Shannon Sharpe chose to settle the lawsuit with his snow bunny for an undisclosed amount of money. Settlement amount has to be far less than the $50 million. Lawyers throw out a high number hoping to negotiate. Of course, Shannon Sharpe will not be back on ESPN. He's still got his podcast. He was already rich. Sharpe will land on his feet just fine. I hope he makes better choices in where to put his meat.🤣😎

Correct. Definitely redundant backup computer systems in place to manage complex systems. But, those automated traffic systems with computer centers were built and refined over time. The traffic system started out very differently when cars were 1st invented.😎

Traffic will become congested until police show up to direct it. In no way am I suggesting that computers are unnecessary. Technology makes our lives easier. It automates mechanical processes. But, we had a way of getting things done before technology automated those processes. In an emergency situation, we go back to whatever worked in the past. No matter how many *smart* people are involved in building technology, there are trials and errors. Sometimes the sh8t blows up or falls out of the sky for no apparent reason. Just ask the purported genius Elon Musk. Some people work with the limitations of existing technology while others try to improve upon and make it better.😎

Throughout human existence it only takes a fraction of the population to be *smart* enough to make incremental advances in prolonging our survivability. The real question becomes how important is the technology if people do not understand how to use it. Put differently, there's always enough people who know enough about the technology to makie it accesssible to the masses. Computers have only been around for a half-century. People are still capable of surviving just fine without them. Population growth has nothing to do with intelligence. Humans don't have to study biology in order to procreate. The masses *not knowing* doesn't seem to be a real world problem in the grand scheme of things.😎

I don't believe high IQ has ever been the key to human survival. 😎

The brain as a physical organ is the computer running the human body. The mind is like a piece of software running on the computer (brain). It collects data from thoughts, feelings and emotions, etc., and processes (codes) it accordingly. The way human minds work is what makes us different beyond physical appearance.😎

Great art predicated on talent for public consumption is a noble goal. There's no shortage of public playhouses all over the country featuring plays, symphonies and other arts related events. However, the music business is a completely different ballgame. There are gatekeepers who decide which artists and musicians succeed. It's not based on their talent or merit. Comes down to how much money they can generate for the company. Berry Gordy understood the game when he started Motown records. He enjoyed great success with it. Unfortunately, the lack of an entrepreneurial mindset and wealth building prevented more Black folks from replicating Motown several times over and being able to own and control our intellectual property which art becomes as a commodity. Nashville is the headquarters for Country music. The city was built on it. What do Black folks have within the music industry that bears any similarity to Nashville?😎

Check the number of Black folks conducting symphony orchestras. There's not many if any. Same goes for occupying 1st, 2nd or 3rd chair. The blessing for Black music was classically trained musicians who couldn't get symphony work found plenty of it arranging and playing on songs from the 1960s through early 1980s. Agreed. Unfortunately, there are still gatekeepers for other genres of music. Black folks should be able to commodify our music and credentialize those who want to exploit it.😎

The Nation of Islam has taken care of Minister Farrakhan. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton were pushing the Democratic party because that's who provided their butter biscuits. Despite any 1990s unity, while there was an effort to raise Black conscience awareness, there was no independent party movement. There's always been the late Herman Cain, Thomas Sowell, uncle Clarence Thomas, Jesse Lee Peterson, Tim Scott, Byron Donalds types among us.😎

It's not codified but non-Black folks do have to *prove* themselves within the Hip-Hop community in order to be accepted at the highest levels.😎

Yep. Humans can rationalize d8mn near anything. Despite their religious beliefs, people seem indifferent to the death and destruction from meaningless conflicts. There's no huge protest from that community. Of course, world leaders have no problems with sanctioning death and destruction towards sociopolitical ends. The *game* is very real. Seems easier for people to bury their heads in the sand especially when they are not directly affected by what's happening.😎

IMO, the fundamental basis of reality is physical existence that can be observed through senses. Any other parallel or alternative reality is a temporary form of escapism.😁😎

The Obama DOJ did investigate Russian tampering with the 2016 election. The problem Democrats and Republicans have when airing dirty laundry against each other is *who* gets exposed. Democrats could have released the Epstein files under Biden administration especially if Trump was implicated. I don't believe either party wants to release the Epstein files because they don't want to expose other people. Also, I don't believe Democrats nor Republicans are interested in solving the problems that plague the Black community. We have to do that for ourselves.😎

Fair enough. A military person removing POTUS by any means would be punished harshly. It's not jumping to a conclusion if the solution to the problem involves the US military. Political assassination would not sit well with Americans. Congress isn't doing the best job of folllowig or enforcing the constitution.😎

Those who refuse to see the handwriting on the wall as technology progresses are doomed to be consumed by it in one way or another. I can imagine the blue collar workers who show up every day to perform their tasks. As long as they were *employed*, they thought nothing of the company buying a robot that could do the *same* work; faster, and without taking breaks or not showing up for work due to illness or some other life thing. First, workers aren't replaced when they retire. Then, the company buys more robots. Eventually, every assembly line has a robot. Fewer humans in the factory. A long time ago, computers automated offices in such a way that fewer humans are required. Self-checkout and kiosks have replaced cashiers in fast food places and big box stores. Right now, there's no shortage of delivery drivers. Human drivers will be replaced by robots and drones and self-driving vehicles. Companies will automate anything that does not require a human to touch it. They will mine data generated by humans to *teach* AI. Humans are responsible for creating the technology that will make them expendable especially in the workforce i.e. white-collar workers. The only people who will be able to earn a decent living in the future are those who can produce or provide a product and/or service for consumption. For example, musicians will have to perform live in order to make money for their music. An artist will have to sell their work at art shows and other venues. Obviously, people who can work with their hands or gifted/talented in other areas will be OK i.e. medical professionals, skilled laborers, chefs, athlete and entertainers, etc. In the future, professionals like scientists, engineers, architects, etc., will have a harder time finding employment too. The funny thing is education is a hustle too. While educators are getting paid, the very people they are turning out may not be able to find a job. This is just the beginning of AI taking over the human labor force and anything else humans don't feel the need to do. We are definitely going to need that Universal Basic Income (UBI) in order for people to take care of themselves.😎

The middle class and poor of all generations overwhelmingly voted a rich clown back into office as POTUS. That is a problem to solve.😁😎
