ProfD She's already a successful politician without needing a man's help. Ofcourse. I'm not suggesting that she NEEDS a man in her life to be successful because she obviously doesn't. But my point is the RIGHT MAN will make her MORE successful. There's is little doubt about that. They are known as POWER COUPLES and work together SYNERGISTICALLY. Just like 2 heads are better than one, when 2 intelligent people who love eachother work together in harmony to achieve an appointed goal...their efforts will usually yield MORE than twice the amount of success that each of them would have produced individually. When it comes to the success produced by a strong marriage built on love and intelligence, the WHOLE is greater than the sum of it's individual parts. People hardly ever say, if that man locked arms with the *right* woman he would be more successful. The Nation of Islam constantly teaches the men this, and many fundamentalist Christians, Jews, and Muslims teach this as well. They teach that a man isn't "complete" unless he's married and that marriage brings out the best in him and mature him. I personally believe SOME men are better off married and SOME men are better off single, but to be fair...most religions push marriage off on men as much as they push it off on women. Your scenario paints the picture a lot of women work hard to avoid. If they have to work THAT hard to avoid it, perhaps they need to stop avoiding it...lol. Perhaps it's trying to get their attention for a reason...lol. It may be their CONSCIENCE talking to them and telling them that whatever they're striving for, they could get it much faster if they had a good man in their life that they could depend on to help them. If you think about it, that's just common sense. Not that you NEED it, but who couldn't use more help to get where they're trying to go? Oprah could use more. She doesn't need it.....but she could use it....it wouldn't hurt. Degree of success can be debated but it differs from one person to the another. Facts. Not only the degree but SUCCESS ITSELF and what it means to be "successful" also differs from person to person. For some people, success means finally learning how to roll a blunt while driving. "Jeez.... Never thought I'd be happy to get caught by a red light!"

ProfD Balancing her career as a politicians and having time to deal with a man would be the hurdle. If she found the RIGHT man, he'd be more of an asset than a liability. He could actually HELP her to overcome any hurdles or obstabcles she faces. She's a politician. Imagine if she were to lock arms with a billionaire brother with his own Energy firm down there in Texas. He could not only fund her re-election campaigns but use his business connections to keep the Republican wolves off her back. Threaten to cancel their contracts with his firm if they fuck with his lady...lol. He could also build a plant or two in her district bringing jobs and revenue. Ofcourse, a brutha like that.....she might have to "share" him....if you know what I mean, lol. That dude would be more interested in going shopping or having a girl's night out with her. I can see him being the shoulder she can cry on, if she needs to. But something tells me that our sista ain't much on crying....lol.

You can't even do THAT....lol. These fools be setting traps and shit out in their yards so that if you come on their property unannounced....you might fall through some sort of trap hole, lol. -
ProfD Absolutely not. It is the opiate that makes life under the system of racism white supremacy more bearable for some folks. I agree with that one. So does food, alcohol, drugs, and other forms of "entertainment". If that's a person's only means of coping....I wouldn't take it away from them UNLESS I could offer a better alternative. Most Black folks work for white-owned companies and businesses. ....which further supports my point. And if you've ever worked WITH Black folks IN a White owned-company, you know the type of competition and back-stabbing that often exists in these environments. Some Black folks will do you in and lie on you and do you all kinds of dirty if they think it will bring them closer to the White executives and management. Those intelligent enough to build THEIR OWN firms and formulate THEIR OWN economy, don't have to engage in such trifling and dishonorable behavior. Fear can be mental and/or physical. As @frankster mentioned, it doesn't have anything to do with intelligence. ALL fear is mental. The CAUSES may be physical (impending doom, imminent physical harm).... The SYMPTOMS may present themselves physically (nervousness, confusion, crying)..... ....but the emotion itself is of the mind.

ProfD That's also why those same people have a hard time understanding suicide and other forms of martyrdom. I don't fully understand the logic behind religious "martyrdom". First of all why does the Higher Being you serve "need" you to fight for Them? It seems that if that Being wants them destroyed, They'd do it Themselves. And if they DO want it done at your hands...then they'd give you the INTELLIGENCE and ABILITY to do it. You wouldn't have to try so hard. Again, many folks are willing to endure poverty, pain and suffering for a morsel of enjoyment and/or happiness True. And some folks are just down right confused. They want to die, but are afraid to and not sure what's on the other side waiting for them. -
ProfD I HOPE you aren't suggesting that Black folks haven't risen out of the clutches out of White Racism because they're too busy having sex....lol. In terms of military strength and technology China rivals Caucasians...both White America and Europe combined. And there's a billion and a half Chinese swarming around on the planet. Apparently they aren't so caught up in school and industry that they don't have time to "do it"...lol. Seems to me intelligent people can walk and chew gum at the same time. Here again, it swings right back around to intelligence. An intelligent person doesn't have to rely on OTHER people to provide the comforts of life for him...he's smart enough to invent the technology himself and provide even MORE comfort than his less intelligent "would be if he could be" oppressor could offer him. Massa offers me more butter biscuits and a place to stay in the Big House for selling out ....but I just built a whole MANSION complete with banquet room and have 12 servants of my own. There's NO NEED for me to sell out or cave in to White racism. Why? Because intelligence BRINGS comfort. And fear???? What is there to fear from someone you're clearly superior in intelligence to? Would you fear the threats from a 6 year old little boy, or retarded young man....when you could obviously set traps for him and out think anything he tries at any time you wish? His threats and even attempts at harming you is mere ENTERTAINMENT that leaves you longing for a REAL challenge sometimes.

ProfD Neither a woman nor a man has to be married in order to enjoy companionship and s8xual satisfaction. True Infact, In this society....in some cases there is actually more HARM that comes from legalizing their relationship than the good that comes out of it. And being a lawyer...she probably knows that quite well..lol. It is easier for a woman to replace the batteries in a gadget than it is to get rid of another human being especially if/when they start f8cking up and/or getting on their nerves. Well... That's what night stands are for. Keep "back up" in the bottom drawer along with a pack of Duracells just incase. Roger from What's Happening said: HA HAAAAA!

It's not about us "lacking intelligence". The question is do we have enough intelligence....as a community...to solve our problems and get out from under the thumb and rule of White racism? If we do... If we ARE smart enough; then why haven't we? It comes to a point where a man becomes too old and sober minded to entertain excuses. Chances are any excuse reason you give will eventually swing back around to you either being intelligent enough to overcome it nor not.

So we don't know WHERE the insects and their larva are coming from to concoct some of this "meat" they're peddling to the public. Roaches and flies and many of these other insects are nature's scavengers and were meant to eat the waste...not BE eaten. -
Well, you and I both know the problems our people run into when Black women started trying to learn from and take cues from these feminist White women. Maybe SHE doesn't need a man, but most women of color need men....just like most men of color need women. Now I'm not saying this about our sister Congresswoman Crockett in particular, but about Black women in general.... While SOME women don't need a man, the vast majority do. Not just for financial security but for companionship and sexual satisfaction. At some point those batteries are BOUND to run out of energy....lol....but Jamar won't! At some point that gadget is BOUND to malfunction, but DeMarcus is a a sure thang when it comes to getting down in the sack...lol.

Congress Unanimously Passes Transparency Act
Pioneer1 replied to ProfD's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Seriously? What's with all these fucking laws and "Acts"????? Did it really take an ACT of Congress for law enforcement to half-way do their jobs? And if this isn't a law enforcement issue but a media/disclosure issue....what stopped the media from releasing this information YEARS ago? What about the Freedom of Information Act that already passed decades ago??? It reminds me of the Voting Rights Act. Black people already have the right to vote in the U.S. and any infringement on that right is illegal. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. You don't need and "act of Congress" to protect it. What you need is for law enforcement to do their job and PROSECUTE those local officials who try to infringe on your constitutional rights. -

Troy It depends on the TYPE of insect being eaten. Maybe a grasshopper that primarily munches on grass is acceptable for a human to eat, but what about flies and their maggot larva? I don't see how anything that feasts on dead and rotting flesh can be healthy for humans to consume. -
Tariq Nasheed's Take On Mamdani's Election
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
And you know what...... Talk about critical thinking. Although all of them are great for offering different perspectives and often thought provoking commentary on the various issues affecting our people....I wouldn't put any one of them in the same category! I wouldn't put Tariq Nasheed in Rizza Islam's category......or Rizza in Professor BT's category....and not even Jason Black in PBT's category! Not only do they provide different individual perspectives....but could be considered representatives of different GENRES (for lack of a better term) of FBA intellectual thought. -
Well, at 44..... She better hurry up and make a decision

ProfD They take care of their own people Yes, THEY are taking care of their own people and WE are also taking care of their people...lol. Our tax dollars are going to help defend their country and train their military as some of those nations are also part of NATO. Syrians and other refugees should've stayed at home. Makes no sense running to another country and still be impoverished. That may be a sign of low intelligence. There's no "may be" about it...lol. If yall number about half a billion people and tiny Israel is whooping your ass and driving you out of your homes to the point that you have to flee to Europe, South Africa, America, and other places around the planet....clearly you're facing an intelligence higher than your own. But it does make sense. Because although they flee to another country and still live in poverty....atleast they're SAFE. It's one thing to simply be poor. It's another thing to be poor AND constantly living in danger. -
Tariq Nasheed's Take On Mamdani's Election
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
ProfD I've heard those claims. Plausible considering nobody really knows how some folks are being funded. Also, although I understand the reasoning why...I've always found it a little suspicious that both Professor Black Truth AND The Black Authority keep their pictures hidden. Both of them have been broadcasting for years, yet amazingly their identities have remained hidden with no pictures seen of them what so ever. They also have interesting sounding voices. Again, I understand why they may want to hide their identity but I don't KNOW that you're really a Black man unless I KNOW you're a Black man. Thought process is we should already know neither POTUS OJ nor Republicans gives a sh8t about Black folks. Therefore, we know what to expect from them. Only a fairly intelligent to above average and politically mature populace would understand that. The average American listening to them wouldn't. Most people in America today are so silly and one-track minded that if they hear you constantly criticizing the Democrats and almost NEVER criticizing Trump or the Republicans....they'll assume that's who you support and endorse. It's almost common sense for most people to assume that if the names of 2 people come up and you routinely have nothing but bad things to say about one and next to nothing to say about the other...you must like the other. Especially if the 2 are fighting eachother. You're constantly criticizing the Democrats and the Liberals and say nothing about the Republicans or Conservatism....the average person is going to assume you like them more. IMO, the New Black Media has a huge opportunity to build a movement. Just a matter of coming up with agenda and putting action behind it. That's the thing.... Is building a movement actually part of their agenda? Or is their agenda simply to pull Black folks away from the Democrat party...and that's it. Not turn them Republican or Conservative. Not turn them MAGA. Simply pull they away from voting Democrat....and stop right there. Because that's all Republicans really need to ensure victory. Troy Excuse my ignorance but does tether I to all nonFBAs here or just the ones who talk dot about us. ProfD already answered your question, but if I may...... Tether is a term Tariq Nasheed came up with to describe Black folks from African and West Indian backgrounds who work to undermine the progress and social status of FBA's. He calls them "tether" because they love to come to the United States and attach themselves (tether) to our culture and even pretend to be one of us...just to take advantage of the benefits we fought for.....then turn around and undermine us or bad mouth us and our subculture. He CLAIMS it's not a term used for the "good" Africans and West Indians who work with us and help our rise, but he clearly uses it as a form of ridicule and insult. It's not just recent immigrants who can be considered a tether but if you're born in the United States but come from an immigrant background 2 and 3 generations ago...you could still be considered a tether depending on your behavior, according to his logic. I like Tariq and his commentary obviously, but this too I find suspect. He seems to have more energy for Africans than Latinos and other immigrants. I've had some negative experiences with Africans....but I "understand" why. And I've had far more positive experiences with them than negative ones. But most of his commentary is spot on so....with my man Tariq, sometimes you gotta take the good with the bad....lol. I’m afraid unless the owners of new Black Media are more mission driven than financially driven. It Will ultimately not serve us. Perhaps they weren't MEANT to. Perhaps that wasn't part of their mission from their inception. I'm not saying this is definitely the case, however I'm suggesting that it COULD be a possibility....given their patterns of political and social rhetoric. -

One of the arts of effective deception is CONFUSION. They don't make ALL of it poisonous or grind it up from roaches and maggots....lol. That'll make it too easy for you, because you'll simply avoid ALL of it and live a nice healthy life. What they do is play psychological games to keep enticing you to eat of it. Not only do they continue to lower the price but they'll make SOME of it from real meat and SOME of it from worms and poisons but they'll keep you guessing as to which is made out of what, because they know most people will take a chance and eat what they "think" is the healthier choice. -

Pioneer1 replied to ProfD's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
ProfD They may not operate on greed but they do operate on racism and xenophobia because until recently....those nations were almost exclusively White. Now that a lot of refugees from Syria and other parts of the Middle East have been coming in....you're starting to see more poverty and wealth inequalities. Another thing about places like Sweden and Norway is that they are pretty much the "bitch" of America. America protects them. So they don't have to spend their money on a military. All they have to do is just sit there with their legs crossed looking "pretty"...lol.
