  1. With NYC Central Park Condos going for nearly $10 million, imagine how much Seneca Village would be worth today? Descendants of the Lyons family may know the dollar amount but they probably will never see a penny. I shared this NYT article from my account it should be open to read. Their Land Became Part of Central Park. They’re Coming Back in a Monument. A new sculpture will honor the Lyons family, black activists and property owners who once lived in Seneca Village, a community destroyed by the creation of the park. A double ambrotype portrait of Albro and Mary Joseph Lyons. The city is planning a monument depicting them, along with their daughter Maritcha, in Central Park.Credit...Smith Collection/Gado, via Getty Images Also, check out the book Black Gotham |A Family History of African Americans in Nineteenth-Century New York City  by Carla L. Peterson, "an academic who wrote a book on investigating her own family history. Dr. Peterson is a great-grand-niece of Maritcha Lyons."
  2. @Pioneer1 Ayiti does suffer from spiritual confusion it’s not a case of serving two masters the government is so corrupt the powers that be be won’t let them I mean they tried as Ayiti the Haitians nation are meant to rule by a king they tried that they assassinate him he was assassinated by a mullato who. Hated blacks and call himself French so theirs a lot of agents in Haiti that won’t let the country prosper. They change the constitution and Duvalier tried to do it turn they exile his son and changed the constitution again but everything will that are sealed will be revealed as we are approaching revelation or age of information nothing can’t stay they can only be hidden for a time and a period of time Gods words remain true as it’s stil being unfold from our very eyes.

Mel Hopkins Problem is.....when you agree with me too much....you make @Cynique angry, lol. All of a sudden she stops liking your posts. Then the conversations get short and cold. ...leaving you scratching your head as to WTH???? LOL
  4. Yep. After 12 years of war, Haiti kicked the French in the azz. For that effort, Haiti has endured the following: 1) politically unstable 2) ostracized by the international community 3) owes a perpetual debt to France I applaud black countries all over the world for gaining their independence. But, I fault them for not banding together in an ongoing effort to overthrow white supremacy. Instead, most independent black countries become politically corrupt, destabilized and dependent on white supremacy for everything from infrastructure building (roads, bridges, highways, tunnels, etc.), water reclamation, defense, food, clothing, etc. Haiti and Jamaica are just two examples of the French and British leaving respectively but they still have a stranglehold on them. In other words, white folks still run those countries with a remote control. Interestingly, those countries are rich in resources but still considered poor. Africa, the 2nd largest and 2nd most populated continent on the planet has a wealth of natural resources but still does not have a seat at the table of and is heavily dependent on the G8 (Group of 8). The G8 consists of the United States, European Union, Germany, Italy, Russia, France, Canada and Japan. They control everything on the planet. Despite natural resources, advances in tecnnology and globalization, non-white folks are the most populous on the Earth but still live under the thumb of white supremacy. 😎
  5. Since I have divorced the black race, i no longer feel I have to perpetuate the narrative about Africa's great civilization, a lore that African Americans have been relegated to take pride in in order to bolster their morale and maintain their self-esteem. But today, black peoples world wide are pretty much at the bottom of the totem pole. It's true that African-Americans are descended from kings and great warriors whose science and art and wisdom was stolen and co-opted by the Greeks and Romans. And later, the African continent was pillaged and stripped of its resources bringing about the fall of these great empires. This is the history that Africa and its diaspora clings to. It is a sacred legacy but it is an incomplete one. Possibly because the big picture would support white supremacy. White Western man conquered the black race because of superior weaponry, superior armies, superior fleets - and a calculating left brain intelligence that spawned a cruel capacity for annihilating foes. Spiritually-oriented blacks didn't have a chance against this Caucasian breed of homo sapiens. Might made right and white supremacy never relinquished its dominance. Nevertheless, African Americans, who are now a hybrid species, did OK, all things considered. They have a remarkable history which they carved on their own in this country. And over the centuries they have managed to endure, survive - and individually thrive. But the specter of white supremacy won't go away. There are, however, cracks in its pillars.
  6. Re: https://www.theroot.com/our-kind-of-people-is-a-treasure-trove-of-good-writing-1847768924 IMO, regarding Lee Daniels' TV series on Fox called Our Kind of People, the series sucks. It's contrived erratic dialogue that drives the convoluted story line and disjointed interaction between skin color-sensitive upper-crusters and wannabees, appears to make them all come across as phony unrealistic achievers. Nearly the entire cast looks like it was assembled to mimic a geographically incorrect fake Redbone-fluid high society, burdened by the insecurity of their own existence and racial identity. Being or being perceived or classified as black, looks like it is preventing nearly the entire cast from being themselves. In closing, as it stands right now, the show is a bust and it's not worth the time it takes to literally open one's eyes.
  7. Well, it certainly appears (to this AALBC participant) that they've got their hooks deep in your head. One thing about the brainwashed, they can't separate the gray matter from the dirty water. If you don't understand that you've been gaslit by the Democrats, the RINOs, the Left, the CCP, the Oligarchs, the Globalists, the Mainstream Media and the like, then there's little value in trying to mature this exchange. I did not resume engaging in discussions on these boards for the fun of it; I decided to see what was going on and perhaps bring some folks around to using their situational awareness skills to pay more attention to the current political and social arenas. When you don't pay attention, you don't know what you've lost until it's gone. In your case, I'll spare my fingers a few extra keystrokes on this thread. P.s., Get a better (honest) results map, you're going to need it. And, if you think Joe Biden got 81 million votes and the guy can't even fill up a 7-Eleven, then I've got some prime oceanfront real estate for you in Topeka, Kansas, for sale at a discount. Black people should follow their own mind.
  8. Understood, Mzuri. Yes, I was expecting more too, but was very disappointed to see the same tired playbook repeat itself. Lee Daniels, Tyler Perry, Spike Lee and the rest of them have the capacity to step out of the mold and exercise bold black intellect. Instead, they fall back to the position of feeding eager-to-learn hungry black minds with minstrel-like performances and insulting visual and emotional caricatures and actions that further dehumanize the potential value that black America has to offer and has previously delivered. As a supplemental reference, black Hollywood is chronically being used and manipulated by an entertainment industry oligarchy that could care less about the challenges of a still struggling black America, or any other group for that matter. Sadly, black Hollywood itself, seems to consist mostly of people who wouldn’t be caught dead shaking the hand of the average Joe or Jane - - - e.g., having lunch with you would definitely be out of the question. "n8gglets"... You ought to trademark that. On spot.
  9. These n8gglets have something in common as members of the alphabet soup community. They are heavily backed by big money. As a result, they are given the green light to produce high fructose corn syrup content aimed at black folks that is nothing more than ocular diabetes. 😎
  10. @Pioneer1 democracy is bullshit there is no democratic government it’s an illusion for example they say democracy is when u electing a president by voting him right so okay we vote for a president every yell democracy Who nominate the supreme judges in the battle for abortion rights right now how come the people don’t decide if it should be right or wrong how come the people don’t decide anything else but only by those whom we appointed to make decisions for us. But. Anyways the world is meant to be under kingship that’s why it says thy kingdom come only kings rules if u understand only king rules then you know who the rulers of the world is for now…. Til the appointed time
  11. Yeah bro, that level of pungent toxicity would have led me to reconsider my food order in that establishment.😁 😎
  12. Rev Haitians nation are meant to rule by a king they tried that they assassinate him he was assassinated by a mullato who. Hated blacks and call himself French so theirs a lot of agents in Haiti that won’t let the country prosper. You're right. Ayiti is was meant to be ran by a King.....as are most Black nations. Black nations don't fare well under "Democracy'....our societies are ran better under the guidance of a righteous and strong leader. One of the reasons the West are going around trying to spread "Democracy" all over the planet is because they KNOW that it doesn't work and leads to chaos and instability in these nations. So they promote it.
  13. The monument to the Lyons will be a very nice gesture. Thanks to the folks who "dug up" their history as it relates to Central Park. Land has been a primary source of white wealth in America as over a century or so they have gotten paid for owning acres of dirt when public and private developers decide to build any and everything. Folks hit the powerball when Wal-Mart decides to buid a store in the spot where their living room or kitchen currently resides. Whenever I hear black folks talk about their family owning land, my 1st question is always whether or not it's producing passive income. Nope. The land is usually tied up in a warped form of family politics or litigation leading to stagnation as an investment. Yeah, when I think about the fortune the Lyons family does not have in relation to the value of land in New York City, I can only shake my head because I know that wealth has been stolen. 😎

See I told you in one of those threads way back - that we share the same thoughts some time...and I thought the same about this one too. I think the genuflection is for the lives lost, not the flag.

I can't get behind all of that kneeling. Kneeling before the U.S. flag is showing more respect for it than standing, in my opinion. 🙄 Look at it! This looks like MORE of a show of respect...even reverence...than standing! I think it's a backwards tactic. I heard some White dude convinced Colin to start taking a knee instead of walking off the field. He was gaslighted, and ended up falling for the Ole Okey-Doke. And now a lot of other Black athletes have been duped into doing the same thing. You got a whole row of Negroes on their knees bowing to the flag now....following in behind Colin. Personally, I'd just stand still and have my mind elsewhere. No need to make a spectacle of myself. Kneeling, standing , squatting, jogging in place.....NONE of it will stop police brutality anyway.
  16. Mel, to be clear, I want 20 candidates on the ballot. 😁 When I show up at the poll to cast my vote, I only two choices of POTUS unless i decide to write-in someone else. You're absolutely right. It starts with dismantling the two horse race. We might not need the electoral college either. In a free and fair election, computers are capable of counting the popular vote and declaring a winner. 😎
  17. Interesting perspective. The show is not something I would watch but I know folks who are tuned in and enjoying it. Based on your description of the show, i'm not surprised that some black folks would dig it. Escapism under the guise of entertainment. 😎
  18. Absolutely. As human beings, we have an obligation to take care of each other. There should not be winners and losers when it comes to quality healthcare especially in country as wealthy as America. The US has the strongest defense system on the planet. There is no reason that oru heatlhcare system shouldn't be the same way. A free and robust healthcare system would provide millions of well paying jobs from the construction of medical facilities and clinics throughout the country to the doctors, nurses, technicians and maintenance staff working in them. The ancillary businesses and service providers would benefit too. Why isn't such the case? Special interest groups and lobbyists. They work on behalf of big businesses (pharmaceutical industry) to insure that they get paid. A small group of people controlling a majority of the wealth. The political debates are a smoke screen and diversion (juggling balls in their air). Watch their hands. Always follow the money. 😎
  19. @Pioneer1 Yep... 😂 You were correct ... This argument is vote for republican or make sure your vote doesn't count in the presidential election. Here we go again.
  20. @Mel HopkinsAnother interesting contribution from you!
  21. White man is nothing but savages why would anyone chose beast over humanity @nels how could even say such a thing if the black mind should stop looking at life through prism of race au contraire it’s the white mind that’s looking at thing through race Africans embraced them and they turn around and devour them. Now you said if black person are offended by the confederate flag they have a lot to learn nope it’s you little lesson if a dog ever bite you every time u look at a dog you will have that memory that fear that feeling just saying symbols are interpreted different by different people you don’t know what anyone history is. But I know one thing the world were subjugated by white yet we do not hate them we demanding equal right lol that even sounds stupid. We were equal amongst our peers that idea of inferiority didn’t even comes to our head till the interaction with the white man
  22. FB allows me to communicate with people around the world for Free. Sometimes I find a post that is interesting. It has put me in contact with many Astrologers. A few of whom I would not have otherwise met. In addition some of the Astrology post are so annoying that motivate me to learn something. It also has been a good place for me to test astrological techniques. I have on a few occasion learned something I hadn't known about or had a a good exchange. It's just like a cafeteria if you don't excercise restraint you will wind up feeling ill. Every situation is an exchange, as long as the currency and rate of exchange are valuable I will interact. @Cynique the new Physics sound like the old mystics. The experimenter isn't just an observer, they are a participant in creating the outcome.
  23. I go on FaceBook regularly. Why? Because it is a social venue. For instance: it allows me to keep up with my cousins all around the country, On there, I also find out about the deaths of people in my hometown and am apprised of their funeral arrangements, while the obituaries "celebrating their lives" are subsequently posted by their families. I have the choice of looking at or scrolling past the plethora of photos posted by my living friends "leading their best lives", and some are even worth looking at. I belong to my high school's alumni association, a group that is facilitated by FB and, like a bulletin board, FB keeps me up to date on local civic events. i also enjoy its funny memes and appreciate the many special interests groups it sponsors, 2 of which have united me with like-minded people curious about Pantheism, and Quantum Physics, a subject I am fascinated with. I no longer engage right wing Retrumpicans on forums because, as much as i like to argue, that eventually got repetitive and futile so I took my opinions and moved on, denying FB the chance to do its algorithm thing My point is, is that there's more to life than politics and racism. There's community and congeniality, things that provide an escape from the stress and tumult of the real world. For a lot of folks, that's the obvious appeal of FaceBook. It is what it is. You don't have to be an air head to go on there! You just have to keep things in perspective. This is a Capitalistic country. Money and power prevail. If you ain't got it, tough shit. Do the best you can.
  24. Rev Ok chief..... It's your world. Sorry to bother you.
  25. @Mel Hopkins let me look into a "Yep" button. ROTFLMBAO! Basically. The question is unanswerable. But, I believe Bernie Saunders could have made a real difference. Given how easily he was cast aside by the Democratic party in favor of a Biden/Harris ticket -- who no one was excited about -- I can only assume this was because Bernie was going work for the people as opposed to the plantocracy the way Obama did. Today, perhaps for the life of the Union, it is virtually guaranteed that anyone with the wherewithal to get into the office of the presidency does not truly represent the people -- especially the Black ones. The interests of the wealthy are ALWAYS taken care of, that is why wealth inequality -- even between white people -- continues to grow.
  26. @MzuriI Know Right! This case put the spotlight on many other eminent domain landgrabs from Black Americans. The local media here in GA even resurfaced how ( haunted )Lake Lanier was actually a community (Oscarville, GA) of Black Americans run out of their homes. The land was flooded, cemetery, fences many remnants of the what the town looked liked remains but underwater.
  27. Here in the US, folks are mainly divided into two camps politically...Democrat or Republican (GOP). On the surface it looks like the two parties have different platforms (liberal or conservative). Yet, they share the same ideology which is the maintenance of white supremacy. Both parties are juggling balls i.e. platform issues. While folks are pre-occupied with the balls in the air, they're not watching the sleight of hand tricks happening below. i've never been under the illusion that either party has ever given a d8mn about the peple. Both parties make decisions based on what's good for business. That is the business of maintaining white supremacy. Regardless of who occupies the White House, they are two sides of the same coin. Follow the money. POTUS PJB (Papa Joe Biden) is the flip side of the same coin once occupied by Agent Orange. Different agenda. Same paymasters. 😎
  28. Getting the truth is a matter of asking the *right* questions. Find the most qualified people capable of providing answers backed by evidence as necessary to your questions. 😎
  29. Yes, Joe Biden has indeed repeatedly stuck his finger right in the eye(s) of black America and the country as a whole for many many decades. Until liberal black America in particular, jettisons the mainstream media, the deep state and the blame racism mentality, things are not going to get any better.
  30. Well I did have my fingers crossed. Anyway, I had to refresh my memory on the President’s record so far - I haven’t seen anything he’s done except clean up the ish left by the last administration. This is what the democrats do for the first two years of their administration - especially after the GOP raids the treasury, pass laws for their cronies and reduce taxes on the wealthy. Here’s a list of President Biden’s signed executive orders. He even issued an EO for the Human Rights crisis in Ethiopia - - Some of the bills he’s signed into law overturn 45’s harmful laws against the environment and working class. I like that he overturned 45’s Usury law and put the cap back on how much payday lenders can charge “the poors”. - those exorbitant interest rates usually hurt black communities the most. And he also overturned a Trump law that made it easier for employers to retaliate against workers who filed EEOC claims - that is direct win for the black community. I know because I once had to file a claim against my television station. So… it would be interesting to learn who we should be checking out next.
  31. Mel Hopkins Lol....if I were you I wouldn't hold my breath for his list. Mzuri In 2020 Black America had a choice between BEEL-ZEBUB (the prince of demons) or SATAN himself...lol. Now which one would YOU have chosen? The chief demon or Satan HIMSELF? I personally didn't vote for EITHER Trump or Biden, because I didn't trust either one.
  32. I'm glad to see that our brother is up on his feet and seems to be recovering. However I wonder does he feel like living, and going on? Or is he doing it for his children? A lot of people when they are severely injured don't want to keep on living and would rather just die than live in that condition. It's often the loved ones around them that keep them holding on.
