  1. I have no idea of where the man is from nor anything about his racial mix. I do know he either put his mustache on crooked or cut it unevenly.
  2. Agreed. This could flip racism upside down. Especially when grandparents will have a harder time denying their mixed grand chilluns.
  3. The white man murdered a few cops and injured others. He killed a dog. That would have been an automatic death sentence at the hands of the police for a non-white person. It doesn't make sense to chase someone for a routine traffic stop. Either meet up with them back at the house or mail a citation. At least that's what they would do in Mayberry USA.
  4. The police force is *supposed* to be a reflection of the community it has sworn to protect and serve. However, it's by design that white cops are policing black communities. That's a failure of black leadership and black elected officials in those areas. Law enforcement is one of the issues that should be codified into an agenda and considered when black folks are voting for politicians and other elected officials in their cities.
  5. @Pioneer1, you already know your double-standard is against code. The power move would be for black folks to close ranks and procreate the way Hispanics do. A deep, tight-knit black community could make major power moves.
  6. Yeah. When I heard the news this morning...my 1st thought was here we go again. The double-standard in the way police officers and race soldiers operate is very real. Yet, black folks should KNOW this by now. I don't understand why n8gglets are running from a routine traffic stop. Riding dirty, regardless of whether one has warrants or weapons, that sh8t isn't going to end well especially to jump out and flee. Just put that belly on the ground with hands locked behind the head. Live to see another day even if it's locked up...behind bars. It's not worth getting shot up and ending up in the cemetery with pictures and poems on T-shirts.
  7. It's not complicated. Most of it comes down to seizing opportunities and luck. Wall Street is in the business of gambling with other people's money. You're right about safe investments. But, the best bet is to know people who already have money and do what they do. The catch is very few folks with short money can access the places and people who have real money. Anyone who was closely associated with a Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos when they were on the rise is at least a millionaire or better. Real estate is a good investment providing that one has the capital to buy undervalued or distressed properties and rent out or flip them for profit. *Making* money is relatively easy to do if one focuses on it. Requires knowledge and discipline. Unfortunately, most people focus on making just enough money to spend it...consumerism.
  8. @Pioneer1, that's why my position has always been that both political parties are sides two sides of the same coin. Neither party gives a f8ck about black folks. We vote for the lesser of two evils but it's really just an exercise until we come up with an agenda to which politicians can be held accountable. Republicans are gangsta in pushing their agenda through from protecting gun rights to putting three (3) conservative Justices on the SCOTUS. They're not done in rolling America back to the early 1900s. Democrats are spineless and weak. They make excuses while kicking the same can down the street. They do a whole lotta *talking* without doing much to forward their agenda and/or codifying rights into law. But, their solution to solving problems is to elect more Democrats. Case in point...POTUS could have issued executive orders to offset overturning Roe v Wade. The catch is that he's a Catholic i.e. anti-abortion. He doesn't really care about a woman's right to choose. Sometimes, I wish I could bury my head in the sand and be oblivious to politics and world affairs. Unfortunately, my intellectual curiosity won't allow me to ignore this dumb sh8t. Thankfully, music is my opiate. I can sit down and play my electric piano and tune out the foolishness until I'm ready to re-engage in information acquisition.
  9. Some people resent intelligence. Smart people are often mocked, ridiculed and cast aside until problems need to be solved ansd/or sh8t hits the fan. Ignorance and stupidity appeals especially to people those who can identify with it. Former POTUS 45 is a carnival barker but he's a hero to a large number pf people who think like and believe in him.
  10. The GOP promise of less government, curtailing illegal immigration, free market enterprise, gun rights and rolling America back to a time before the 1950s appeals to some black folks, poor whites and other minorities too.
  11. There's no shortage of white thugs and criminals running around. I doubt they're cyborgs so they have losers and idiots, er, moms and dads too.
  12. Black folks have shown that we know how to vote. It needs to move from a symbolic gesture to a results-oriented action revolving around a real agenda.
  13. Cops take an oath to serve and protect people. It doesn't give them a right to harm, injure, maim or murder them.
  14. Police exist solely to protect and secure the interests of white supremacy in accordance with its laws. There's no level playing field.
  15. All SCOTUS Justices are chosen based on race and gender. Look at their pictures.
  16. Black folks are not enslaved by our own people in any way, shape or form. Poverty, crime and violence are by-products of the system of white supremacy.
  17. Black folks have a sense of style and beauty that is often copied and/or admired throughout the world.
  18. The woman ia still alive 67 years later, d8mn right she should be held accountable for her part in leading to a murder. Bill Cosby just lost $500k in a civil suit for an alleged crime that occurred 47 years ago. Nevermind that a 16 year old at the time had no business being at the Playboy Ranch. White folks have committed and gotten away with more physical, social and economic murders than any other group of people on the planet.
  19. As mentioned already, most folks are killed by members of their own group. Americans aren't protesting most murder because many have been desensitized to it. Murder is an unfortunate way to solve a problem(s) and a nuisance. But, it doesn't destroy communities any more than car accidents. Folks keep it moving.
  20. Hilarious that white folks hold economic, political and social power but some feel discrimination. The average white person doesn’t have a problem finding a job or getting a loan or being accepted into a college/university. Discrimination to white folks is not getting whet they want i.e. that to which they feel entitled.
  21. When it comes to something I don't know, I'll admit it if asked a question that I either don't know and/or cannot find the answer. Otherwise, I enjoy a good discussion and will give my opinion regardless of my knowledge or ignorance especially if I can find humor in it.
  22. @Pioneer1, nailed it regarding money. I just mentioned it in another thread. Takes a LOT of bread and pressure to make politicians do their job. But, when listening to politicians *talk* about issues...that's all they do. A whole lotta talking. Very little action.
  23. @Pioneer1, reads good but the problem is AfroAmericans haven't codified an agenda. AfroAmericans are neither in a position to hold any political party accountable nor start our own political party. Just look around us. We've got Uncle Clarence Thomas on the right and bobble head VP Kamala Harris on the left. Then, there's the middle all over the place. Codifying an AfroAmerican agenda could be relatively inexpensive especially if we used thr music industry to push it. Think along the lines of Talib Kweli "Manifesto": Otherwise, it takes a LOT of cooperation and money to start a political party.
  24. 67 years after the murder of Emmett Till, an arrest warrant was found in a box at the courthouse for the lady whose accusation led to his kidnap and murder: https://www.npr.org/2022/06/29/1108806145/emmett-till-family-seeks-arrest-after-1955-warrant-is-found Even when a grand jury was convened several years ago, an all black jury failed to indict the woman. I don't care if her lying azz is 90 years old, she should be locked up...behind bars.
  25. @Pioneer1, it's definitely a head scratcher that liberals don't go hard in the paint when they're in the driver's seat. That's why Roe has sailed and the SCOTUS tilted to the right. This is just the beginning of America rolling backwards.
