  1. They are, however most people don't know anything about them. They are just learning. And even most of the people who DO know, don't understand the SPIRITUAL importance of these yearly time periods and why they were observed in the first place. The wise elites who replaced them with the current ritualistic religious holidays understood and still use them for THEIR own empowerment...lol. This is one of the main reasons the fiscal year doesn't end in December but in September (Autumn Solstice)
  2. richardmurray If UBI don't happen. then violence will grow and i guess the police state industry will grow. but I don't see how industries in the usa can continually raise prices and the violence from the masses not reach a potency unable to be contained or controlled by the police state. But, maybe SCrumpt is beginning that era. I Don't see how it can survive for two hundred and fifty years with the source of the violence being industries in the usa making cost of living too high. You can have drones and machine cops and electronic distinct security systems and tagging people to quell violence but I don't see how that can last over a hundred years with the violence inevitably having to grow with the way the industries raise the cost of living. The government can maintain control easily....by turning the people AGAINST EACHOTHER. That's how many smart governments maintain power anyway. When the population gets too big or unruly to keep power over, they generate wedge issues to keep the population proportionately divided and at eachother's throats. Sectarian violence and social instability ensures confusion and little resistance to tyranny. I don't see any financially even reason why any of those firms mentioned above and most of their peers in the usa should exist today. They are all failed firms, and for the investment banks/automotive companies/crypto/real estate industries I was aware for them, I was present of mind to see each of them have a complete financial collapse. So no one can give me any financially valid reason those four sectors should exist with the actors they do today. The reason they didn't allow those businesses to fail was simple: they were and are providing goods and services the nation actually NEEDS We can argue over whether nor not some corporations are "too big" to fail; but there are some private companies and corporations that are too essential to fail. Allowing them to collapse would lead to a national disaster. Most individuals and small businesses DO NOT provide essential goods and services to the nation. If they fail, it wouldn't necessarily ruin the society or over all economy like if.....say.....Ford or United Airlines or Chase bank collapsed.
  3. umbrarchist Coming from where? Lol.... Just print it up out of thin air like they've been doing for decades. ProfD Not yet. it won't happen until unemployment hits about 15% of the population. We're far past that already. As richardmurray suggests and as I've said some months ago, they simply don't count everybody. If the unemployment numbers were accurate, it would be above 20%.
  4. Now I'm seeing accounts that the Feds popped a couple of people in Portland. Portland is another hot spot.
  5. ProfD I said years ago that it was the BLACK IMMIGRANTS they were really going after. Most Latinos....although they're not....identify as White and are highly unlikely to identify and connect with AfroAmericans. Africans on the other hand....even if the first generation doesn't...the second generation usually links up with us.
  6. I don't know what it is about the state of Minnesota or Minneapolis, but every time Trump is in office....that place seems to be a hot spot to set off nation wide revolutions...lol. Before Trump got in the first time nobody heard anything out of Minnesota. It was as quiet and boring as a church mouse during previous administrations. Trump gets in office and George Floyd gets kills and the whole city erupts and then the nation. Trump leaves office.....all is quiet again...lol. Not a whisper out of Minneapolis or the rest of Minnesota. Trump gets BACK in office and we get another situation in Minnesota with more protests and people lined up shaking their fists at federal officers....lol. If Trump were wise, he'd leave Minneapolis and Minnesota in general alone. The situation never ends well for him. Why is ICE in in full force in Minnesota ANY damn way, when you have MILLIONS of illegal immigrants in places like California, Nevada, Utah, Texas, and other states they should be focusing on. Just want to pick on the Somalis....lol.
  7. frankster Question.....Did Trump formally declare War? Yes and No. He declared war on the drug cartels. However wasn't constitutional FOR him to do so. He was out of his bounds. War and Politics create strange alignments True. But it's not so strange if you: 1. Follow the money 2. Sit back and ask yourself WHO BENEFITS from any sort of military conflict. Just like a lot of people profit from crime and auto accidents, some people profit from war and carnage. A diabolical business. Why Not? Because they're human and most humans aren't fair. Most humans are focused on looking out for their own interests or the interests of those they love and care about. Even if those they care about are evil themselves. We should expect the best but prepare for the worst. Funny you should use this phrase. I counseled a young man to do this very thing earlier today! I used almost those exact words but I said "hope" instead of "expect". Vietnam never respected France or America's military might.....All they did was defend their Sovereign Rights I'm not sure about France, but it was clear that the United States wasn't trying to win the war in Viet Nam. It was a form of population control as well as a distraction from the Civil Rights movement. If the U.S. wanted to win the war in Viet Nam they could have decimated the place and ended it in 5 months.
  8. Mel I never was too keen about celebrating the New Year in the middle of winter anyway....lol. It didn't make a lot of sense. Especially in Michigan with all that snow on the ground and it getting dark at 5pm...lol. It made MORE sense to me that the New Year would start in the Spring Time when nature was waking back up and things were coming back to life. That feeling was only confirmed when later on I found out that for most of human history the New Year WAS celebrated in the Spring. Right around March or April. This is the real history of Easter before Christianity.
  9. They had NO CHOICE but to be fine with it. America insisted....lol. When the Mafia comes into your establishment and INSISTS on being your partner, it's an offer you really can't refuse. "This guy right here! I love 'em like my own fuckin' son. By the way.... I had to KILL my son a few years back. Fuckin' miss that kid. NO I DON'T.. ..OR I WOULDNA KILLED 'EM HA HA HAAAA......."
  10. ProfD FBA/AfroAmericans have to strategically align among themselves before we can start branching out to other groups. You're right. However there are 2 major problems with this....both of them are related to eachother: 1. A large percentage of our people are too stupid, criminal minded, or indifferent to form meaningful and effective alliances with or "align" with. They are essentially dead weight. 2. A lot of our intelligent and righteous people who SHOULD be aligning themselves with eachother are "soft hearted" towards them. Too much time and energy is wasted trying to "save" criminals, fools, dope addicts, etc....spending years trying to pull them up and put out the fires they cause. Time that could have been spent branching out and connecting with other intelligent Black people who are NOT part of our culture. I believe we should help those among our people who need help and WANT help; but I don't believe in wasting time and energy with unrepentant hooligans and thugs. I'm certainly not suggesting that other groups take the lead in forming strategic alliance with FBA/AfroAmericans. Whichever groups of people with something tangible to offer in building strategic alliances should bring it to the table. The point in forming strategic alliances is mutual benefits to all parties. I'm with you! As I've said before, many AfroAmericans and Africans are doing this already on a smaller scale. They aren't waiting for the rest of their respective communities to "catch up"...lol. We really should be taking advantage of our American citizenship and the benefits that come with it as leverage for our business relationships abroad. Too many of our people only want to go overseas when they're ready to "retire". They don't look at it as business opportunities.
  11. ProfD I believe the people of Haiti fought back militarily just enough for the French to fall back in battle. The French lost the revolution but won the war by putting Haiti in poverty into perpetuity. Whatever the Haitians used back in 1800 hasn't worked ever since as they are still paying restitution to France. You make an interesting observation. One that I also noticed when studying the Haitian Revolution. If they did enough to whoop the French, and English too....why didn't they keep it up??? I have my own ideas as to what happened, but again...your observations are keen on this issue. But. for as much as some Black folks believe in religion, voodoo, witchcraft and other practices, none of it seems to work to the betterment of our overall net condition on the planet. Unfortunately, perhaps that's not the chief aim of most of those who practice it. Perhaps most people who practice and engage in it do so for personal reasons.
  12. But it was INSIDE the sovereign nation of Nigeria....LOL. Imagine somebody broke in your house and kicked the door down to grab one of your relatives and whoop them up. Would you be assured that since they were only looking to hurt THAT relative, the rest of your household is safe?
  13. ProfD The New Black Media should be called out whenever they are off code. Them niggas STAY off code, lol. Part of the code is not fighting with or criticizing other Black people in public, which they do on a routine basis. For those who say I'm guilty of this also based on my criticism OF them...... Although this forum technically is "public", it's still relatively closed and private compared to social media. Building strategic alliances is a 2-way street. Have other groups of people drawn up a viable plan? No, not that I know of. However we really shouldn't want them to do this anyway. This is OUR country. We are the dominant Black group here and it should be on US to take the lead and initiative in forming alliances and setting the course for how these things should go. If Nigerians came here and drew up an agenda and presented it to us as AfroAmericans....guess what....we'd have a problem with THAT too, lol. "Man, yall just got off the boat yesteryear. Why YALL tryna run shit up in here???"
  14. 😂 -Man, was this funny! I gotta hand it to you.....uh....Cy....uh...aka Constance......you sure do get off a GOOD one, every now and then! Mel Happy New Year miss lady! Although personally, I celebrate the New Year on my BIRTHDAY. That's the "new year" for me...lol.
  15. ProfD What do you believe the Black people of Haiti were using to win military victories against the United Western powers back in the early 1800s? I know it's called Voodoo but what type of power do YOU think they were working with? Even if you say you don't know, I'd be interested in any speculative theories you may have.
  16. The REAL confusion occurs when SOME White people tell them that they are actually "White" or "Caucasian" while OTHERS let them know plainly that they aren't...lol. One of the things that keeps AfroAmericans MORE on code than any other group is White folks letting us know quite plainly, blatantly, and consistently that we are NOT White in any way, shape, or form regardless of our names, skin shade, or how many White ancestors we can point to in the family tree....lol.
  17. frankster Is exactly what Russia and China wanted... They do? Do you think they want this to justify taking over Ukraine and Taiwan? If so, why HAVEN'T they already? The current Administration is labeling the Action as Law Enforcement..... if so it is not unconstitutional Any act of military aggression against another nation is WAR, regardless of what it's called or the terms used. They simply aren't calling it that. Article I Legislative Branch Section 8 Enumerated Powers Clause 11 War Powers To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water; https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/article-1/section-8/ The military action in Venezuela and the capturing Maduro was supposed to be an act of CONGRESS (by vote) Congress is refusing to enforce the Constitution, as simple as that. It's nothing new....because they didn't do it with Korea or Vietnam either. A long history of Executive Actions...As Commander-in-Chief the President has 48 hrs to notify Congress - as such the President can not be hamstring by formalities Perhaps.... I'm not an expert on what the President is allowed to do as far as executive actions are concerned. But when it comes to military conflict the Constitution is clear that this lays within the powers of the Legislative Branch, not the Executive Branch. This is exactly what Russia wants.... I've heard and read that perhaps some sort of "deal" was made between Russia and America that if we took Venezuela then Russia can just take Ukraine. I'm not sure how true that is. It depends on if that global power is Fair and True True I don't think we should expect for any modern human global power to be fair. But I'd rather see America running the globe than Russia or China, given their historical treatment of Black people both inside and outside of their respective countries. Governments can only guarantee the protection of your Rights....so far as they are able Right. But the government ITSELF doesn't necessarily have a "right" to even exist, let alone have "rights" that other nations are bound to respect. It's their MILITARIES that protect nations/governments....not some bill of rights.
  18. I have 3 issues....not necessarily problems....but issues...with the concept of a Universal Basic Income: 1. Will this be a Constitutional Right, or just a privilege? Because from what I've heard of it in the nations it's practiced in....it's a method that government uses to CONTROL people. In other words..... Everybody gets $2000 a month. But if you say something the government doesn't like, or break a law, or commit an infraction....the government reserves the right to lessen the amount or cut it off all together. Rewarding certain people while punishing others. 2. If everybody has a BASIC income, then that means nobody will be broke or claim not to have enough money. Which means people who monitor your income and wages to sell you insurance or a car or a house can take advantage of the fact that they KNOW you have so much money coming in and will charge you so much based on that. You can't claim you don't have any money or can't afford "this" or "that" because EVERYBODY is getting it so they KNOW you got it. You can't even tell a criminal or mugger that you're broke, because they KNOW you'll have some money coming in at some point and time. 3. It could possibly trigger massive inflation. Again, if everybody is getting $2000 a month..... The rent WAS $500 a month. But since we know everybody gets atleast $2000 a month....let's raise it to $1000 a month! Infact, since most people are shacking up now a days anyway make the rent $2000 a month and let them find a roommate and share a check between themselves!
  19. ProfD IMO, the New Black Media should stay focused on the following: 1) Reporting issues of which FBA/AfroAmericans need to be aware under the system of racism white supremacy 2) Maintaining our history and recognizing our master teachers i.e. Black folks past and present 3) Highlighting positive accomplishments of FBA/AfroAmericans 4) Networking opportunities 5) Reparations Absolutely. I agree with those points 100%. But I doubt that they'd focus on them because Reparations and helping the AfroAmerican community does NOT seem to be their agenda. Their agenda SEEMS to be dividing the larger Black diasporan community globally or atleast isolating the AfroAmerican community from them and further dividing the AfroAmerican community based on gender, religion, region, and political affiliation. Keeping up chaos and division by constantly finding BLACK enemies to focus their adherent on. That's the thing that made me suspicious of them. Who the "enemy" always is for them. Never a White or non-Black group. Every enemy or boogieman they come up with just happens to be another BLACK person or persons. -Black immigrants -Black women -Black Democrats -Black Americans with immigrant backgrounds There is really no reason for FBA/AfroAmericans to be concerned in one way or another with non-oppressor groups of people. I personally believe in building strategic alliances. I'd have to ask who among us has actually drawn up a viable plan and presented it to these other groups and GAVE them the option to accept it or reject it. But if we ARE to take that approach and tell them to hold their own nuts while we hold ours.....ok...then let it be. But they aren't doing that. When I see them doing video after video and live after live making fun of Haitians, laughing at the Somalis and calling them criminal and demanding they get deported, and then making fun of other Africans -how they look, smell, and their hair line -and have BEEN doing this for years...... That raises red flags. They aren't simply ignoring them and focusing on our issues, they are TARGETING them. And the fact that the ONLY political target of the New Black Media seems to be Democrats...of any race...but barely a word said about the Republicans, makes me even more suspicious about their origins and who's funding them. FBA/AfroAmericans should not get into petty beefs or go back & forth with any other group of people especially other Black folks. They are victims too. Exactly. But this is exactly what's being generated BY a lot of self-proclaimed FBA and New Black Media online. Just watch them and look at their content. They may mentioned "white supremacy" in passing as some abstract term, but look at who they FOCUS THEIR ENERGY on. It's almost always OTHER Black people. Other Black groups or other Black influencers they're "beefing" with. Never a White, Asian, or Latino person. Watch it The mission of FBA/AfroAmericans should be putting in the work necessary to make America pay for its original sin. That requires UNITY. It's hard to achieve that when you have paid operatives working among us to keep our people divided and distracted.
  20. Thank you for this clarification. So you probably don't believe in curses either, correct?
  21. I was only about 17 or 18 but I was bigger and presumably stronger than him and probably could have. But to be honest with you I was so startled to the point of being shook later on, I wasn't thinking about violence....lol. I was thinking about escape! I didn't even want to TOUCH the sissified muthafucka....let alone get into a fight or wrestling match with him, lol. I wanted to get AWAY from him. Like walking into a room full of roaches. You can easily stomp on them and crush them....but that's not what you want to do. You want to GET AWAY from them....lol. Homosexuality wasn't quite as common or tolerated among Black folks back in those days as it is now. I didn't see that AT ALL coming up either in the family or in the neighborhood. We had some sissy acting people, but they didn't talk about what they did....lol. Like I said, I didn't get hit on by men much....but I remember almost every time I did. And each time I did I walked away with a new appreciation for how some women feel when THEY get constant unwanted attention from men, lol.
  22. 😂 ProfD So you do you believe some people are just lucky (meaning good luck) through out life while others are unlucky (meaning bad luck) through out life?
  23. ProfD In general, the majority of men do not harm people even when it comes to their own self-defense and/or their loved ones. I'm really not too sure about this one. I think the majority of men in America would, but I'm not so sure about the majority of men around the planet because I haven't traveled enough to make this assessment. Most men I've met from Asia tend to be VERY passive....lol. I've seen one on a cell phone say something...got slapped...and went right back to thumbing through his cell phone as if nothing happened. Later on when the guy left him, he looked over at him with his eyes bucked....so it obviously bothered him. There would be a whole lot of harmed gay dudes if the majority of men who have been hit on retaliated against them. Maybe you don't see a high body count because they usually know WHO to hit on and who not to...lol. I've been hit on by gay dudes before but it happens so rarely that I remember almost every single time. I think they can usually sense something about me that tells them they'd be wasting their time. But you got some fools out there who don't seem to care one way or the other. I remember back in the day when I was 17 or 18 I walked into a Sears bathroom and this White dude with a silly grin on his face was standing at one of the urinals. He looked back at me and smiled. I didn't pay it any attention and stood a few urinals from him. Then he looked over at me again and pulled his pants ALL the way down while staring at me!!! * I forgot I had to use the bathroom and raised the fuck up out of there quick, fast, and in a hurry....LOL. My biggest concern was getting out of there before anybody else went in....lol. That shit had me shook for the rest of that day because I wasn't used to somebody coming at me like that. I told one of my uncles about it and he laughed and said I should be glad that's ALL he did. *For the women reading this...that's NOT something men do at a urinal. You only pull down enough to pull it out....lol.
  24. ProfD To answer the question literally...I have not met or seen a person who considered themselves a racist and wore that label proudly. Right. I stand by comment about actions speaking louder than words. I agree. Black, Brown, Red and Yellow folks believing they are white only to either be 1) mistreated by their own partner or 2) called derogatory names by the real white folks. Many Somalis and Ethiopians also consider themselves White....literally. They claim to be "Caucasian" and take scientific terms out of context to back up their silly claims. To be fair though...... Many Indians, and even some Ethiopians and Somalis actually ARE White genetically. Especially a lot of northern Indians. But the vast majority are various shades of brown, obviously.
  25. I want to make sure I'm understanding you correctly..... You believe that some people have routine good luck and some people have routine bad luck? If so, I find that very interesting based on your definition of luck. I know you said that luck is beyond THAT person's actions, but do you believe that there is another force, power, or authority BEYOND that person that may influence their luck? That would take it well beyond mere "chance".
