  1. The pastors showed up with references. The Pan-Africanists didn't seem as well prepared to debate the subject matter. Overall, it was a good conversation and well moderated.
  2. Absolutely. They will get around to revealing his ethnic background.
  3. The deflection is to blame individuals and fault them for their station in life. Human greed is the only real reason people are broke, hungry or homeless. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense that 3% of the population controls 97% of the wealth. There are countries that do not have homelessness, high rates of drug and alcohol addiction, high crime rates, etc. An unfortunate side effect of capitalism is that it breeds conditions that lead to unproductive and destructive behaviors.
  4. Yep. We had Jet and Ebony mags at the crib. My folks didn't buy gossip rags.
  5. Understood. They won't be able to get around the constitution. Their hands will be full 1) securing the border and 2) rounding up and deporting the illegal immigrants who already have court-ordered removal papers. These four years will be interesting as it relates to illegal immigration. I'm curious to see if a Republican administration handles it any differently.
  6. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJVO6OiqZE4 Shamsud-Din Jabbar does have that look. He is a natural-born US citizen from Texas. That's what folks are trying to do. Nobody really has to be broke in America or anywhere else. The conditions have been set up to feed every other aspect of society.
  7. There is a sense of humor within the historian. That's not how the forefathers envisioned it but exactly what politicians have been doing for many decades. You're correct. That's been the Achilles Heel of FBA/ADOS for over a century and counting.
  8. Fiat currency keeps humans from having to barter for products, goods and services. Also, in the absence of being able to produce and bring goods to the market, most humans have to exchange labor for currency. Back in 2007 or so, former POTUS George Bush admitted the whole financial system is built on a house of cards. The world could do away with money at any time. It's would be harder to maintain order and control over resources and people.
  9. Smoke screen. They are not going to deport natural born citizens. They need them to dilute the number of minorities.
  10. I take it you're going to answer your own question whenever time permits.
  11. Back to the New Orleans tragedy for a minute... 1) they're crediting ISIS for the attack committed by a Black man 2) spokespersons for FBI and ATF are Black folks The pundits are using the New Orleans tragedy to maintain fear-mongering that ISIS is a threat to the US. But, to avoid copycats, they dare not let white folks think or believe Black folks are capable of inflicting mass casualties. They aren't mentioning his race at all. Of course, we know that just like the DC Sniper situation back in 2002, Black folks don't commit mass murders on a regular basis.
  12. There may be strings attached to the UBI. Otherwise, I think UBI will be glorified welfare similar to the stimulus checks that were handed out during the pandemic.
  13. Don't start back-pedaling bro. You're right...these bootlicks and shills aren't physically harming Black people. They are only enriching themselves which is an impediment to Black empowerment. Sell-outs. White folks buy and appoint Black trustees to maintain order within the system of racism white supremacy. NF Jr. addresses it. Showcasing. If the ultimate goal is to have enough money to live comfortably and/or bang a buffet of exotic women, I cannot fault a man for it. That is not my idea of a power. A powerful man is respected on the chessboard of life. He's making moves in all areas of human activity to include empowerment of his own people too.
  14. Well, so many immigrants are here legally that you're still going to see a whole lot of them. In fact, it will be hard to tell how many were actually deported.
  15. AfroAmericans have to insure their own house is in order before they try to establish connections with others. Build power first. It draws others to doing business. Look no further than Asians and Jews. They got their own sh8t popping first. Then, they started taking everybody else's money. This is where our beliefs diverge. Under the system of racism white supremacy, Black folks aren't going to control anything without having power. Power is built or taken. Either way, once it's done, making moves becomes easier. Many of us already know wealthy white folks are welcoming and allowing illegal immigrants into the country to work for them. They are the folks to whom questions need to be directed about allowing illegal immigrants. I believe we have a social responsibility to take care of people who cannot take care of themselves. However, I do not believe society is responsible for taking care of able-bodied people who are lazy whether it's mental or physical as Dr. Umar might say....AT ALL.
  16. False equivalence. A prostitute will trade pimps at the drop of a dime. Let him get locked up. Also, pimps are powerless in the grand scheme of things. They little or no influence when it comes to politics. The incoming 1st lady of the United States looks like a hostage. She's only there for the perks. In the case of these latest dead dudes, their women left them. Regardless of whether people subject themselves voluntarily or involuntarily, power is the common denominator. Not possession.
  17. Remember this is the same clown who claimed he was going to build a wall to keep people out. Very unfortunate situation but a regular crime especially in a major city like NYC. Black folks and Latinos have been jumbled up together in the Big Apple for many decades. Whether that woman is here legally or illegally, we need to address the mentality that makes a person stab someone else over a place in line for a sandwich. That's petty. Immigrants definitely aren't here to help FBA folks. Immigrants come to America as the land of opportunity. FBA folks need to do a better job of understanding "we have no friends" especially among these people who do not share our history. FBA should be distancing ourselves from their accordingly. Minimize contact. If mass deportation helps in that regard...no tears need to be shed for them.
  18. History has already shown us that Black faces in high places aren't necessarily allies when it comes to Black empowerment. We haven't seen the likes of mayors Marion Barry and Coleman Young in decades. Today, we've got people like Clarence Thomas (SCOTUS), Byron Donalds (Congress), Tim Scott (Senate), Steven Reed (mayor), Letitia James (NY AG), etc. That's why it's important to sponsor and promote proponent FBA politicians who are willing to make things happen on our behalf. When it comes to many of these Black elected officials, as Public Enemy said...Can't Truss It.
  19. That's actually a weakness. Women may find it flattering up to a point but they don't respect it. Same goes for people in general especially those who are weak-minded. They will tuck up under someone who is controlling and dominating up until they can escape. Power, strength and security are the traits that people respect and fear and it keeps them in check. A man should build his power first. Everything else falls in place. A powerful man doesn't have to possess, control or dominate anyone. People will subject themselves to him. Look no further than Russia. Vladamir Putin literally has 143 million people in check.
  20. Gotcha. I'm sure those ladies will be swarmed with interview requests from the FBI to find out what they knew about the dudes. AfroAmericans don't have to compete or deal with anybody else if we're doing our own thing and standing on business. We have better choices. I would hope that AfroAmerican men aren't so desperate that they wanna bang a broad that traveled hundreds of miles to get here. That snatch box has miles on it. I agree they aren't benefitting us. However, I don't believe they are a drag on the progress of AfroAmericans committed to buiding our own infrastructure. These people are only an impediment to AfroAmericans who expect to be taken care of by the dominant society.
  21. It would be possible if Black folks start working on it now. At this point, I don't believe Black people share those goals. As @richardmurray points out, there are many Black tribes. The FBA tribe on the same page is relatively small.
  22. Considering their accomplishments in military service, I don't believe these dudes were already crazy. How will mass deportation benefit AfroAmericans? I hope it's not about reclaiming those black jobs.
  23. One of the worse human traits to have is treating another person like a possession. There's no such thing as ownership. Yet, throughout human history, ever since the caveman, folks have been cuffing and clubbing when sh8t goes sideways. I don't know if souls haunt them but memories and images of those events definitely some folks negatively. Then, that leads to wonder about those folks who saw the same thing and far worse and they're able to function as if it was nothing.
  24. Time flies. I'm not sure of what advanced means in this context but many AfroAmericans would argue being better off than the past.
  25. I believe a Universal Basic Income (UBI) will become a necessity as many jobs will be replaced with technology. Seems it would be easier to lower the cost of everything but of course wealthy folks and shareholders aren't interested in losing money for the greater good of humanity.
