  1. True. Interestingly, folks sentenced to a life in prison or death row still have a desire to live.
  2. https://www.foxnews.com/world/who-barbecue-gang-leader-wreaking-havoc-haiti @Pioneer1, dysfunctional Black folks arent unique to the USA. All h8ll is breaking lose in Haiti. The de facto dude in charge calls himself Barbecue. Last week, the wife of President Jovenel Moïse was charged along with others in his 2021 assassination. A country run by Black folks can't get right. Of course, foreigners interfere in their affairs but there's no shortage of greed and corruption among the Haitian people too.
  3. Exterminating enemies and instilling fear. Whether intentional or not, Hamas declared war when they killed !,500 Israelis. Israel is finishing the war Hamas started.
  4. Bummer. Hopefully pain relievers are helping in the battle. In a parallel world, you would have 1) ordered groceries online and had delivery or 2) wrote out a list and sent one of the great-grand-chil'ren to the grocery store. That's neither here or there because the reality is a knee injury. Enjoy cooking and/or eating whatever you bought from the store. Most importantly, rest and recuperate.
  5. I watched the SOTU address. POTUS PJB accounted well for himself to those concerned about his age. At times POTUS PJB did sound like an old geezer yelling at kids to stay off his lawn. He has this way of spurting out words in rapid-fire succession as if he needs to run to the bathroom but wants to make a point first. POTUS PJB didn't offer Black voters anything new. He did reassure us that Ukraine and Israel will continue getting our money. Both POTUS PJB and If Orange Julius have secured their party nominations. Rematch of 2020 in November. Rock 'em Sock 'em robots between two old geezers. One stammers. One stinks supposedly. Let's get it over with already.
  6. The intent to kill other people would be a declaration of war against them.
  7. It's a new word Merriam-Webster is thinking about adding to the dictionary. They're also considering prefixes uni-, tri-, quadri-, centi-, sexti-, septi-, octi- and nani-.
  8. Right. Angry folks stirred up by a zealot or media or some combination of both. No goal. Just an airing of grievances against others.
  9. Agreed. Since I showed up on this forum, I've mentioned severally that AfroAmericans should already have a solid economic infrastructure which would include everything required to survive. Being a gross consumer and non-producer is detrimental. I'm inclined to think AfroAmericans don't see the necessity of having our own sh8t. Either way, it's a sad reality. I don't understand why anybody enables or communicates with lazy azz men or women. I have zero bandwidth for useless people.
  10. Most AfroAmericans aren't hard-headed. If/when *can't get right* n8gglets are encountered, it doesn't make much sense trying to explain anything to them.
  11. There was a time that prisoners could get word back to the streets via phone calls and kites (letters). Most lifers are spending 23 hours in a cell and 1 hour of recreation by themselves. The movie version of prisoners as Trustees doesn't really exist anymore.
  12. I was referring to China as a military adversary. Of course, having access to personal data on Americans helps with cyber attacks on our systems.
  13. TikTok is majority owned by ByteDance which is a Chinese company. As China is seen as the greatest adversary besides Russia, there's consensus among American elected officials to be in lockstep against them. However, a number of US investors are making money from TikTok so it remains to be seen if there will truly be a USA ban of the platform if it doesn't divest Chinese interest.
  14. I'm not totally convinced that Black or Brown Latinos truly side with FBA/ADOS. In fact, I believe they want to replace FBA/ADOS in the populace. Black/Brown Latinos are infiltrating city politics. They can fight for themselves.
  15. I voted no. I don't think FBA/ADOS elected officials or Black people should be putting on the cape when it comes to defending other groups of people. The Latino community has more than enough representation throughout NYC to fight for themselves in pushing a counter narrative against the white media regarding their criminalization.
  16. The civil war I'm referring to would be mass shootings, riots and insurrections happening in multiple places at the same time. As long as white folks aren't agitated January 6th style, the status quo will remain. We'll get the monthly mass shootings. No civil war though.
  17. Whoever they have grievance with would be targets. Again, I hope it never happens.
  18. Watched the Forbes interview enough to know that it mentioned Dr. West has made about $15 million over 30 years. Detailed how his bread was made and lost. Running for POTUS will pull the whole portfolio out of the closet.
  19. Facts. They've got the most guns.
  20. Life without the possibly of parole is usually given to the most serious offenders. Instead of becoming a trustee or seeking higher privilege inside the prison those individuals should be trying to discourage others from coming there.
  21. So many factors. It depends on how many books sold and syndication rights to any TV or radio programs. If Dr. West isn't an in-demand public speaker, I cannot think of anything else he's done that would translate into millions of dollars. Tavis did get caught up in some misconduct allegations and ended up having to pay PBS in their counter lawsuit. I don't recall Tavis being seriously linked to any women nor Puffy.
  22. AfroAmericans haven't had nearly as much time as those groups of people. On the flip side, those same groups of people aren't too much better off than AfroAmericans now. The Roman empire collapsed. Ethiopians are still feeling their country. Egypt is not the crown jewel of North Africa, southeast Asia or the Middle East. I'm a huge proponent that AfroAmericans should be self-sufficient. However, there's also the belief that one doesn't have to produce something they can afford to buy. That's why most folks shop in grocery stores instead of growing their own food. I know AfroAmericans can produce everything we consume if it was necessary. There's no shortage of very smart people among us.
  23. Agreed. The media definitely generates a lot of money stirring up divisions and using it as source material. Hopefully, the media won't get folks agitated to the point of grabbing their guns and causing a nationwide riot. I remember back in 1908 when Jack Johnson beat up Jim Jeffries to win the heavyweight. It drove white folks crazy.
  24. Fair enough. AfroAmerican history is unique. AfroAmerican wealth based on consumerism is significant but it hasn't been aggregated into allowing us to exercise real power. Thanks. I could add that fact to my post but @Pioneer1 doesn't seem to like small numbers where hundreds are thousands and thousands are millions and millions are billions.
  25. It would be similar to the insurrection. Started by folks who believe their country is being overrun by others. I hope you're right. The country has been divided without all h8ll breaking loose.
