  1. Trump stays in the new because he is news. He is still the de facto leader of the Republican party. No poitical pundits have written him off as a 2024 presidential candidate. Office seekers still seek his endorsement. The right wing lunatic fringe is alive and well, and they are who perpetuate his relevancy. His appearance at rallies still draw crowds also. He is a figure to be reckoned with and has yet to be dethroned. Hate him, but don't write him off.
  2. Genius is having exceptional intellectual ability, creative productivity, imagination and originality to the extent of being able to achieve new discoveries or advance knowledge. A part of genius is having the ability to recognize or envision patterns, shapes and concepts in order to produce tangible results. 😎
  3. Your twice-impeached heroic dude just growled that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi "was always causing trouble." Yeah, well, that's what one does when they believe in Free and Fair Elections and of course, Democracy. They defend such things. Good thing you're not in charge, Trump. And it's becoming clear that more and more voters are finally beginning to recognize you're nothing but a liar and a fraud. So, you can go back to playing bad golf with your conscience-less pals and whispering to any Russian agent within earshot to send WNBA star to Siberia because "she's spoiled and makes a lot of money." By the way, Lord Dampnut, what do you think of Paul Whelan? You're only the second POTUS to ever leave the Oval Office with less people working than when you first entered. But we know, we know, we know. It's Obama's fault.
  4. 1 point
How could you think that a disgruntled loser who encouraged a mob of morons to bring down his vice president is a better man. Because that never happened. The reason for the riots was to stop the challenge to the electoral votes 🗳. That got interrupted. Obviously you aren’t aware of the Trump vs Bush/Cheney rivalry. Why would you expect anything less from the father of a woman feuding with Trump. It’s an orchestrated process to erode Trump support.
  5. Thank you. I been working on different projects.
  6. Still true. Right now, they are trying to pass a bill that will put more money into infrastructure improvements. The bill has been carved up from what POTUS originally had in mind. I guess they'll take whatever they can get at this point considering the political gridlock. 😎
  7. Here we are over 50 years later and the conditions that bred cats like the late Claude Brown remain unchanged. Voices like his are still necessary. It takes black folks who've lived both sides of the struggle to reach the younger generation and save them from becoming wayward and/or put them on a different path. A social worker on a salary doesn't have it. A message is better received when the listener either feels and/or believes the messenger shares a similar background and experience. In other words, knuckleheads rarely listen to squares and nerds. That's why Hip-Hop music is so powerful. Where folks might not be inclined to pick up a book, they will listen to music. Too bad not enough of those artists use their voices to teach and uplift the younger generation either.😎
  8. He raised a lot of money quickly. And Senators want access to his fundraising ability.
  9. When white women started having babies the term became single mothers.
  10. I'm sure the CEO and his team will find a way to absorb profit losses whether it is through cross-collateralization and/or cost-cutting and rebranding under-performing outlets. I don't believe they are hemorrhaging cash to the point of having to take drastic measures. 😎
  11. If I were CEO of The Discovery Channel I would focus over 75% of the programming on the ancient civilizations of Africa and the Americas.
  12. it is prudent to know the laws when opening any type of business including a marijuana dispensary. Black folks will continue getting hemmed up for selling marijuana on the street because that is a still a criminal offense. 😎
  13. OK @Pioneer1 wake me when when the feds start charging little old Black ladies for their medicinal weed. Again, this is not a law that the feds are going to enforce. Now if you get caught moving serious weight from on state to another with intent to illegally distribute that is another story. 'Sides the Feds have many other tools with which to jam a brother up.
  14. Modern day version of ending Prohibition at the state level. When white folks decided marijuana should be legalized, states jumped onboard. Still, it's important to remember that there are state laws and Federal laws. We live in the United States of America. Each of the 50 states has a right to make its own laws. Federal laws govern the land. Medicinal marijuana may be legal in Washington or Colorado. But, if someone commits a federal offense and gets caught with it, that's another charge. IOW, marijuana is still illegal according to the federal government. It doesn't care what your doctor said.🤣😎
  15. Who are the Fed’s busting for personal use of marijuana?
