Troy Why are you introducing the words "exclusively" and "all" into the discussion??? Who said "all" people named this were of this gender or people with that name were "exclusively" of that gender?????? You're introducing extremes and trying to make them MY argument.

Troy I'm trying a different technique by asking questions that I hope will help you see things in a different way. Sounds to me like you're trying to either confuse or take the focus off of the obvious...lol. That science clearly acknowledges race and racial differences! If you are trying to count the number of people Black and white people with diabetes give me a reason to justify excluding the Hispanic ones? Because Blacks and Whites are RACES and Hispanic is not.

Because what you said isn't entirely true. Yes, when researched you will find "plenty" (a subjective term) of men and women with the name Shannon. I agree. However that alone doesn't make it a gender neutral name. Only if a roughly or fairly EQUAL amount of males and females with that name would make it gender neutral in my opinion. If the vast majority of those with that name were female....as is the case in MY observations (yes...here we go...lol) then in MY opinion it's not a gender neutral name but clearly a female one that SOME men are named. When I looked it up on AI it said: Again, commonly understood in THIS society that it's a girl's name. But I guess most of you on here doesn't come from THIS society but some other society where just as many boys are named Shannon. .....I'm telling you the truth.

There's no such thing as "pure Italian".....unless....you're talking about salad dressing....maybe...lol. Italian is a nationality and/or ethnicity (as in the case of the 2 above). Not something genetic that can be measured for purity.
