  1. Worried in a figurative sense. Canadians do not have societal issues to the extent of their southern neighbors. Correction...Canada does have a history of slavery. Different legacy. Minorities accept the country belongs to white folks.
  2. No shame. It's all good. Just dialog. The super power countries already have agreements among themselves for how they carve up the rest of the globe financially. Everything in the US seems to be made in China. Russians are walking around wearing Levi's jeans. All of the saber-rattling with regard to military prowess is the equivalent of those Fast & Furious movies. It's really a flex to keep the lesser countries in line. As long as a handful of people in every country can enjoy being wealthy, their leadership can get the masses to go along with the program. As I mentioned in another thread, Vladimir Putin has 144 million people in check. The people haven't risen against him. Here in the US, poor and middle class people vote for people wealthier than themselves. Nowhere on the planet are the lower classes of people fighting for the redistribution of wealth.
  3. Of course, I enjoy the chop up regardless of whether or not we agree. I'm going to rely on the senses that have gotten me this far. Don't look at it as a hang up. It's my applied logic to the unknown without receipts. Very few of us can show up at the airport and tell the pilot to move over mayne, I'm gonna fly this bird today. ETs can take the equivalent of spare parts gathered from a back yard, cobble it together and be capable of traveling light-years throughout the universe. But, they cannot build it from scratch. Also, this cobbled together craft won't be detected on any of the most advanced radar systems. I think ETs would have their own technology if they're intelligent enough to use spare parts. They're definitely going to experience failures flying around in junk crafts. It would be more plausible to believe ETs capable of living for billions of years hopped aboard a meteor and crash landed on Earth. Those ETs have been living underground the whole time. Every now and then, they come up and hijack military aircraft to fly around as UAP/UFO. There goes a million dollar movie or book idea.
  4. Control comes with power. Not synonymous. It is an arranged marriage. Past to present, there's no shortage of women married to dudes for nothing. Love doesn't count as something. The discussion started around these potentially crazy dudes. That's just it...people don't possess each other. Only material things can be possessed. We don't claim to have power over it.
  5. True. Laughter, conversation, music, food, etc., is a helluva cocktail. Legal intoxication. No slipping drugs into drinks and pulling out baby oil.
  6. That meeting was my 1st thought upon hearing the news that he was stepping down. Fighting with the party could be a smoke screen. Either way, I don't blame him for cashing out. Time to enjoy the rest of his life without worrying about Canadian citizens.
  7. Anything that is considered entertainment requires a gift, talent, skill or gimmick to generate a lot of money. Athletes are entertainers just like actors, musicians, singers, etc. Some of them are very smart people too. Intelligence is not a prerequisite.
  8. Music is my opiate. I can get higher than a UAP/UFO while playing piano. Every now and then, I'll turn off the lights and play some out there Jazz. The UAP/EFO/ET still don't show up.
  9. Why do those conditions exist in the most powerful country on the planet? The American people gave him limited power. He's really jus a figure-head or a front-man for those who really control the levers of power. I hope so. They have access to to the best education. A few dimwits stumble into riches whether it's playing the lottery or a lawsuit.
  10. The craziest part is these folks will study and argue religion but ask them to put the same energy into addressing slavery and all of sudden it's....man, that sh8t happened a long time ago. Facts. A whole bunch of rich Black folks sitting around figuring out the next move.
  11. He may not have to focus on it too much. Under the incoming administration, I wouldn't be surprised if mandatory vaccinations just become optional like a flu shot.
  12. During your hiatus, brotha @frankster and I were chopping it up about the UAP/UFO/ET thing. Nevermind that I don't believe ETs exist at all. Admittedly, I don't smoke kush either. But, for the sake of discussion, I find it hard to believe that a higher form of intelligence could 1) build a spacecraft capable of traveling light-years, 2) crash land on Earth out of millions of planets and 3) be captured, experimented on and/or killed by humans. The chain of custody is too long. The math doesn't add up. But, like religion, science-fiction, fantasy and anything else, I can see the money being generated in spreading it.
  13. https://www.bbc.com/news/live/clyjmy7vl64t Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau plans to step down on 24 March 2025. PM Trudeau has been in office since 2015. Apparently, internal differences within the Liberal Party have led him to tap out. Trudeau says if he has to fight with his own party, clearly, he should no longer be in the job. Smart man. Remains to be seen who the Canadians will choose to lead their country into the future.
  14. What negative experiences or realities are Americans trying to escape? That's why I mentioned conditions a few posts ago. Power comes from war and slavery. Wealth can be generated by discovery (oil and precious minerals) or invention (products, goods and services). The food industry has generated a lot of wealth. However, coming up with burgers and fries or ice cream or sodas or candy bars doesn't require a great deal of intelligence. Powerful people use a combination of skilled and unskilled labor and smart folks to make money. There's no shortage of people who are rich or wealthy but not necessarily the most intelligent.
  15. The British pound, Indian rupee and euro are considered fiat currency too. Every country in the G20 can agree on a fiat currency and apply it to other countries too.
  16. I still think Black folks should be putting that energy into wealth building discussions instead of religion. These folks can pull up historical data and cite scriptures but they are still more broke than a bag of glass. They should be talking about how Elon Musk (53 years old ) and Jeff Bezos (60 years old) are two of the richest dudes on the planet. Maybe Black folks should be discussing how to build vehicles or create a search engine or social media app or opening a chain of big box stores.
  17. Sure. Some people are to blame for their own choices. Why is America filled with drugs and alcohol and guns? Power and greed builds wealth more than intelligence. Generational wealth is passed down. The heirs aren't necessarily the smartest people. Look no further than the incoming POTUS and his family. Those countries still have lower rates of murder, crime, drug and alcohol addiction than the United States. regardless of the choices people make in America, we could have safety nets to catch every last of them. Instead, destructive behavior generates revenue in a Capitalistic society i.e. social services, law enforcement, judicial system, hospitals, funeral homes, etc.. Many high-paying jobs are dependent on people being f8cked up in one way or another.
  18. Never found those types of mags in our house. Guess mom held dad down very well in that regard. He didn't need to supplement with mags. I never got into mags or porn either. When it was my time to turn up...females held me down off the break.
  19. From reading the linked article, it looks like there will be more studies. There's no conclusive evidence that fluorinated drinking water causes problems in children or anybody else. If the incoming administration with RFK Jr. at HHS pushes fluorinated water as an issue, it will generate a lot of money from studies, academia, media coverage, articles, books, etc. White folks can pull money-making sh8t out of thin air or in this case...chemically treated water.
  20. Brotha @Troy, excellent interview. Thanks again for everything you're doing with AALBC from providing a portal for Black books (authors, publishers, distro, readers) to the forums. Appreciate you mayne.
  21. Understood. It's definitely a question most would prefer others to answer for them. Of course being a clown, I had to turn the question into a joke.
  22. Outsourcing jobs, compressing wages, tolls and taxes, etc., props up the financial house of cards on which the US economy is built. The illusion of of a middle class buoys the system while the rich get richer. Of course, bureaucratic processes are hoarding and moving money around too. Still, 3% of the population controlling 97% of the wealth. The real question is when are citizens going to demand a redistribution of wealth.
  23. Humans=people which are folks, citizens, residents, men, women, children, etc. Some people still use the barter system. All developed countries have some form of paper currency too. It's hard to book a plane flight with bag filled with sugar, spices, salt, oil and nuts.
  24. Right. The Founding Fathers were definitely onboard with slavery. Free labor for hundreds of years generated wealth beyond measure. Built and enriched this country exponentially.
