  1. Here's another article from the Daily Beast..... Maskless White People Are Fueling a Massive New Coronavirus Surge in Mississippi ‘NOT COMFORTABLE’ Communities of color will inevitably be affected by their rogue neighbors, experts say, and a new partial mask mandate isn’t touching some of the worst-hit areas. The coronavirus raged through Mississippi’s cities and its poorer, predominantly Black counties this summer, eventually pushing the state to the highest rate of per-capita infections and deaths in the country. But Moak said that in Wesson, which is in predominantly white Lincoln County, “we weren’t seeing it so much.” That equilibrium has shifted dramatically in the last month. The same week that Clear Branch had its outbreak, at least 24 students and teachers at the local public school, Wesson Attendance Center, tested positive. By mid-October, more than 150 students and teachers would end up in quarantine. A few minutes down the road in Brookhaven, a similar scenario played out, as outbreaks in the elementary and high schools there sent more than 100 students and teachers into quarantine. “It’s just in our community right now. I wish I could see where it’s coming from, but I don’t have that magic wand,” Moak said. But health experts think they do know: white people who refuse to wear masks. After two months of steady declines, a second coronavirus wave is rising in Mississippi. On Friday, the state recorded 1,322 new infections, its highest single-day number since August. But the face of the pandemic in the state has shifted dramatically in that time. Mississippi, once a case study for how the coronavirus disproportionately sickens Black people in this country, is seeing its second wave driven by white Mississippians in rural parts of the state. The reason, according to Dr. Thomas Dobbs, the top health officer in Mississippi, is simple: Rural white communities aren’t taking the necessary precautions to avoid spreading the virus. “I think big parts of the white community, especially in areas that maybe weren’t as hard affected [this summer], have not been as compliant.” “We have had really pretty good uptake by a lot of folks in the Black community with masking and social distancing,” Dobbs said on a call with reporters last week. “… And I just want to say that I think big parts of the white community, especially in areas that maybe weren’t as hard-affected [this summer], have not been as compliant or engaged actively with social distancing and masking. And I think that does make a difference.” On Oct. 9, deaths among white Mississippians surpassed those of Black Mississippians for the first time since the Mississippi State Department of Health publicly made racial data available in June. And the trend is likely to get worse. Between Sept. 16 and Oct. 14, new coronavirus infections among white Mississippians rose 26.8 percent, more than double the 12.6 percent rate of increase among Black Mississippians. As of Monday, the number of white and Black Mississippians diagnosed with the coronavirus was almost equal. In early July, the number of Black Mississippians with the virus had been double that of whites. Despite rising case numbers, on Sept. 30, Tate Reeves became the first U.S. governor to let his statewide mask mandate expire. Reeves’ office declined a request for comment from The Daily Beast, but on Monday the governor announced he would be signing an executive order partially reinstating the mask mandate in nine counties where he said “spread was most rapid.” . Epidemiologists point out that increased cases among white Mississippians are still likely to spell disaster for Black residents, who tend to be at higher risk of complications from the virus. “The only job the virus has is to keep spreading because that’s the way it remains alive. And as long as people who have it aren’t complying [with risk reduction], it will keep spreading,” said William Schaffner, a professor of preventive medicine and infectious disease at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. “And that will ultimately hurt people of color because they have had the worst outcomes.” https://www.thedailybeast.com/maskless-white-people-are-fueling-a-massive-new-coronavirus-surge-in-mississippi It's as plain as the nose on your face.
  2. I'm not sure if those who are thoroughly BRAINWASHED can....lol. Their ONLY thought is the one they were programmed with. No room for anything else.
  3. Troy I never heard of Mario A. Brossard, and I'm not interested enough to look him or his article up. Lol, man I had to LOL for real with that statement because I had the SAME reaction. I said, who the f....??? Mario A. Brossard??? I started to look him up and then decided......who cares? Another negro running his mouth. Probably some Sambo "token negro" on USA Today's payroll being paid to promote more anti-Black male political propaganda. But I agree with most of AJ Jones' response. My only problem with it is the "really dude" remark in the response....lol. I use it myself sometimes, but I wish we as a people would get out of a habit of saying "really" and "dude" so much. These are Caucasian slang terms and we rarely copy Caucasians when it comes to street and slang terms, they usually copy US. I'm hearing Black youth running around calling eachother "bro". "Really, bro??" "Serioiusly, bro????" I have to step in and check some of these young bruthaz. Come on man, we call eachother "brutha" or "bruh". But "bro" is usually something a goofy white dude says to us when he's TRYING to be cool, lol. "Come on, gimme some dap bro... Don't leave me hangin' " I knew something was wrong when I started seeing more and more Black young men running around town in "skinny jeans" and skateboarding. I had to ask myself, since when did Black you start imitating White youth???????
  4. Troy Ok you probably know more than I on the subject. I thought many people became depressed at one point maybe they were just sad. You're right, many people DO become depressed at some point in their lives but they don't know what it is or what caused it. You can get DEPRESSION in the middle of success if your chemistry is disrupted. It has little to do with outside events in your life. And it feels much different than regular "sadness". Also, these type of chemical imbalances of the brain is behind MOST of the violence you see going on in the urban areas of the United States. A lot of the violence is caused by literally CRAZY people with undiagnosed psychiatric problems being ALLOWED to roam around in the community. The Caucasian police know who they are and don't do anything about it UNTIL they hurt somebody and run off.....then the police come and take down notes. It ain't happening in THEIR community, so who cares. Sure, I believe it. She is no different than the people who believe autism somes from the MMR v*ccine. Lol....... I think you know by now that I'm an anti-vaxxer. I wouldn't say it's the same thing because their is NO EVIDENCE that autism is caused by possession but there is PLENTY of evidence and some would even say "proof" that autism is caused by v*ccines. I'm not 100% sure where autism comes from but I DO believe it's linked to v*ccination. Autism has been steadily increasing among AfroAmerican males for the past 40 years....something is causing it!
  5. Ofcourse they aren't going to tell you they are DELIBERATELY doing this to harm AfroAmericans because it's hard to prove it's being done on purpose unless a Caucasian comes right out and SAYS it. How many racist Caucasians have you met in your life who ADMITTED they were racist or did something to you for racist reasons? How many racist cops kill a person and ADMIT they killed them because of racism? Come on man, you have to put 2 and 2 together. What do you want....for White folks to come on CNN and hold a public announcement ADMITTING that they are trying to spread Covid 19???
  6. Indian man who worships Trump: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-india-usa-trump-fan/trumps-indian-worshipper-dies-depressed-over-presidents-covid-19-illness-idUSKBN26X2ED When I talk about Trump supporters worshipping him, it's not simply about what others are saying about them....it's what they are actually SAYING and DOING.
  7. Troy I don't think @Ann Bray Smith was talking about brain maladies like schizophrenia and other conditions requiring psychiatric help. Perhaps you're right, I'm not sure. But she SHOULD have been if she wasn't because proper psychiatric help is just as important if not more. If someone has a chemical imbalance in the brain causing them problems...all the "therapy" and "counseling" in the world is of little help because the underlying cause is a PHYSICAL one. It's like inviting a woman with a broken leg to sit in on a discussion group thinking that's going to set her leg and mend her broken bone! She was talking about things depression (not clinical) and PTSD. Both Depression (true) and PTSD are psychiatric also. If it's not clinical, it's not Depression. Caucasians (I have to keep going back to Caucasians and White Supremacy because they are the cause) have confused the public about mental health and health in general. Many of THEM know the truth, but they confuse many of our people into NOT knowing the truth so they end up running around in circles THINKING they know what they don't know and wondering why they aren't making much progress. That's why it's important for our people to be PROPERLY EDUCATED on mental health, instead of going by what they THINK they know. Problem is, the arrogance of the average AfroAmerican prevents them from finding out the truth. I had a very religious "church every Sunday and Wednesday" sister argue with me because she thinks autism is caused by "possession". You can't tell her anything different. See, it's bad enough to be ignorant and simply not know. But when you don't know but THINK you know....that's much worse, because now no one can tell you different, especially another AfroAmerican.
  8. Troy The convictions are moral to the ones holding them. People have different moral values. Those who hold differing moral values see each other as wrong. You know what, I stand corrected! White Supremacy is a RELIGION so yes, their racist political principles ARE moral convictions because racism is their morals.
  9. I've told you all for months that racist Caucasians are PURPOSEFULLY spreading the Coronavirus among people of color, didn't I ? I told you they were going to Black and Brown areas refusing to wear masks, coughing, talking loud, and deliberately spreading it among the population. As usual, yall either IGNORE what I say or ARGUE against it. Now we have EVIDENCE of them purposely doing it: Mississippi Health Official: Maskless White People Are Responsible For Spike In COVID-19 Cases ACCORDING TO DR. THOMAS DOBBS, THE STATE HAS BEEN BEEN WORKING HARD ON SAFETY MEASURES, WHICH HAVE FOUND "MORE FERTILE GROUND IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY." Maskless white people in Mississippi are responsible for the spike in COVID-19 cases, according to Dr. Thomas Dobbs, a State Health Officer. “We’ve seen a pretty remarkable shift because early on, African Americans accounted for basically two-thirds, or 60 percent or more, of cases and deaths,” Dobbs said on CNN. “Then over the summer, and especially going into the fall, we’ve seen that shift basically upside down. Sixty-percent of new cases are caucasians and the deaths are nearing that also.” Dobbs said that the state has been been working hard on safety measures, which have found “more fertile ground in the Black community.” “As far as the case trends, we have had really pretty good uptake by a lot of folks in the Black community with masking and social distancing,” Dobbs said. “We’ve worked very aggressively to make sure that the Black community understands where the risks are and what can be done to prevent that. “And I just will say … I think big parts of the white community, especially in areas that maybe weren’t as hard-affected (previously), have not been as compliant or engaged actively with social distancing and masking. And I think that does make a difference.” According to Dobbs, there are white parents sponsoring youth events, dances, and parties. Additionally, get togethers and gathering in bars have helped to undermine the state’s efforts to control the spread of COVID-19. As of Friday, October 23, the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) reported 1,212 new COVID-19 cases and 17 additional deaths, bringing the state’s totals to 115,088 cases and 3,255 deaths, WDAM As white people continue to disproportionately endanger themselves and their neighbors, Black people continue to be most at risk from serious COVID-19 complications. https://www.essence.com/health-and-wellness/mississippi-maskless-white-people-covid-19/ Yeah. Lol, keep ignoring me "thinking" you're so smart.............
  10. Troy This is how I maintain my mental health When you talk about mental health, it seems that you are talking about it strictly from psychological terms. When I was talking about mental health I'm talking about it from both psychological AND psychiatric terms because both are very important. If you have a true psychiatric problem......as many of our people have....simply monitoring what you expose yourself to or removing yourself from social media won't help. If it would...wouldn't have been any schizophrenics or bi-polar people before the internet. but consider what would you do if there were not internet for a week, a month, a year. I'm prepared for that. This is one of the reasons I believe in storing up books and trying to get hard-copies of my favorite books. To be honest, I don't think most people SHOULD have access to the internet anyway because too many of them are using it for the wrong reasons. Like I said in another thread....... You're a mother with an autistic son who sits in the corner of the room drooling all day and all night and instead of using the internet to study the brain and chemistry to maybe come up with a cure or atleast an effective treatment to HELP him, you're hitting the clubs and downloading videos of yourself twerking... "Don't stop.... Get it get it...."
  11. Troy The person truly believes they are right, because of some moral conviction. In other words, there is something morally at stake here that overrides reality. In the case of many Covid deniers the thing being protected is personal liberty. We can not allow the government to make us wear masks, force us to get vaccinated, prevent us from buying guns to protect families. This obvious, right? Anyone who does not agree is clearly less moral than we are. Indeed, we are protecting their rights just as much as we are protecting our own. One some level I already understood this phenomenon. For example, I rarely waste my time debated religious people about their moral convictions. Don't confuse BRAINWASHING with moral convictions. Most of the people who follow Trump and those who were aggressively right-wing even before he came in office aren't "moral" people. They are brainwashed extremists. Most of these gun toting warmongering racists you see ranting and raving over wearing masks don't even believe in God let alone "morals". They are racist hypocrites.
  12. Come on now. Lol, were these sisters fair with Da' Cube?..................
  13. Del Here is an opinion. Chocolate Ice Cream is better than vanilla. It's also a FACTUAL statement. Daniel I don’t know anyone who believes the world is 6000 years old. There’s nothing in the Bible which says so. Well I do! I believe the EARTH is billions of years old, but the "world" is only around 6,000 years old. This "world" is the Caucasian's (Adamic) world....and he is only about 6,000 years old.
  14. I'm not being hyperbolic when I say..... The BEST solution is to remove ourselves from under the authority of the system of White Supremacy. Unless you do that, the problems will persist because White Supremacy CAUSED nearly all of the problems (directly or indirectly) that our people face today. (For those of you who doubt what I'm saying or think it's too simplistic.....NAME ME a problem and I'll show you how it's tied to White Supremacy). The second best thing to do is to OPPOSE White Supremacy and it's effects on our community as much as possible and that alone will improve the mental health of our people. They will be so busy understanding themselves and their environment that: 1. They will solve most of their problems WHILE in the process of doing the work. 2. Most of the problems that remain afterwards will seem so insignificant that they will be for the most part ignored. People will still have SOME problems. Problems existed before Caucasians existed, but most of them will resolve themselves. Again, I caution anyone who thinks I'm being too simplistic or don't understand mental health, the chemistry of the brain, neurotransmitters, ect...and how all of it is related to White Supremacy. Where are those of us who possess this ability/credential? How do we find you? If you're talking about me personally, I've been frequenting this site for years and people can ask me any question they like or ask me for any advice or opinion. Something tells me that the internet is going to be disrupted just like everything else in this society in the very near future for a short period of time; but while it's up and I'm still on....I can communicate. But if you mean "you" as in those who posses the ability/creditials....I've done community service work as well as community organizing for years helping the homeless, people with mental health issues, and people with criminal issues who were going in and out of jail but I'm not degreed or accredited by an institution like a psychologist, therapist, or psychiatrist. However I've helped hundreds if not thousands of people....especially when they LISTEN to me instead of the Caucasians, lol. Infact, just a couple weeks ago a young lady I was working with celebrated her 5th year off of anti-depressants after being on them for over 12 years....because she followed my advice about what to eat and some supplements to take. There are a lot of intelligent effective AfroAmericans who can help us. The problem is too many of our people have been brainwashed into putting their faith into Caucasians and those TRAINED by Caucasians to the point they no longer have any confidence in themselves and their own ability to solve their own problems. I've learned to focus on result. I don't care if you have a white coat and glasses on with a bunch of degrees behind your name. If someone has a serious problem and instead of solving it all you do is "medicate" them so that they can tolerate it...you aren't an "expert". You're just a well educated "pusher man".
  15. These are all great points and questions! I am curious to know how the racial injustices suffered today are impacting mental wellness. I noticed that as a result of such occurrences that many of the people in our communities are experiencing symptoms related to PTSD and increased anxiety and depression. There are MANY factors contributing to the PTSD and anxiety that many of our people are going through including: -The violence many see and experience at the hands of other AfroAmericans as well as racist Caucasians. -Being unable to pay rent, utility bills, and other basic needs because of financial insecurity. -Eating the wrong foods. Because eating certain foods can affect your mental health making you depressed or give you anxiety! -Coming from and living in dysfunctional families and not knowing HOW to correct them and make them functioning. However, I am not certain that we are seeking the help we may need to process what we are really facing. Most of our people are not; but this too has many reasons but the number one reason most of our people who need psychological help aren't getting it is because the help ISN'T AVAILABLE. Most of the psychologists and psychiatrists whether they are Caucasian or even African are trained BY Caucasians FOR the Caucasian mind! We are a unique people with unique issues and a unique psyche and we need professionally trained mental health experts specially trained to help US. Has the conditioning of our society, culture, and tradition desensitized us to the point that we are potentially suffering emotionally inside of suffering through everything that is going on? To a certain extent. But like many Caucasians....many of our people DON'T CARE and many have NEVER CARED. They are born psychopaths who don't have any empathy for anyone else including their own family and children. We must undersand this and recognize these people and separate them from the rest of our people who CAN be helped. Most AfroAmericans are poor and in most poor societies STRENGTH is more highly prized than being seen as soft and asking for health. So a lot of AfroAmericans don't want to appear weak by asking for help. Another problem is like I said earlier, even if they WANT the help....they can't get it. Both of them get caught with drugs or drinking while driving and the Caucasians gets a counselor and a shoulder to cry on while the AfroAmerican gets thrown in jail. If so, what can we do to help? We need BLACK psychologists and psychiatrists who specialize in the AfroAmerican pschye...because we are a unique people with a unique psyche shaped by unique experiences. We are not like any other people on this planet and we need to UNDERSTAND this and treat ourselves accordingly.
  16. Delano All beliefs are based on faith. This isn't true. Some beliefs are based upon knowledge.
  17. Most of the brown-skinned Mexicans who you see in the United States are primarily descended from THOSE people. Most of the Caucasian Mexicans descended from the Spanish are STILL in Mexico ruling in positions of wealth and power.
  18. Lol...... Bootleg or not, the quality and scenes look exactly like I remember them when I actually saw it in a theater. You know how a book often seems to be better than if they make a movie out of it? Well perhaps for me Apocalypse would be better WITHOUT the subtitles distracting me....so I can focus on the action of the movie. Anyway...... How did you like the film? Like I said, they used REAL Mayan Indian actors and actresses.
  19. One idea he talks about (although I didn't see it in the actual contract) is the idea of a 2nd Reconstruction. Realizing how well AfroAmericans did and how much progress we made during the FIRST Reconstruction, he figured a Second one is necessary.
  20. The truth is....... While the odds of a total collapse are much much better under a divisive Trump - it doesn't matter whether Trump remains in office or Biden gets in office; uless the corrupt racist SYSTEM collapses, the problems that most AfroAmericans are experiencing will not only continue but intensify. About a 45% of our people are in DENIAL and don't want to recognize how useless their participation in the national process is. "White Jesus go saaaave ussssss!" Another 45% are INDIFFRENENT and simply don't give a damn any more. They aren't even TRYING to fit in with this system or society and are out to have as much fun AS they can WHILE they can. They are the ones out looting and grabbing haberdash from departement stores every time there's a police shooting. "Give it up sucka....you ain't go eat all that!" That leaves the 10% of us left. 10% who must try to survive and make it to the "other side" of chaos and uncertainty where glory awaits us. "This entire area used to be a ghetto with huge housing projects before the Big Collapse."
  21. A lot has been said about it, especially in the Black Nationalist and Pan Africanist communities. You can read the rough draft of the contract here: https://contractwithblackamerica.us/
  22. Daniel Ok get caught up in emotions and miss nuance. You need to know what people are saying. Interpretation of actions lead to misunderstanding. No, YOU need to know what people are saying in order to avoid misunderstandings (and the way YOU reject facts, something tells me that's still not enough...lol). However I'm perceptive enough to read body language and learn patterns of behavior that helps me to relate and communicate with people to a certain degree despite the language barriers. When I was younger and frequently took cross-country trips on the Greyhound bus I used to meet woman after woman who couldn't speak ANY English but I still was able to get next to them and "snuggle up"...lol. Why? Because I understood human nature, body language, and had common sense. These things are UNIVERSAL despite race and culture. Troy What bootleg version did you watch LOL! Hmmmm.... Maybe because when I watched it I wasn't in an English speaking country. I was in Belgium when it came out. I liked it so much I saw it several times and none of them had subtitles. In the above link I provided IT doesn't have subtitles either.
  23. Daniel That’s inaccurate. It wasn’t talk radio or fox which shaped my conservative views. It was more life experience and recognizing what brought the most success in our ever changing condition. You are implying that people couldn’t reach a conservative conclusion through experimentation and investigation. There's a difference between traditional Conservatism (which still incorporates racism) and this current right-wing Trump worship that has taken over the Republican Party today. No "life experience" teaches you to ignore diseases and threaten to kidnap state officials. That's right-wing extremism. There's a difference between a Thomas Sowell and a Candace Owens. Troy Look, I get that shutting down businesses for months on end has and will wreck havoc on the personal lives of millions of people. Believe it or not, it actually HELPED a lot of people. A lot of people got laid off from jobs they absolutely HATED and got unemployment insurance PLUS an extra $600 a week. The Pandemic actually led to a lot of people getting DECENT WAGES for the first time in their lives. It's the BUSINESS OWNERS who are taking the brunt of the restrictive policies. When they thought HALF of the population was going to die they were passing out money like candy. "Whoop there it is!" Even the most conservative Republicans were willing to pass out big checks and enhanced benefits....lol. Remember we were supposed to get TWO stimulus checks??? One in April and one in May. They looked around and didn't see as many people dropping dead as they had calculated and started stalling.....lol.
  24. 1. First...DO NOT refer to my Mother or Father or any other ancestor of mine in an irreverent manner. They aren't part of this discussion so keep them OUT of the discussion! 2. Second, what the fuck are you talking about????
