  1. Tsegal You say "lock him up", but WHO is going to lock him up? Certaintly not the same group of people who put him in office in the first place. Troy The notion that anything will change, given the Democratic control of the lower house of congress is also wishful thinking. I agree with this. As long as Caucasians control the Democrat party or the Congress...little will change. They are playing a big game. Both the Democrat and Republican leadership are FRIENDS with eachother and both have the same interests. Cynique The way things stand, Trump is winning and he is gradually gaining the momentum and the advantage that will put him in good shape for 2020. All "the faithful" are talking about "god got this". Looks to me like "god" is on Trump's side. The prayers and thoughts of his supporters seem to be working. If Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg croaks, a very real possibility, Trumpism will become institutionalized and America as we know it will become a thing of the past. Babylon is upon us. When you say it looks like "god" is on Trump's side.....noting the lower case "g"....it depends on which "god" you're talking about. Personally..... Like many of Trump's supporters, I too believe God allowed Trump to get in office for a purpose that was destined. Del And two Muslims. One of those Muslim women is from Michigan. I don't know about this particular woman and her views, but generally speaking....if people think Arab and others from the Middle East gaining power in America will be of some benefit or help reduce racism.....they will be in for a rude awakening. Many of these people are MORE openly racist than White Americans.
  2. People,Slavery. Is. A. Choice,Now!.Black Poor It's funny that you write this because I was thinking this very line a few minutes ago when I was posting on the Mississippi article Delano posted. Kanye West said if your ass remained in slavery for 400 years....that was a CHOICE. I'm not sure exactly what he meant by that and in a way I thought the statement was insensitive and silly.......but...it kept me thinking about it. If you make up half or most of a population in a given city or state and you're STILL being treated like shit by another group smaller than you.....what does that say about you? It's hard for me to imagine East Asians or Arabs making up a majority of a city or state and being disenfrancised when it comes to voting, business ownership, political influence, ect...
  3. That woman featured in the photo at the top of the article showing half of her ass with her legs crossed does NOT look White to me. Or atleast she doesn't look "all White". Mississippi is about HALF AfroAmerican. If racial discrimination of AfroAmericans in a state where they make up half the population is still an issue then that would say more about THEM...and how stupid and cowardly so many of them are...than it does about how racist the state is. These AfroAmericans aren't squirrels or cows being discriminated against, they are human beings with brains. If they make up nearly a majority of the population and STILL are allow themselves to be mistreated, what more can be said of them?
  4. These are excerpts of a letter from (and a sad example of) a truly clueless AfroAmerican woman who apparently just can't understand why so many White women behave as they do. The parts in red are highlighted by me (Pioneer) because I want you to pay especially close attention to those statements and ask yourself WHY she's saying what she's saying. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ OPEN LETTER Dear White Lady, What Are You Doing to Us? I meant to introduce myself sooner, maybe invite you out for coffee or get the kids together for a play date. After all, I want to think we’re more alike than different: that, even though I am black, our challenges are more similar than not, that we both want great things for our kids. And I don’t know about you, but I got divorced two decades or so back. So, it was just me all those years. Pushing, pulling, always exhausted, and always out of time. Did I mention that we’re both probably getting paid less for the same work than a man does? I want to call you “sister” because, you know, we’re both women navigating our own complicated pile of bullshit. But, of course, that would be too familiar. ................................... I’ve been really meaning to ask you something. It’s been on my mind a good while, especially after Donald Trump won the 2016 race for president. Now that the 2018 midterms are behind us, I figure now is as good of a time as any to ask: “What’s wrong with you?” I don’t mean you personally, necessarily. I know you don’t speak for all white women in the same way that I could not possibly represent the voice all women of color. And I don’t mean all of you, of course. But I really want to understand is how you—or, anyways, so many women like you—chose a man like Donald Trump over a vastly more qualified Hillary Clinton. I want to know if you honestly thought he had the moral compass, not to mention the mental wherewithal, to be president of these United States. There may be a good number of reasons that you’re just flat out tired of the Clinton name. However, I can guarantee you that she wouldn’t have left people to suffer in Puerto Rico. The City of Flint would have gotten the federal funding it needs to completely overhaul its water systems. We certainly would not be the laughingstock of leaders from around the globe. No one would have been snickering during her address to the United Nations. Sure, Clinton won over the majority of women, “but it was white women who helped hand Trump the presidency,” according to a Washington Post national poll. When Trump says he won the women’s vote, he means you—or at least 45 percent of those of you who are college-educated, and 62 percent of those of you who do not have a college degree. Clinton won the popular vote because women of color picked up all that slack. ..................................... I know this is a lot coming from someone you hardly know. How do we live in the same neighborhoods, the same townships and cities, how do we share so many of the same struggles and still not understand the power of our collective solidarity? Unlike so many others, I am not willing to write you off and this letter isn’t about flinging shame your way. I really do hope we will stop for that cup of coffee. I sincerely hope that one day I will be able to count on you as an ally, to call you—without hesitation—my sister. Goldie Taylor _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ https://www.thedailybeast.com/dear-white-lady-what-are-you-doing-to-us?ref=scroll -That last line from her explains it all......and it's a damn shame.
  5. Lol...... Well then who's bigger and badder than that White man? Who's kicking HIS ass right now?
  6. No I can't think of a single good reason for a Black person, indeed any person, to support 45. All the Black people I know who support him are interested in maximizing their personal wealth You mean you don't consider maximizing your personal wealth a "good reason"? I think it's great to look out for the good of your community and I don't promote selling-out, but if you CAN'T change of improve the conditions that you see in your society overall then atleast the more logical conclusion is to atleast try to help yourself and your family. Ofcourse many of these Black Trump suppporters are selfish and/or confused. But can you blame them when they've supported Democrats for decades and haven't gotten a damn thing from them except being ignored, taken for granted, or forced to swallow their pride and go along with the "gay agenda"? After praying to statues, empty air, and other false gods that have given them nothing many of these people have gotten so fed up with losing that they've decided to entertaint the idea of making a pact with "the devil" in order to atleast see SOME success in thier lives. One thing you can say about Trump and the Republican party in general.....they DO look out for those who help them! If you help a Republican get power and wealth they WILL help you personally with a job, a bribe, or some other material benefit as a show of gratitude. Too many Democrats and most so-called "progressives" today believe in this "altruistic" concept that you should simply help someone or support someone without expecting anything in return. You should just do it because it's the "right thing"....or for the "good of humanity". And then they wonder why they keep losing so much power and respect even among populations like AfroAmericans, Latinos, and poor Whites that have traditionally advocated for.
  7. Del There is no "revolution", just more of the same. You have the same two political parties that have been controling politics in America for the past 150 or so years.....so should we really expect that much of a change? That's what Cynique said . What can you do. But when Cynique said that, it wasn't rhetorical. She was seriously asking because too often she DOESN'T know what to do....lol. Troy I'm going to watch more football, drink more beer, and look for more women to have uncommitted sex with -- like every red blooded American. Seriously Lol..... you mean you WEREN'T serious????? Seriously, what can you do? Well for one thing, AfroAmericans need to stop playing games that White folks invented to keep our people fooled and confused and start defining OUR OWN values and designing OUR OWN systems of governance. Many Black folks are happy because the Democrats took back the House of Representatives during the midterms as if that's REALLY going to change things for the better. When Obama was in office and Democrats had BOTH houses, how much got done for us? Politics is local and demographical. Meaning what really counts is what directly affects YOU and YOUR community. We must all be on the same page with a CLEAR agenda of what we want to accomplish as a group. For example, one of my biggest political desires is for this nation to have universal healthcare for all citizens. If a candidate for Governor or Senator or President isn't talking about that I'm not voting for them.....period. And those who DO talk about it and advocate for it....I encourage them to run for office so that I CAN vote for them. I also support the study of and implimentation of a proper REPARATIONS program for AfroAmericans as well as government sponsored work projects that will provide millions of low skilled/high wage jobs for AFRO-AMERICANS (not "minorities" or "at risk" or "inner city" people) specifically to help improve our economic stability and mobility. Again, if a candidate talks about that and tries to impliment it they have MY vote. It's about what's in it for YOU and who's looking out for YOU. Don't get in my face trying to have an hour long political discussion about White women's issues, Latino caravans marching to the border, what's happening in Iraq, or the civil rights of gays, midgets, hunch backs, hobits, and every other issue while the AfroAmerican community is disintegrating. We need to focus on what's good for US and promote candidates and politican Troy you and other AfroAmericans around the nation who are in the publishing and literature industry should have your own advocacy groups as well as frequent conferences discussing how to promote and get more money from your local and national politicians just for this issue ALONE. We're not talking about allocating money towards healthcare, or the right to vote, or education in general but securing millions of dollars from D.C. and other jurisdictions just to promote Black literature ALONE! Do you know how many millions of dollars just a relativley small group of White people who are organized around STAMP COLLECTING actually secure to promote their little nerdy projects??????

Them getting away with it isn't puzzling. That's business as usual. But the fact that so many AfroAmericans STILL don't notice, let alone care to entertain the idea that there's a clear and blaring injustice is what's puzzling. I saw an article today on CNN claiming that Trump was making "racism boring again". But when has racism ever been "boring"? Inhumane. Outrageous. Deadly. Insidious. But "boring"???? Something to yawn at and overlook??? Have our people gotten so jaded and worn down to the point that when we see racism and other forms of injustice we are no longer even disturbed by it? Has injustice been "normalized" now to the point of acceptablity?
  9. Actually I did have a facebook account but it's inactive. I was using it for promotions similar to what you're doing but when I didn't get enough traffic I abandoned it. I think it's strategic to use facebook for business purposes. I've always said that if you're making money from it then go right ahead and becareful. My issue is with people who just want to put all of their private information on it just to get attention or to gossip with nothing productive to offer or gain.
  10. Again.....experience is often a great teacher. What sounds good or looks good on paper doesn't always pan out good in the real world. Most of the time knowledge about the nature of a problem and fully accepting and understanding what you're up against is best because it's one of the key steps to actually solving the problem. However if you have a problem that you are UNABLE or UNWILLING to do anything about, sometimes it actually may be better NOT to acknowledge it. Perhaps the bliss of ignorance is better for you psychologically, if only to keep you happy until your demise.
  11. Troy Yes. There are dozens of cities with a higher murder rate that Chicago. Atlanta, New Orleans, and Baltimore to name a few....... Now granted Chicago is much bigger in population so even if their muder rate is lower percentage wise still a large NUMBER of people are still being killed and wounded. However the media's obsession with Chicago's high homicide rate is clearly racially based. As usual, it started with Fox News and IT'S constant propaganda about Chicago and how violent it was during Obama's run for president back 12 years ago....and they just kept drilling into the public about how dangerous and lawless Chicago was. Soon other news organizations began imitating Fox News and reporting every act of violence that happened there. Despite the fact that Chicago is less than 40% AfroAmerican, in the eyes of most of the nation.....Chicago = Black. So when they talk about how violent and savage Chicago is they are REALLY saying how violent and savage Black people are. It's a backdoor way of maintaining racist stereotypes and keeping the public alarmed and scared. Racism must be constantly "fed" or it will die a natural death. Chev A lot of people say that money "changes" people. But I believe money doesn't really change you as much as it exposes who you REALLY are deep down, because it allows you to express yourself and practice behaviors that you were formerly unable to do because of financial restrictions. It's kind of like people who come from very strict religious societies who come to America and go crazy when they are finally free to do what they always wanted to do in the first place. Money brings out who you really are. That's why when people criticize AfroAmericans who get rich and start marrying outside of their racist in huge numbers as changing, I say they're doing what they always wanted to do in the first place but just didn't have the money to do it. Just like that young lady on Dr. Phil's show who hates other AfroAmericans......there are thousands upon thousands of AfroAmericans who don't find other AfroAmericans attractive but love and desire to spend the rest of their life with non-African people because they feel they are better and of higher quality. Money just allows them to express these desires.

The focus shouldn't be on how heinous Bill Cosby's crimes were, because we all know and agree that they were. And he's being punished for them. The focus and argument should be over why the Caucasian men who are being accused of EVEN WORSE crimes aren't. Again, Harvey Weinstein can be HEARD ON TAPE trying to sexually assault a woman and hold her against her will yet the prosecutors can't seem to find enough evidence to charge him????? I suppose it would be rather hard to find something you aren't looking for in the first place.
  13. Del You could argue that it's better to know what the deal is. You know what...... Prior to the election of Trump I used to say that. I used to believe that it was better for a racist person to be upfront and honest with their racism so that I can know how they feel and where they're coming from. But a couple incidents that happened to me in the past as well as the election of Trump and how racists who formerly hid their racism and hatred are now feeling emboldened is starting to make me reconsider my position. You can read about slavery and segregation for decades, but none of it brings out the emotions as does being called a "nigger" to your face. Perhaps it would be better if we DID live in a more civil society where people kept their hatred and venom in check and to themselves, because when it's unleashed it seems to have an effect that influences others. They say experience is the BEST teacher. Despite all of my theories about how nice an open and honest society would be; I now see the importance and wisdom of public civility and of suppressing certain expressions. I don't want to reside in a society where people are allowed to openly practice hatred and call for the mistreatment of others because once the "genie" is let out of the bottle......oh man.
  14. Chev and he felt the need to help this story get out there Exactly. Which is why I keep asking what were his REAL intentions for putting this out. It seems that he had an ulterior motive beyond simply trying to help this young lady. I eventually became tired of watching talk shows, and avoided them like the plague. You probably had better things to do with your time.....like WORK for a living, lol. When you see shows like Jerry Springer, Maury Povich, and some of these other goofy shows that come on in the day time.....they aren't aimed at productive people who are out making a living for themseves. They are mostly aimed at unemployed people with low intelligence who are already easily influenced and are basically sitting around at home all day with little else to do but be "entertained". But the damage shows like this are actually doing to communities are long lasting. Jerry Springer and Maury Povich both host racist talk shows that feature the worst in AfroAmerican society. Jerry Springer promotes the image of AfroAmericans (especially women) fighting and being violent toward eachother and Maury Povich promotes the image of AfroAmerican men and women being sexually immoral and denying responsibilities to their children and families.
  15. "But from the company’s failure to protect millions of users’ data, to the proliferation of "fake news" and disinformation........" How could it be considered "failure" when they never intended to do it in the first place.....lol. Troy I just watched the first episode and the things Facebook are knowingly doing exceeds my worse fears. I will delete -- not just suspend -- but delete my account as a result of watching this I don't have an account with Facebook OR Twitter.
  16. Stop SYH....it only exacerbates the problem.
  17. Uh...... Do you have anything else to "contributed" (for lack of a better term to describe what you've been posting) pertaining to the SUBJECT of this thread you started?
  18. Back in the late 80s and early 90s didn't you have mobs of Caucasian youth attacking and killing AfroAmericans for simply walking through their neighborhoods? Yusuf Hawkins is one who comes to mind.
  19. Troy That combined with stand your ground laws and 45's constantly exclaiming these mass shooting would not see so bad if more people were armed. Believe it or not, he DOES have a good point. Can it be denied that if there WERE well trained and armed security guards at the door of that synagogue that they would have quickly stopped that man before he was able to off so many people? And the same thing could be said about the Black church down in South Carolina. If they had armed security, I doubt Roof would have even TRIED to do what he was able to do. When you go into Nation of Islam temples you are searched from head to toe and they almost never have incidents like this happening at their meetings. Chev And then the case you shared about the man that shot at a young school teenager in Detroit was instigated by his wife. That wasn't in Detroit. Actually it was in a wealthy suburb with a pretty large Asian and Middle Eastern population. If he had did that in Detroit they would have burned his house down that same night.....lol. But then again, the teen probably wouldn't have asked for directions there anyway because most people know better than to go to a random house in the city they don't know about knocking on doors and asking questions. I notice that when it comes to major news networks like Fox, CNN, and NBC.....unless the event they're reporting actually happens on the East or West coast where they are based and are more familiar with the municipal layouts of the area....as far as they are concerned ANYTHING that happens in a Midwestern or Southern state is reported as happening in it's largest city. They don't even bother to be accurate or give distinguish from one city to the next. Something can happen 200 miles away in southern Illinois but Fox news will report it as happening in "Chicago" or give reference as to how far it is away from Chicago as if that matters.....rather than acknowledging the city. I mention this only to illustrate how out of touch the major media is with most of the country. The are only concerned with Los Angeles, New York, and Washington D.C....who cares what's happening in Independence Missouri.
  20. Chev Ofcourse Oprah put Dr. Phil on the scene...like she made Obama popular and is actually the main person responsible for him being President. I still remember when she announced on her show her support for him by saying, "I'm feeling Barack Obama" and looked around at her audience to secure their approval. That was all it took. And just like President Obama has yet to acknowledge Oprah's making him who he is today, neither has Dr. Phil.
  21. You just can't accept that i like ChevDove and Mel because they are smart, funny and interesting. And you've also got all kinds of theories about why i don't fuss with Kalexander. In your mind, I am cultivating them so they will be on "my side". Well if it WASN'T in my mind, it's certainly in it now.....lol. Just remember woman, I'm usually 3-5 steps ahead of most of the games you play on here so the little "hidden in plain sight" exposè you did on yourself doesn't fool me one bit.
  22. No my brother, it's not getting any uglier. It's just as ugly as it HAS been. It's just that the "mask" of civility is being removed so that you can see the TRUE ever-hideous face of anti-African racism. Chev When I first read this story those two officers who were in the van when that lady drowned was EXACTLY what I thought about in comparing this case to. I believe the familiy of that lady is bringing civil action against either the officers who were transporting her or the department itself.....but no criminal action has been taken against them as far as I know. When you're in a hurricane or a life threatening situation, you don't know WHAT the hell you would do! People often times panic and do silly or reckless things that don't make sense to someone who isn't in that situation. As if it's not enough that this girl lost her baby and must suffer from that constantly wondering "what if" she had done things differently; NOW apparently someone believes she should also be locked up and have her freedom taken away to add to her pain.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6335617/Sylvester-Stallone-NOT-charged-1990-rape-two-witnesses-contradicted-womans-story.html 10-year statute of limitations??????? Wasn't Bill Cosby CONVICTED and IMPRISONED over crimes he allegedly committed DECADES ago??????? And wasn't Bill Cosby CONVICTED and IMPRISONED based on the alleged victims' testimonies alone and without witnesses????? Neely Fuller said: ~If you DO NOT understand white supremacy......what it is.....and how it works.....everything else you understand will ONLY confuse you.~ Despite the questions I raised, I'm not suprised by these decisions NOR am I confused by them. Why not? Because I UNDERSTAND.
  24. Just like the Roseanne Show (or now The Conners) ......... Dr Phil is just another attempt at conditioning of the American people of all backgrounds to normalize and standardize working class white culture and a subtle attempt to legitimize White male intolerance. This has been going on since "All In The Family" back in the 70s. In Dr. Phil, here you have a big Caucasian man with a strong southern drawl who often prides himself in being a "straight talker" and "tough lover" and at the end of the day he apparently knows how to "solve" everyone's problems. No matter what the subject of these shows are, the MAIN and constant theme is that being "politically correct" is the enemy and the big rude White man is really the "good guy". So when you see big White men being rude and politically incorrect (i.e. unapologetically racist) then instead of being repulsed by it you accept it as someone being "down home" or sincere and endearing.
  25. Yeah? Well, I got YOU figured out.....lol. I know your M.O. and I know it well.
