  2. @Cynique You are right , I was thinking about this definition. b. Psychology and Sociology (originally U.S.). The state of being male or female as expressed by social or cultural distinctions and differences, rather than biological ones; the collective attributes or traits associated with a particular sex, or determined as a result of one's sex. Also: a (male or female) group characterized in this way. India
  3. Gender is a social construct. As is sexual expression.
  4. @Cynique opinions , experiences, and beliefs shape a person's world view. So I'm curious about other viewpoints. @frankster what would be the effect or purpose of that secret agenda? @Troy what was the impetus to for more diversity in the media?
  5. It's a question , and I don't have a presupposition.
  6. Can you identify the secret agendas you have noticed, and their possible effects or purpose?
  7. Other questions in number theory related to various perceived or theoretical patterns in numbers or number groups. It all begins with that most crucial aspect of intelligent thought: pattern recognition. https://science.howstuffworks.com/math-concepts/number-theory.htm?
  8. Visionaries live in a different world, I imagine that can be a lonely place.
  9. I posted the Olmec heads to demonstrate the link between Mexico and Africa. However the architects could have been aliens with Negroid features.
  10. I was just referring to your statement about Troy's viewing habits.
  11. https://www.thoughtco.com/the-colossal-heads-of-the-olmec-2136318 That is from the Olmecs in Mexico. Interestingly only Brown people made pyramids, whereas white people seem to favor round or circular monument. Like Stonehenge and Newgrange
  12. In the last 16 years I had a TV for a year and a half, but watched very little. Nine years before that I think I had a TV for maybe a year or two.
  13. I'd saw Troy is more straight no chaser.
  14. No that's Del.
  15. The phone is the the poisonous cure for loneliness. It can provide interaction and alienation.
  16. I was in Hong Kong, I think I would be okay.
  17. It wasn't until the end of the 90's that I realised I don't like crowds. New York is a place I no longer recognise.
  18. The bit about time starts at 32:01
  19. The last year is the first time I haven't felt optimistic about the future. I feel that next year will be a good year. I have been feeling magical and there are some small positive signs. It only takes one visionary to help us to find the light . I find that I vacillate between optimism and apathy. I feel the years will be getting harder up until 2024. And 2024 is a turning point. In a way all of the problems being visible is a step forward. Also realising that the custodians may not care is also useful information. I am having some major changes yet I keep getting signs . That things will work. How about a Del explanation?
  20. Information and consciousness, could have a similar relationship like time and space.
  21. I'm paraphrasing Gregory Chaitin, perhaps the fundamental building blocks are not atoms, quarks but information.
  22. Scientists, philosophers and others have pondered the nature of time. And although we've learned a lot about time, such as the reality of time dilation and the possible connection between time and entropy, we haven't been able to come up with a complete description of what time is. Some philosophers and physicists have argued that what we experience as time is just an illusion, an artifact of our consciousness. In this view, the passage of time isn't real; the past and future already exist in their complete extent, the same way the entirety of space already exists. What we sense as the flow of time is a byproduct of the way our brains work as we process sensory information from our environment, according to physicist Sean Carroll(opens in new tab). Time is the apparent progression of events from past to future. While it's impossible to completely define the nature of time, we all share many common experiences bound by time. Almost all laws and equations that physicists use to understand the natural world are symmetrical in time. That means they can be reversed without changing any results. For example, if you were to watch a video of a ball rising into the air and falling again, without any other context, you wouldn't be able to tell if the video was being played forward or in reverse. https://www.livescience.com/what-is-time
