  1. Not sure about the original Hungarians and Romanians but ofcourse the original people of China were Black (Asiatic Black). These were the people the Chinese of today learned most of their martial arts from.
  2. Troy When? Harlem was on loan; a community of renters not owners. There's a difference between OWNING and RULING. They often go hand-n-hand, but not always. It is my understanding that even though most of the buildings were owned by Caucasians, the majority (or atleast a very large portion) of the actual businesses in Harlem from the 20s up to the early 70s were AfroAmerican owned like most of the residents. Similarly, though much of the criminal activities were supplied by Caucasian gangs...most of the groundwork and distribution controled by AfroAmerican crime lords and gangsters. Come on man do YOU of all people really believe that? Yes. It's speculation because I'm not in the minds of the Caucasian Dominists (my new term to replace "White Supremacy"..lol) but based on my research and logic that seems to explain why most "harlems" in other major cities were destroyed but THAT Harlem and a few others were allowed to remain. The casualty count would be too high and too noticeable. Look at the people now? Who is reacting? Harlem isn't being destroyed, just gentrified and re-formed. That's different than physically destroying a place and bulldozing it over like Greenwood and many other AfroAmerican districts.
  3. Chev Busy???? Busy, doing WHAT....the world is coming to an end....lol. How's Pops doing?
  4. Troy Abrams is playing the long game. I know, and that's the problem...she's playing GAMES. Caucasian Domination (my new term for White Supremacy) isn't a game it's serious business. She's busy trying to strategize the best ways to get "Democrats" in office and gain "Democrat" power in the state instead of focusing on more AFROAMERICANS in office and building AFROAMERICAN political and economic power in Georgia. Two GA senators is far better for all of us than an state governor. How? What specifically have either one of them promised AfroAmericans in the nation or even in Georgia that you or I have to look forward to? Generally speaking, an executive position is MUCH better than a legislative position. If she were Governor she could have issued an endless amount of executive orders to get things done. Let's just see what the Democrats do now that they got control of both houses. Come on bro, I KNOW you remember the Obama Era when Democrats had the Presidency, and BOTH houses and outside of Obamacare didn't do jack for the poor or AfroAmericans. What makes you think this time will be any different? Stefan Why are you presenting us with some goof-ball article about a hillbilly cracking racist jokes about Stacy Abrams as if it's relevant in this conversation? My critique of her character isn't even in the same ballpark. Those who don’t understand BlackThink and how candidate transparency is necessary to increase voter turnout ignore her at their peril. What???? Voter turn out and even election to office is meaningless without an agenda. Most AfroAmericans in Georgia just like most AfroAmericans nation wide HAVE NO AGENDA. So what are they voting or even running for...besides helping to bolster the "Democrat Party"?
  5. Stefan Lol.... Why would I be jealous of a quitter and (according to you) self-sacrificer? What benefit is there to imitating or reaping the consequences of either one? She's worse than President Obama. Like Obama she's very smart and articulate but atleast Obama fought for himself when he wouldn't fight for any other AfroAmerican. She wouldn't even fight for herself. As a female maybe she has extreme "motherly instincts" and believes in sacrificing her own success for what she believed was the good of Georgia. That's an admirable quality if I were looking for a wife. But not for a politician whom I needed to fight for me and my interests.
  6. Sounds like Porky Pig N' Friends are running the world....lol. "Invest in anything but pork bellies!"
  7. Stefan In other words, she conceded the most powerful position in Georgia only to become a "useful idiot" that helped others fulfill THEIR dreams at the expense of her own? The Democrat Party already HAD people who don't seek office but who's sole responsibility is to help OTHERS get into strategic political positions...they're called Party Chairs. She could have done MUCH MORE for the AfroAmerican and Progressive Caucasian communities in an executive position such as Governor than she did running around Georgia cheerleading for others who from what little I've heard from them are far LESS outspoken than she is. She was literally cheated of out an election and refused to put up so much as a fight in her own defense. She's a very intelligent, articulate, and out spoken sister...but she's not a fighter. How could the AfroAmericans of Georgia expect her to fight for them and stand up to the lies and tricks of the right-wing when she won't even do it for herself? Gotta keep throwing Andrew Gillum in the mix with her because both of them gave up and relented in the face of race based political fraud around the same time. It was both of their moments to shine and turn the tide of voter theft and intimidation and they capitulated.
  8. That woman is a quitter. She GAVE UP (conceded) even despite the evidence of voter fraud, voter disenfranchisement, and other irregularities. Like most Democrats....she folded. She had the opportunity to become the Governor of Georgia and solidify that state as a center of AfroAmerican political and economic success...and blew it. I can't have too much confidence in people like her and that brother from Florida (Andrew Gillum) who also gave up and let Desantis take the Governor's spot. If you won't even fight for your own benefit, I can't expect you to fight for mine.
  9. Troy Lol @ "written for children". You sound like Stefan...lol But I've been saying (even on this site) for YEARS that they have been deliberately DUMBING DOWN the AfroAmerican community. But do you know why those articles in the old school Ebony were so superbly written? Because back in those days most professional AfroAmericans lived by a code that we had to be TWICE AS GOOD as Caucasians just to qualify for the same career. Which naturally made us better even if we didn't get the recognition for it. At some point that code was abandoned (not exactly sure when) and a lot of our people just stopped trying to compete with Caucasians for school, jobs, housing, ect. We used to stick together and compete with Caucasians. I remember as a kid in school back in the 70s Black schools actually rallied together to compete with the White suburban schools as far as sports, grades, ect.... But then many of our people stopped competing with Caucasians and started competing with EACHOTHER.
  10. This society seems to be collapsing and I've been saying for MONTHS that all of this has to be. This now is the time for us as AfroAmericans to build our own brand new society with our own communities. "Would you believe it if I told you that Capital used to sit RIGHT ON THIS SPOT? I know because I was here 11 years ago when it was still here and they were talking about turning the ground into farm land"
  11. Troy The idea that gambling and drinking in the classroom was allowed in your school tells me that this sort of thing is probably not unusual at all, and that is depressing. Come on man, that was happening in schools all over the city. Students were getting drunk, gambling, fighting, and even having sex in different spots of school in nearly EVERY public high school and junior high school in the city. Some schools were worse than others. Black middle and upper middle class people could have ruled Harlem if they chose to do so, but that would have taken organization and commitment from large groups of people and that is something which is in short supply. They DID rule Harlem (as much as the Caucasian Dominists allowed) right up to the mid to late 60s. But like most AfroAmerican communities all over the nation, once they were allowed to "integrate" into Caucasian society most of the wealthy and professional AfroAmericans LEFT for Caucasian neighborhoods. That's when the AfroAmerican neighborhoods began collapsing since the only people left in them were poor people and criminals. Harlem is not unique, as I move around the country I see the same thing wherever I go. Harlem is just ONE of the Black Wall Streets. One that wasn't destroyed like Greenwood. Most major cities had a Black section where poverty and wealth swirled together. In Detroit it was called Black Bottom/Paradise Valley. Harlem wasn't destroyed because it was in the middle of a major cosmopolitan city and the entire world would have reacted. But MOST Black sections were either burned down or had freeways built through them.
  12. Troy Well, what is the skin color of these oligarchs who maintain power over the masses? What is the skin color of these people who dominate both parties seeking to enrich themselves?
  13. Interesting take......... Let me first stay that the System of Caucasian Domination controls BOTH political parties. And this must be understood and probably should be taught to AfroAmerican children in order to avoid CONFUSION. People often get lost in too much detail and historical info. They want concise information they can clearly understand. Secondly, you make a great observation between Social Conservatives and Economic Conservatives. Social Conservatives seem to dominate the VOTER BASE of the Republican Party while Economic Conservatives seem to dominate the ELECTED OFFICIALS of the party. For most of the 20th Century the Republican Party has been the party of the rich and business owners. But Republicans learned early on as the demographics of the nation began to change and the education of the population began to improve (up until the 1970s) that there wouldn't be enough wealthy Economically Conservative voters available to continue to vote them in and keep them in office...so they had to use OTHER tactics to pull voters away from the Democrat Party. So they used WEDGE ISSUES like race, abortion, unions, religion, ect...to pull voters away from the Democrat Party.
  14. Joan My first advice for you is to NOT argue or even talk to people who believe that Black people are "lower than animal fodder". If they believe this they are either stupid or very racist (or both) and aren't worthy of your discussion. Second, I advice you to focus on praying to The SUPREME BEING and worshiping That BEING as well as following what you sincerely believe in your heart to be the right things INSTEAD of spending a lot of time reading these religious books or allowing religions to tell you what to believe or do. If you do this you will AVOID a lot of confusion in your life. Most of these religious scriptures were designed FOR Cauasians...not us. Which is why much of it doesn't make sense to our people. YOU as a Black woman don't have "guilty feelings" and "blood lust thoughts" in your mind, lol. So when you hear people talk about having to over-come these thoughts...they make no sense to you. Because these religions weren't designed for YOU, they were designed for Caucasians. They were designed to give THEM a sense of morality where they had none. We are the original people with a DIRECT connection to God, thus we have a NATURAL sense of morality and consciousness where we automatically know right from wrong and don't need books to tell us.
  15. 2021 is the year of the Great Separation. With Covid 19 spreading and even more contagious strains being introduced into society and shots being mandated....this is an ALARM for AfroAmericans to separate themselves from the Caucasian establishment and build our own society. It's also a time for us as AfroAmericans to separate among OURSELVES. Those of us who are righteous, intelligent, and believe in building a society of our own for ourselves and our progeny must SEPARATE ourselves from those who are stupid, immoral, criminal minded, and have no plans to build or do anything for themselves but ONLY plan to lay around and beg Caucasians for as much as they can and rob from other AfroAmericans. Those type of people we MUST separate ourselves from!
  16. If I had $14 million I would invest in much broader mass media than a magazine....although that is needed. I'd probably buy some sort of television or radio station FIRST because this is where AfroAmericans intellectual stimulation is most needed (outside of an educational system of our own). I'd also drop about $3 or $4 million on Troy's AALBC if he promised to build a warehouse and perhaps a large "walk in" book store with some of it (seriously....I'm not just talking). However if we are strictly talking magazines............. In today's environment, periodicals like magazines and news papers must be geared towards intellectuals and highly educated professionals because they are usually the few who actually take time to READ periodicals on a regular basis. So the entire format of Ebony would have to change from it's traditional entertainment based content. So I would probably aim it the Black Enterprise crowd and the AfroAmerican upper-middle class.
  17. Gibran Plus, I had on a real fly sweatsuit that he commented on. They were only two in the entire city and I had both of them. Had bought them right out of the showroom window. Lol...nigga is you CRAZY???? Something ain't right with you man, LMBAO!!!! If this was 1983 it could have only been Adidas or Fila....lol. The DA demolished my partner who was an ex-con, unemployed, an ex-junkie. He did have that receipt from Traffic Court. I was thinking about that from the other thread. He may not be a good "character witness" but he would be good to corroborate your story. But this is one of the reasons you should always keep your receipts from things like banks, courts, ect...for atleast ONE YEAR. You never know when they may come in handy! The guy had actually did the robbery, confessed to it, but since he had pleaded guilty and all the robberies he had were consolidated as one and due to the law, I couldn't present the info to the court. Wow...this guy admitted to robbing the place I was charged with and I could not address it so what happened is that two people were doing time for the same crime. I was the innocent one and I got more time "for not robbing the place" than he got for robbing it. Ain't that a bitch ((long silence.......shakes head)) So brother....you ended up doing another 8 years on the bid? All one can say is...glad you're out with us today bro.
  18. Gibran I actually wanted to be a lawyer back in my 20s. I always liked debating and I love arguing as you probably can tell....lol. But when I found out how much time you had to spend in school and how strenuous Law School was, I reconsidered...lol. Yes sir, I would like to hear the rest of the story.
  19. Bro Gibran Biggie Smalls said: DAYAMN...them peoples stuck you for your cream and it ain't a dream, things ain't always what they seem! A number of things immediately stood out in your recount.......... -If you were in traffic court with your friend at a certain time BEFORE 9:15....depending on how far away it was from the crime you couldn't have possibly committed it. They had cameras in court even back in 1983. -If you went to see the lawyer AT 9:15 most likely both you and your friend were still there AT 9:30 or 9:45 according to your list of activities, did the lawyer act as a witness to confirm your alibi? -Did your friend act as a witness to confirm your alibi since he was there with you for nearly or over an hour while all of this was taking place?
  20. The brother and his wife walk around a developing part of Dar Salaam (Tanzania). This isn't the best part of the city but a part they are working on constructing and developing:
  21. I believe he's in Tanzania right now. Which reminds me, I should post that video as well. He said he was looking to relocate in one of the East African nations like Kenya or Tanzania but I'm not sure where he's decided to sit his cases down. Oh, I forgot to post this video. More of beautiful Rwanda and this is in a rather upscale neighborhood...........
  22. I'm sure the alligators that were crawling around his yard miss him....or atleast miss their opportunity, lol.
  23. Chev Well that's good that he is conscious and can acknowledge those who still love him and care about him. I know you and many of your family members love him, but ultimately it's not about what your relatives want for him but what HE wants for HIMSELF. When people are suffering in a lot of pain and discomfort...a bunch of loved ones standing over them with sad faces crying and praying that they stay alive may seem like the "nice" thing to do, but is actually often the selfish thing to do because too often people just don't want to let their loved ones to leave them despite their suffering.
  24. Troy Mel Hopkins graduated from Tech too. Lol....she graduated??? I'm surprised as this is where you usually say something like; "These are race soldiers, who chose to stay in the hood willing to sacrifice themselves to help maintain white racism." Lol, thanks for reminding me because this is actually true but not in ALL cases. In some cases they are genuinely poor or stupid (or both) and have no where else to go. You can't always tell. But there are others like Jeffery Dahmer who weren't stupid and weren't really poor but purposefully stayed in AfroAmerican neighborhoods in order to be close to their victims. He chopped up and ate negro meat. I'm sure despite the racism the teachers and schools were superior in Stefan's generation than mine. The single worse teacher I even had was at Brooklyn Tech. This so called teacher (a retired engineer) allowed us to shoot dice and drink beer in the back of the classroom. All the kids were smart, but we just continued to push boundaries until it became clear there were none. Our "teacher" would read the paper while we gambled. It's funny you said that because I had a couple teachers who let us (not me I didn't shoot dice) do the same thing. Well, to keep it real no teacher let us "knowingly" drink alcohol but they would let us gather in corners and drink drinks that clearly affected our behavior and they also let us openly gamble and "cap" on eachother.......without saying a word. Part of me wonder whether they were doing it for their own safety. Meaning, if they didn't have any security in the building (as my highschool didn't) and couldn't rely on other teachers successfully being able to come to their rescue when one of the boys or girls commenced to whooping on that ass...lol....which actually happened SEVERAL times, perhaps they made the best decision. As I told Stefan, in an ideal world you would have ADEQUATE security in every school for both the students and the staff. In Stefan's generation, and earlier, teaching was a respected profession today teachers are treated like blue collar workers, as a result teaching is not the first job that comes to mind for our brightest people. Teachers were considered part of the "Professional class" by reason of their high education, but most of them aren't making Professional Class money unless they are teaching in a college or university. Like Stefan said, it has to be something you REALLY want to do.
  25. One of the problems is that most AfroAmerican children learn DIFFERNTLY than Caucasian children (especially the boys) and most teachers are trained on how to teach Caucasian children, not children of other races. There was a school in Chicago (I forgot the name of it) which was a special academy of all AfroAmerican children nearly ALL of them turned out to extemely high achievers not only academically but well rounded in music and other fields and I think nearly all of them were able to learn several languages and qualify for prestigious colleges. AfroAmerican children can learn and EXCEED Caucasian children in academics and all other fields and disciplines when taught in the proper environment by the proper teachers. They know this, which is why they keep the educational system the way it is.
