Black Unity: You Might Have The Wrong Understanding
I was responding to the generality of your quote me I have nothing to say about Black unity that makes any difference

Black Unity: You Might Have The Wrong Understanding
Isn't that what visionaries do. I have wasted a lot of time on things most would say or pointless. Yet those things have shaped me: Night clubs; Astrology; Tarot and time markers. A friend once said', Time that you enjoy isn't wasted"

Shortage Of Black Men....or Really A Shortage Of Black WOMEN?
There have been a few socialites who were involved with men from a lower socioeconomic level. While it is difficult to determine motivations. I would say it may be that their partner offered something that was missing from their circle. Here's a brief biography of one such woman. https://www.npr.org/2007/07/21/12070489/nancy-cunard-rebellious-heiress-inspired-life Doris Duke is another. Who married Porfirio Rubirosa who was charming and had certain talents. He dated and wooed rich woman. Including Zsa Zsa Gabor

The New Year Shouldn't Start Now But In The Spring
Astrologically the year begins when the Sun enter the Cardinal sign of Aries (Spring), and the winter solstice occurs in the Cardinal sign of Capricorn (Winter).

Booker T. Washington's Atlanta Exposition Speech, September 18, 1895
Although the two pronged approach of being accommodating versus revolutionary seems to have a history.

What Would You Do If You Knew Someone Stoled Your Beloved Pet?
I don't know how I feel about herb being ubiquitous. Lotteries and smoke is what people have to look forward to in life.

Booker T. Washington's Atlanta Exposition Speech, September 18, 1895
Sounds a bit overly optimistic. Any perceived list of power is met by opposition. To the point where groups are organised against the dissolution of inequality. Most country's wealth is due to exploitation, I don't see any paradigm shifts occuring soon.

Where Is Everybody?
Perhaps it's more that screens have a bigger share of our time . So we are accustomed to passivity.

At NYU I think I challenged perceptions of being a Black Man. Quite a few whites never had a conversation or interaction with a person if color. Where there was parity.

The 90-9-1 Rule for Participation in Online Communities
I occasionally get a dialogue going if I pose a question. Or post a link. It seems if the post requires an additional step there tends to be more interaction

Where Is Everybody?
I have a FB group of about 622 members there are about 5 people that post. One person sent me a message stating that she appreciated the group. I don't think she had posted or responded to a post other than likes. Ironically I have two new members who are very serious Astrologers. Both have been more interacted than my most interactive member. It appears to be the way of it. TV and other screens have turned us into a nation of voyeurs.

The Illusion of Unity
Yes I believe so. It is also a technique used in war. You dehumanise the enemy. So your inhumanity is with justified or minimised And usually this is done to acquire resources or to exploit the other .

Ddddamn trademark that one. That peacefulness is the result of some pervasive mistakes. It is less surreal if you can see that is a component of your reality. Everything a person believes to be true is true for them. Which is why I seldom argue. I purposely didn't use the word individual since I don't think a person can transcend their culture or language without great internal work. I tend to feel a have goal which results more in trailblazing than walking paths. @Cynique

The Illusion of Unity
@KENNETHI feel that racism sexism and homophobia are all an attempt to hide a fear of unworthiness. The object of derision is attractive and has a power of the subject. So in order to balance that dynamic the subject tries to control or hinder the object. So Blacks were allowed to compete in sports not because they are inferior. It is the same with women in business, my best managers were women that could utilise their masculine and feminine qualities. I had one male manager that could do that as well. The object has a power over the subject , which creates a cognitive dissonance. You can see that when a brother's words or unsuccessful with a woman she is demoted. From an object of affection to one of derision. I feel this dynamic is in play on many different levels.

In Slavery Black Women were physically abused by their husbands.

The Illusion of Unity
I think I have not been clear. Perhaps I should make an addendum to clarify my statement. Upon conception, the following is not known, gender, sexual prefernce, or nationality. What is known is colour. And Systematic racism is concerned with that unborn colour primarily. I am well aware of intersectionality being exposed to by circa 1986. Intersectionality is not an unknown topic to me. I feel that racism is just a cover for class warfare. There's a quote by a Black Women Rapper. She said being a Black Women is like being Black twice. Blacks are discriminated against by skin color more so than any other attribute. Since skin color is obvious the choice of criminality, sexual preference, dialect are used a s secondary or tertiary demarcation of disapproval. Although it is a weaker argument color is harder to hide than sexuality or gender. However there are men and perhaps women who are sexist but not racist.

My chances of elucidating a point to your satisfaction is a low probability event.

Since skin color is obvious the choice of criminality, sexual preference, dialect are used a s secondary or tertiary demarcation of disapproval. Is Richard Pryor, Dave Chappelle, Sidney Poitier, Harry Belafonte, Frederick Douglass, Miles Davis, Alvin Ailey any less black or down for the cause because their partner wasn't a Black women I have no interest in discriminating against people who already being discriminated against for whatever reason unless they are a$$h0le$
