  1. @Troy...thanks for acknowledging some of our elders, brothas & sistas who have departed the rock. We can add Sly Stone, D'Angelo & Angie Stone to the 2025 list.
  2. Yep. I heard they took his weapon & shot him 9 times afterwards because the border patrol agent feared for his life. White folks from Minnesota to Ukraine are just showing how easily they are willing to kill anybody.
  3. Right. Back in the day, I remember when Jamaican dudes didn't have too much love for their AfroAmerican brothas. The tension was high and killings were real. It has calmed down over time. There's still not a solid alliance between AfroAmericans and Black Americans.
  4. Today, another ICE protester shot & killed in MN. Killed by a border patrol agent.
  5. Producing a Black-owned social media website is relatively easy. Getting Black foks to use it is the bigger challenge.
  6. Their freedom will last for eternity if they choose death.
  7. I'm thinking if brotha @richardmurray had his own country, the government would be responsible for everything from production and manufacturing to healthcare. Maybe entertainment would be free market.
  8. Lone major US automaker as you asked. It is the white man's system. Of course, he's going to do whatever makes it favorable to him.
  9. Sure. There were a few non-Black riders. I don't recall any Brown, Red or Yellow though. To each their own. It's not about everyone in the group not giving a f8ck about us. The majority is enough.
  10. I believe Da Bears will be even better next season especially if the team stays healthy.
  11. We already know historically, other groups of people didn't speak up for and/or support FBA/AfroAmericans in our struggles past to present. Surely, FBA/AfroAmericans can provide a healthy dose of moral support from the sidelines in silence. Otherwise, there's no need in FBA/AfroAmericans putting on capes for people who don't give a f8ck about us.
  12. https://dailycitizen.focusonthefamily.com/doj-arrests-three-radicals-who-organized-st-paul-church-disruption/ Exhibit A for why Black folks need to stay out this issue. Two Black women supposedly Black Lives Matter and one white man (DaWokeFarmer) were arrested by DOJ for organizing the MN church protest. Let the illegal immigrantams and undocument workers fight their own battles. Same goes for the infighting among white folks.
  13. IMO, Ford could never have been the lone US automaker. Even if the federal government had not bailed out the auto industry, venture capitalists would have allowed those companies to go into bankruptcy or become insolvent. Then, capitalists would have swooped in and picked the bones and built new automakers. Lee Iaccoca resurrected Chrysler back in the 1980s. Daimler-Mercedes gave Chrysler a life in the late 1990s. Fiat and Stellantis have kept Chrysler afloat. Capitalism and the free market ultimately decide if/when companies are allowed to go belly up totally.
  14. Understood. I claim this raggedy azz country warts and all as my home (state) because it is my birthplace and many generations of my ancestors too. Despite my travels, this place has always been my home. I will die and have my ashes scattered here in the USA too. In the meantime, I'll continue calling balls and strikes especially as it relates to the betterment of FBA/AfroAmericans and the system of racism white supremacy.
  15. Bro...that's hilarious especially putting that NF Jr. baritone voice on it.
  16. I'll let @richardmurray answer the question for himself. But, I've known people who reside in the United States but did not claim citizenship here. They considered themselves some type of aboriginals. They didn't want to pay taxes. Couldn't get IDs. Needless to type, they did not work real jobs either. That whole set-up is great for the person who 1) lives off someone else or 2) does not have real world responsibilities or 3) financially independent.
  17. Bummer that you have to patronize that establishment at all. Unfortunate reminder that Latinos just like other non-FBA/AfroAmericans have never really been down with us. No shade to any non-FBA/AfroAmericans lurking around here. Personally, I chop it all with all types of people. I'm not in a FBA/AfroAmerican bubble or silo. But, I do keep a bean with my folks outside the tribe. I have zero problems letting non-FBA/AfroAmericans know where I stand as it relates to our differences and calling out BS. Due to the way I communicate in the real world...they get it.
  18. We do not have enough data to determine how many sistaz are 1) self-hating and/or 2) dying their hair different colors. IMO, it's no different from these young folks covering themselves in tattoos. Hair dyes and body ink seem to be their thing.
  19. There is no money in cures so it will be repressed by any means necessary. To that end, I wonder how much money was paid to the Nation of Islam to either 1) stop making that treatment or 2) turn it over into what eventually became the HIV cocktail.
  20. Interesting. The medical & pharmaceutical industries definitely aren't willing to let that outta the bag.
  21. Don Lemon showed up as a journalist and now they are trying to make his Black azz the face of it and have DOJ put charges on him. Of course, Don is so off code, he has no idea he's supposed to stay out of that situation.
  22. Dude looks like he could be Diddy's grand-daddy.
  23. ICE protesters showed up in a MN church. Unfortunately, the coverage focused on the handful of Black folks who were among them. FBA/AfroAmericans have been relatively silent on conflicts abroad and domestic issues of little to no concern for us. IMO, FBA/AfroAmericans are better served minding our own business in dealing with the issues of racism white supremacy that hurt, harm and affect us. The late Dick Gregory provided prophetic advice as it relates to how FBA/AfroAmericans should respond to these issues. Stay out of it.
  24. Of course, I'm not surprised by your opinion/position. However, let it also be stated that English is the most spoken language in the world. That is not a lie or false praise or misrepresentation. It is a fact. English is the language that allows us to communicate on this forum.
  25. Noah Webster did something i.e. fufilled a need. He codified the meaning of words. Black folks are free to do the same thing if they want to preserve gullah, patois, ebonics or any other language & words.
