Nope. You're not the only to see this situation for what it is and how it relates to the dirty business of politics and power. Unfortunately, the sleight of hand tricks and tactics will continue to keep many Americans distracted, dazed and confused. When it comes to politics, follow the money and watch their hands. Too many folks who look like us are down with the programs. AfroAmericans need to pay attention to every anti-Black weapon being formed against us.

NYC Mayor Eric Adams had to know it was just a matter of time before the federal probe into his campaign financing would catch up to him. https://www.cnn.com/2023/11/12/politics/eric-adams-investigation-cooperate/index.html The media is reporting that Mayor Adams is not the target of the probe but there are less than 6 degrees of separation between him and the folks being investigated. Maybe this trump card is a way of keeping Mayor Adams in check when it comes to those all expenses paid migrants popping up in NYC.

It doesn't take long to accuse the peanut gallery, er, forum of refusing to do research and provide proof from reputable sources.

Hilarious. White folks would not allow Oprah to produce and show that movie on her OWN network. They would wipe her sh8t clean off the cable feed.

It's live footage to the extent that the combatants and victims are not actors. The media is somewhere close by reporting too. Otherwise, it's not uncommon for the media outlets to use the same event footage for different stories. They definitely loop videos and use old footage for dramatic effect and in order to spin the narrative as well.

A man who is successful on any level will not have a problem attracting beautiful, intelligent, strong women if he so desires. H8ll, I've seen and heard quality women complain about gay dudes being a *waste* of a good man. Otherwise, real man doesn't hide his women or make excuses for why he doesn't have one. Again, if a man chooses an alternative lifestyle sexually, that's his business. No need to fake the funk though. Some of us see straight thru that BS. Sen. Tim Scott could have a harem full of white women. IMO, he's a mama's boy or doesn't really want a woman.

Yeah mayne, dude is weird. It was reported that he was a virgin up until his 30s. He's unmarried, no kids and has never been romantically linked to a woman. When questioned about it, all of sudden, he pulls this woman out of the closet. Reminds me of Sen. Cory Booker pulling the same stunt when he was running for POTUS. He has similar status (unmarried, no kids and no woman). Then, Rosario Dawson was his girlfriend supposedly. They broke up shortly after his POTUS run petered out. Folks are entitled to their privacy. It really doesn't matter if these dudes like women or bussy. No need to fake it though. As Audio Two said...I (we) don't care.

Clearly, many folks do not remember the Fat Albert cartoon: As @Pioneer1 mentioned, this guy never stood a chance of winning the nomination. I chuckle at the millions of dollars donated and spent on these campaigns in a losing effort. Americans throw money away like it's bad food. Sen. Tim Scott claims he's 1) not endorsing another candidate and 2) has no cabinet-level aspirations. Yet, I believe that if Orange Julius succeeds in becoming POTUS again and offered Sen. Scott Secretary of Interior, he would take it. Do not trust a Black man with a fake girlfriend. Something ain't right about him.

True. Hence the saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some folks see beauty in the strangest forms and things. I've seen folks attracted to people who could best be described as a booger-wolf.

Not quite. A business cannot if there is no competition or threat of it. Government agencies. Not businesses. They don't produce and/or sell anything in competition with free market. The US military provides security services around the world but it doesn't sell anything for profit. The government prints money and spreads it throughout the economy. Absolutely. One has to do whatever it takes in order to survive.

I know we hardly agree on anything but it's great when your sense of humor cuts through. That was funny.

Meanwhile, the bald owner with the new biceps has relocated to Miami. I'm sure that Latina love in his life was a motivating factor in his makeover. Cue up Oaktown 3-5-7: Juicy got Jeff B. looking for the fountain of youth. Regardless, no amount of money can buy it.

A monopoly keeps other businesses from getting off the ground. It runs counter to a free market system. Microsoft had become a monopoly until the government got involved. The government (state, local and federal) provides jobs and housing and other benefits but it doesn't start businesses. IOW, government doesn't produce and sell products, goods and services. It buys from the free market like everybody else. I try to keep the monopolies from using my posts to generate revenue. Black businesses face a number of hurdles in order to succeed. Black folks always have to better than their competitors. That's why it's important that Black folks become more self-sufficient and vertically integrate in order to lift each other especially in order to build generational wealth.

Don't become gun shy now. For the most part, nobody's trying to drag Black folks into giving an opinion one way or another on this conflict. We've been on code in staying neutral and silent. Not our fight. However, a branch of Black Lives Matter caught some flak for supporting the Palestinians.

Yep. I've heard the same thing about from people who know him too. It shows in his prolific body of work musically. He also wrote for other artists too. I think former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson's facial tattoo started a trend especially among Hip-Hop folks.

Slow down mayne. There's no benefit to his candidacy. Just another old dude looking to enrich his friends and himself at public expense.

The US was built on capitalism which has its good and bad. The US government doesn't start businesses to compete with a free market system. That's why there's no universal healthcare. Affirmative Action helped a lot. Despite being publicly traded, it's still a privately-owned company. They don't have to hire anyone. Case in point...these college kids protesting that conflict in Israel could end up not getting a job if it can be proven that they went against the grain. There's a difference between a publicly traded corporation (stock exchange) and a public entity. Shareholders have a say but not the average person. G88gle is still privately-owned. The local library is publicly owned. Citizens have a right to sit in the library all day without paying as much as attention. Asians and Latinos have entire enclaves of businesses that belong to them. Chinatown is a great example of it. There are a handful of Asians in high tech companies but they aren't deep in white corporations. Latinos mostly work in the labor sector. Black folks don't have to self-segregate in order to be self-sufficient. Many of our people have been dependent on the system of racism white supremacy for so long that they wouldn't know how fish if it was a video on their smartphone. Black folks have been trading their labor and intellectual capital to enrich others for way too long. Too many of our people are still slaves to wages.

Dr. Tyson has a really nice gig as an astrophysicist. Getting paid to talk about the solar system. I can imagine why he isn't willing to offer any wagers.

I believe the *winners* in those particular situations definitely consider it acceptable. Look no further than colonization here in the US and Australia. Entire groups of people wiped out for land.
