  1. Cops take an oath to serve and protect people. It doesn't give them a right to harm, injure, maim or murder them.
  2. Police exist solely to protect and secure the interests of white supremacy in accordance with its laws. There's no level playing field.
  3. All SCOTUS Justices are chosen based on race and gender. Look at their pictures.
  4. Black folks are not enslaved by our own people in any way, shape or form. Poverty, crime and violence are by-products of the system of white supremacy.
  5. Black folks have a sense of style and beauty that is often copied and/or admired throughout the world.
  6. The woman ia still alive 67 years later, d8mn right she should be held accountable for her part in leading to a murder. Bill Cosby just lost $500k in a civil suit for an alleged crime that occurred 47 years ago. Nevermind that a 16 year old at the time had no business being at the Playboy Ranch. White folks have committed and gotten away with more physical, social and economic murders than any other group of people on the planet.
  7. As mentioned already, most folks are killed by members of their own group. Americans aren't protesting most murder because many have been desensitized to it. Murder is an unfortunate way to solve a problem(s) and a nuisance. But, it doesn't destroy communities any more than car accidents. Folks keep it moving.
  8. Hilarious that white folks hold economic, political and social power but some feel discrimination. The average white person doesn’t have a problem finding a job or getting a loan or being accepted into a college/university. Discrimination to white folks is not getting whet they want i.e. that to which they feel entitled.
  9. When it comes to something I don't know, I'll admit it if asked a question that I either don't know and/or cannot find the answer. Otherwise, I enjoy a good discussion and will give my opinion regardless of my knowledge or ignorance especially if I can find humor in it.
  10. @Pioneer1, nailed it regarding money. I just mentioned it in another thread. Takes a LOT of bread and pressure to make politicians do their job. But, when listening to politicians *talk* about issues...that's all they do. A whole lotta talking. Very little action.
  11. @Pioneer1, reads good but the problem is AfroAmericans haven't codified an agenda. AfroAmericans are neither in a position to hold any political party accountable nor start our own political party. Just look around us. We've got Uncle Clarence Thomas on the right and bobble head VP Kamala Harris on the left. Then, there's the middle all over the place. Codifying an AfroAmerican agenda could be relatively inexpensive especially if we used thr music industry to push it. Think along the lines of Talib Kweli "Manifesto": Otherwise, it takes a LOT of cooperation and money to start a political party.
  12. 67 years after the murder of Emmett Till, an arrest warrant was found in a box at the courthouse for the lady whose accusation led to his kidnap and murder: https://www.npr.org/2022/06/29/1108806145/emmett-till-family-seeks-arrest-after-1955-warrant-is-found Even when a grand jury was convened several years ago, an all black jury failed to indict the woman. I don't care if her lying azz is 90 years old, she should be locked up...behind bars.
  13. @Pioneer1, it's definitely a head scratcher that liberals don't go hard in the paint when they're in the driver's seat. That's why Roe has sailed and the SCOTUS tilted to the right. This is just the beginning of America rolling backwards.
  14. @Troy, I'm definitely not anti-voting. I beiieve everyone eligible should exercise their constitutional regardless of which way they vote. My point is that some agent Orange voters need to be flipped to insure that he doesn't get re-elected. Given the choices we had in the last election, the real problem is a lack of good POTUS candidates. We shouldn't have to choose between two geriatrics...one bat sh8t crazy and the other one propped up by stem cell injections and Botox shots.
  15. Don't take it literally. The film doesn't exist. This thread is a clay pigeon for target practice.
  16. Former POTUS 45 is a certified clown. There's no doubt or mistake about it. I believe the constant media attention emboldens him and maintains his relevancy. During his time as POTUS, while 45 enriched a few friends, he did nothing to improve the lives of the American people. However, IMO, former POTUS 45 represents the aspirations of more than half the white men in America. He is a hero among white supremacists. To constantly be the antithesis of democracy in the most narcissistic way is a turn on to many white folks and misguided non-white folks too. It will take more than voting against the GOP to keep them from regaining power. Changing the hearts and minds of people who believe in a demagogue or giving them a better alternative is the key to maintaining democracy.
  17. Today, Justice Stephen Breyer officially retires. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson will be sworn in as the 1st black female on the SCOTUS. Despite the SCOTUS being 6-3 (conservative), I believe Justice Jackson will be able to make sound decisions. Hopefully, the SCOTUS will become balanced before Justice Jackson's time is up.
  18. Again, I do not remember the media being as obsessed with former POTUS. Amazing that 45 is still in the current news cycle. Sure, it is not beyond the realm of possibilities that 45 could end up back in the White House. Maybe the constant attention is an effort to get people to vote against him in 2024. If that is the play, I don't think it's going to work. In fact, it's going to make his supporters double down. However, we should paying attention to the another rising clown with less baggage. He's currently the governor of Florida. I think he would be far more destructive to America i.e. successful in taking it back to the 1950s.
  19. Dragnet started on radio over 70 years ago. This reference definitely provides a clue into a warped view.
  20. The 1st place leaflets for the Impulse Control and Family Structure Act will be distributed is trailer parks throughout America. Most trailer parks are located in states that have banned abortions. It will be incumbent upon kissing cousins Jake and Emily to use protection when they start fooling around. if Jake and Emily do f8ck up and procreate....their family structure will have to be intact in order to take care of that special needs child. Heaven forbid that child grows up to become a drug addict, mass shooter and/or continues the cycle of incestuous reproduction.
  21. Not that anyone asked but I'm not on Facebook, Twitter or the Gram. Never have been and probably never will. I prefer the AALBC discussion forum because it has a positive signal to noise ratio. Sure, a lost troll might show up and forum participation is low. I don't see where @Troy needs to be heavy-handed in his moderation. But, I dig that this forum feels like a coffeeshop. Someone can pull up a chair and rap a taste. It's great that most of the regulars around here are intelligent and have a sense of humor.
  22. The future has always been ever present as long as there is a system of racism white supremacy.
  23. @Stefan, most folks are non-confrontational and would rather not get into arguments especially if it becomes circular. Benign neglect, in this case , hoping a troll's threat falls off the main page is probably seen as the best solution. So, if/when we respond to a troll, it actually slows down the process of thread disintegration. I admire the power Jews have in shutting down anybody who comes against them using the charge of antisemitism, I so wish black folks had a similar hand grenade or rocket launcher. Unfortunately, black folks aren't on the same page when it comes to defending ourselves on any front. Too many turncoats and sellouts; bitter and jealous folks among us.
  24. @Stefan, I think we do a pretty good job here of pushing back against trolls using facts, truth and logic. Of course, there is some silliness, er, humor involved too.
  25. Well, SCOTUS Clarence Thomas must have read this thread because he's been on a tear this past weekend. Uncle Thomas took a break from his coloring books to make history by overturning Roe v Wade. In an effort to roll America back to the early 1900s, Uncle Thomas also suggested that other "substantive due process" legal precedents be reconsidered i.e. birth control, same-sex relations, gay marriage, etc. Interestingly, he's in no rush to overturn Loving v Virginia which set the legal precedent for interracial marriage. Guess I stand corrected. Uncle Thomas' opinion will be studied by future legal scholars. Another black man used to reinforce white supremacy.
