The Best Definition of white Supremacy Ever
Pioneer1 replied to Troy's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Maybe it's just my take on it but it seems that Jim's response to the interviewer's question sounded like a rant or ramble to me. The man asked him a simple question about the racism he experienced at Syracuse and he gets into slavery and Obama and everything else and at the end of it, slaps the man upside the head for asking the question in the first place. I mentioned before that a lot of White people are genuinely confused about how Black people really feel because so many of our people can't properly focus and articulate how they feel in a direct manner. What Jim said was correct, but much of it was irrelevant to the direct question the man asked him, which although I'm sure the Jim's intent was to INFORM him of the history of racism...the fact is the guy wasn't looking for a lecture. For me, White Supremacy is pretty simple and straight forward. White people think they're better than other races because they see themselves as smarter with more accomplishments. If we want to change this attitude among them, we should show ourselves to be just as smart and smarter....and accomplish just as much and more. We're not going to "talk down" White supremacy with telling White people history they already know. Nor should you expect sympathy and understanding from those who put you in the position you're in in the first place. If we want White people to drop the White Supremacist mentality then we must disprove the myth of White supremacy by showing superiority in thought and action. -

I can't condemn America. America is my home. If there's something going on in my home that I don't like.....I don't leave it, I try to change it. The differences between how conservative Republicans think and how liberals and "minorities" think is stark and striking. When Republicans lose an election, conservatives immediately regroup and plan how to "take back" their nation and regain the reigns of power. When Democrats lose an election, most liberals are quick to give up and talk about leaving the country and moving to Canada or submit to being victims that drift around in whichever direction the winds of political change may blow them.

Troy I only brought that example up as an illustration of how the media uses subtle racism to influence the public. Ofcourse I don't take most of what I read in the New York Post seriously, it's sensationalism at it's best. Infact, I'd consider it one step above tabloid journalism. However, you or I refusing to read it doesn't negate the fact that hundreds of thousands if not millions of others DO read it and are being influenced by it to various degrees. If the New York Post is churning out biased news and racist propaganda.... Don't we have a duty to monitor it and challenge it's poisonous content rather than ignore it and dismiss it as ridiculous while it's toxic influence spreads like a plague? Black New Yorkers should be at the forefront of condeming such right wing media propaganda.

Maybe Trump's Election is a Blessing in Disguise
Pioneer1 replied to Troy's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
No one "ignored" the working and middle class Whites. For the past 40 something years Democrats have been the only major party to advocate raising wages, improving working conditions, providing affordable healthcare for more Americans, increasing funding for schools, supporting unions. If THAT doesn't show support for and benefit the working/middle classes of ALL races, I don't know what does.....which I suspect may be part of the problem. Many poor and middle class Whites don't like any program that benefits ALL people, only those that benefit them to the exclusion of others. Troy Yes this election was IN PART about "green" to the extent that most of the wealthy elite saw in Trump the opportunity to continue accumulating and consolidating wealth and influence in this nation. But make no mistake about it....race was also a MAJOR factor in this election. Millions of poor Whites who didn't have a pot to piss in went out of their way to show up to the polls and vote for a Wall Street billionaire who they KNEW didn't give a damn about them personally. Not because of what he promised to do FOR THEM...but for what he promised to do TO OTHERS. There are poor White men in this nation who would rather starve to death or lay at home and die for lack of health care, than live in a society where both Black and White men live together with decent jobs and great healthcare.....because that would increase the chances that his daughter just might consider marrying and having children with a Black man of similar socio-economic status. -
((six days later)) I'm almost certain that you've read my questions by now. So one can only make assumptions as to why you haven't answered them.

Donald Trump could be the next President.
Pioneer1 replied to Del's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Del My statement was an astrological prediction, six months ago . It was not a position taken by most astrologers either You said Trump COULD become the next President. You didn't say it was definate or even most likely. So your statement didn't meet prediction standards.....lol. It was a mere comment just like Troy and mine but from the other side of the coin. -
If we want to talk about how many Black people kill eachother, we should also talk about how many White people kill eachother AND THEMSELVES through suicide. I've said it before and I'll continue to say that people shouldn't minimize the major role the racist U.S. media plays in hyping up Black violence and criminality to the public. A good example is what i just saw tonight by the New York Post. The headline reads: Woman stuffed 61-year-old lady’s head in a trash can: cops And the story comes with this picture.... Which leads the public to believe that this young Black woman cut off some 61 year old woman's head (whom they didn't show) and stuffed it in a trash can. After reading about so many horrendous things in the media, most people will see this headline and the picture attached to it, store it in their memory and basically move on to something more interesting without actually reading the details of what happened. Others may mention the story to friends during casual conversation or at work. But all they'll remember is some young Black woman being caught putting a 61 year old's head in a trash can. However when you actually read the entire article you realize that there was a fight and she tried to stuff the woman in the garbage can head first. https://www.yahoo.com/news/m/90f1cdfd-32ee-36ca-959f-fa607a0b065a/ss_woman-stuffed-61-year-old.html So why would they flash a local story like that with intentionally misleading information, put the picture and name of a woman up there who is still a "suspect" and hasn't even been convicted of a crime yet, and even make it national news? Because it's part of the overall theme to put a Black face of violence and criminality. It also destroys the self esteem of many Black youth by subconciously assigning to them the role of criminal and social deviant. And that's probably not even the picture of the woman the New York Post is accusing of the crime. I've been seeing quite a few "fake news" stories lately where pictures of innocent people are just being outright posted along with stories unrelated to them.

.....sincere questions Why do you habitually refer to members of the African/Black race with the archaic term "Negro"? I notice you don't refer to Chinese, Japanese, and Koreans collectively by THEIR archaic term "oriental" . Is Spanish your first language or something?

THE CRESS THEORY: SURVIVING RACISM IN THE 21ST CENTURY
Pioneer1 replied to a topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Xeon You say the Japanese, Chinese, and Koreans are no longer colonized people but nearly all of their technology and even most of their social customs today come from Western civilization. They are among the biggest "imitators" of the West to the point that there is no need for the West to FORCE their values on them anymore as they did in the past because now Asians readily accept them as superior to their own. White men are still going to Asia and taking Asian women in mass numbers to be their wives and sex toys as the original European colonizers did in the past. Western corporations are in Asia right now exploiting millions of in Japan, China, and Korean who are basically being forced by their own government to work for these corporations as an opportunity to move into the middle class....which basically makes them slaves twice removed. Can you provide any authentic information that documents East Asian cultures (Japan, China, Korea) or Native American (either North or South) cultures being obsessed with White/light skin or European features and behaviors BEFORE European colonization forced it on them? I would have included South Asian cultures in that challenge too but I know that Indo European Aryans brought White supremacy to South Asian millenia ago so they were already conditioned when the British arrived. Most indigenous communities (communities that haven't been indoctrinated by Western civilization) around the world see White or European culture as not only weak and inferior but perverted and unnatural. -
The most effective thing the Democrats can do with their "staff" is go through it with a fine tooth comb and start weeding out those who aren't really sincere in supporting and voting for the progressive issues on the Democrat platform. One thing about the Republicans, demographically they may be smaller in number than the Democrats but atleast ALL of them are inline with eachother and work as a team to pass legislation and win elections. They are far more united from the bottom to the top. Half of of the Democrat party hates and mistrusts the other half. Half of the party is sincere and wants to fight for the issues............ The other half can evenly be divided into - those who are Democrats in name only but are actually conservative racists that pal around with their friends in the Republican party -and those who are sincerely for progressive issues but are too cowardly and weak to stand up and fight for them. Even with the recent election, there were enough Democrats in each state to demand a recount. As you pointed out, far more people voted Democrat than Republican.....so the PEOPLE would have supported a recount. But they didn't get one. Not because of Jill Stein....but because DEMOCRATS refused to stand up and fight for one. Not even so much as an argument or a questioning of the results. Why in the hell were conservative Republicans.....typical establishment figures....talking more about voter fraud and voter suppression than Black and Latino Democrats who've been historical victims of it??????

Legacy? What "legacy" does Obama have besides a continuation of Bush's foreign and domestic policies? Not even the Affordable Health Care Act (Obama Care) can be considered a legacy because all it is is just a re-enforced version of the same policies that existed before to keep the insurance corporations richer at the public's expense. He has no legacy and neither will Trump. They are just different masks on the same corporate faces who really run this nation. If people want to see a REAL legacy that a President has left then they should study the works of Franklin D. Roosevelt and how what he built and initiated 80 years ago (like Social Security) are still benefiting the nation today.

which is why 1/2 the country believes Donald Trump is the answer to ur prayers A lot of people.....infact a lot of BLACK PEOPLE...support Trump believing that he'll be a strong "law and order" President who will solve the crime and violence problem by taking a heavy handed approach and dropping the hammer on criminals. What they DON'T understand about Donald Trump and other Republicans who preach law and order is: a) They don't really mean what they say. Rather than being tough on crime most Republicans actually INCREASE crime because the policies they institute create more poverty and desperation which breeds more crime. b ) Republicans actually BENEFIT from crime waves because when a society is gripped with fear it's easier to control and the people will tolerate a lot more abuses than they ordinarily would. So the oppressive and usually fascist policies of locking people up and slashing welfare and social services which would usually draw outrage from the public is often readily welcomed by society as a way of punishing the "criminals".

THE CRESS THEORY: SURVIVING RACISM IN THE 21ST CENTURY
Pioneer1 replied to a topic in Culture, Race & Economy
In order to survive racism you must first RECOGNIZE it and where it's coming from. Much of the racism you'll encounter in society won't even come from White people! Many Asians, Arabs, Latinos, and even other Blacks are racist and anti-Black people too! This is especially noticeable in the American Asian community. Sometimes I think White leaders are grooming Asians to maintain White/Light supremacy in society. When I look at the Asian American community, many of them have adopted many the suble, snobbish, and smug expressions of racism and anti-Blackness that even most Whites now know not to exhibit! Don't get me wrong, I've met many Asians who were very cool, open minded, and fair. But there are some who almost seem to worship White people and White culture. In a sense...many of them are "out Whiting" White people in terms of attitude and behavior. They've adopted and embraced much of the culture and attitudes many White people abandoned generations ago. Many Asian parents encourage their children to study classical European music and history and use it as a standard of civility. -
Notice I said if the COUNTRY improves under his Presidency...it would still be a lose situation. The way things are structured in the United States, things could very well improve for the majority of people in this nation (including a lucky few Blacks) while STILL leaving most AfroAmericans behind. If you look at the 90s under Bill Clinton, more Black people were appointed to positions of political power in the United States than at anytime since Reconstruction, but at the same time more Black men went to prison than at anytime in U.S. history. The Black family also declined faster during the 90s than during any time in our history. So while things got much better for SOME Black people, conditions as a whole deteriorated for most Black people. Even among those who did good under the Clinton Administration....many of their CHILDREN aren't enjoying anywhere NEAR the success their parents had. They're having a harder time finding jobs, buying houses, and even getting a decent education than their parents. A lot of Black parents can't understand why they are having so many problems without realizing that society is so much different today than it was back in the 90s. The stock market decline of 2008 ereased a lot of the economic gains Black people made in the 90s.....while White America remained relatively unscathed. So things getting better in the United States in general doesn't necessarily translate to things getting better for AfroAmericans. -An improvement in the stock market will not help most Black people. -Donald Trump "gangstering" corporations to keep their white-collar workforce in the U.S. while still letting the industrial and manufacturing jobs go overseas like he did with the Carrier deal....will not help most Black people. -Getting tough on immigration or beng soft on immigration will not help Black people one way or another. Honestly, the only good thing that could come out of a Trump Presidency would be conditions deteriorating so bad to the point that it pisses Black people off and force them into some sort of civil action. It's hard to win in a game that is actually being set up to destroy you. Sometimes it's best to just quit the game altogether.

As long as Black people refuse to accept the fact that their communities are being poisioned on purpose and are being driven to violence and madness....the killing will continue.

Donald Trump could be the next President.
Pioneer1 replied to Del's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Xeon Lol. It was a COMMENT.....not a prophecy....or even a declaration. Notice in my very next statement I even entertained the possiblity that he COULD be elected by saying, "Even if Trump does get in......." -
From what I can see so far, a Trump Administration would be a lose/lose situation for not only Black America but for Latinos, women, and the poor of all races. If the country does poorly under his Presidency, the conditions obviously get worse. However if the country manages to actually improve under his Presidency, you'll never be able to accuse a bigotted White man of racism or sexism again. No one will want to hear it. They'll all point to Trump and say, "Well, they called HIM racist and sexist but look how great he was for our country...so just shut up!" Instead of being condemned for their intolerance, every bigot who seeks a position of leadership will be "given a chance". Racism, sexism, and fascism fill flourish under that scenario.

"and the winner is a "pussy grabber" surrounded by the assholes he's appointing to his cabinet and staff" You know..... I've looked at this statement over and over again and I KNOW there's a good joke in it just waiting to be put together.....but somehow my creativity just hasn't quite formulated it yet, lol. On a more serious note, Jill Stein is spearheading a campaign to recount the votes in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania and the Clinton team is finally getting on board. If fraud and irregularities are found and Clinton actually won those states, she could very well take Trump's spot. However I suspect if that happens, Trump's supporters would raise all types of hell that would make the anti-Trump protests we've been seeing look like Macy's Parade.

Thanks Usain....For Being a Real Man!
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Troy If you agree with Cynique about the double standard then you'll have to agree with me too because I'm the first to admit it and bring it up. There is INDEED a double standard between men and women and it's well warranted because men and women tend to had different desires when it comes to mating. Most healthy men tend to want to spread their seed around to as many women as possible to spread their genes. Most women tend to want to hold only one good solid man that can rely on to protect and provide for her and her offspring. Those different desires lead to different expectations among the sexes that has led to that double standard. Sexuality in this society becomes even more confusing when race is taken into consideration. We're living in a society that accuses Black men of being sexual brutes and potential rapists to be fears, and has historically condemned sex as a sin, in some cases the original sin, and as something low down and base on the level of an animal. But at the same time as we progress from a sexually repressed age to a more enlightened age of freedom and open mindedness where sex is seen as recreationals and even therapudic......now you see more and more Whites trying to claim their sexuality. So unlike the past where there was a blanket condemnation of sex as a necessary evil, today there's a dichotomy to be dealt with in the Westerns psyche. On one end this society has to condemn Black sexuality as hyper aggressive and brutish, while on the other uplifting White sexuality as a form of therapy psychological relief. Cynique Both men and women tend to frown upon women who sleep around, but women tend to be the harshest and most vocal. While a man who sleeps around is said to be confident and full of himself, a woman who sleeps around is claimed to have LOW self esteem and allows herself to be "used" and taken advantage of. But it's usually not men who are saying this...7 times out of 10 it's women sitting on the couch gossipping among themselves about a particular woman. One thing you ARE right about....men generally don't want to hear about a woman's past sexual relationships. It reminds me of the joke Chris Rock told when he said that no matter how many partners a woman may have had before....it'll always be "too many" for the guy she's currently with. -
I celebrated Thanks Giving as a kid because my family did. When I became an adult...I stopped. I didn't stop for political or religious reasons, I just didn't have an interest in it. If I don't find an interest or relevance to something....I don't do it...plain and simple. I don't knock others who DO celebrate, I'll even come over your home for a meal or two if you invite me....but I just don't get all "into it" like so many others do. As far as I'm concerned it's just another day. I don't even celebrate my birthday that much. Others tend to celebrate it more than I do. Friends and family be urging me on to get with the program and atleast ACT excited.....lol.

I saw this story the other day. It is indeed sad. Apparently there was some sort of verbal exchange between them going into an establishment and coming out. I don't want to sound like I'm taking the side of the White suspect who killed the young man however as I get older I often look at myself and wonder how able will I be able to stand up to some of these young thugs and 'hoods if God blesses me to make it to 60, 70s, or even 90. Again...not blaming the young man or his killer....I wasn't there so I don't know WHAT really went down. But I do know that young people don't respect older people like they used to. Older people are routinely disrespected and cussed out by young people of all races. It's not something you see everyday....but you DO see it more today than say a couple decades ago. There was a time young men didn't step to older men even if they knew they could easily take them. They just didn't do it. Older men could cuss and yell all they wanted and the young cats would just smile and take it out of respect.....but today. Today a 15 year old may just knock a 60 year old man out because he can, and take it as a joke. If I were 60 or 70 and had some heat on me, there is no way I'd let a teenage young man step to me whether he was armed or not. But what I find really disturbing was reports that the man shot that boy and then went to have dinner at a friends house like nothing happened. How can you eat after directly after taking another human being's life? The same think happened with the shooter down in Florida who killed the young man for playing his music too loud....he kills him and then goes with his girlfriend to have dinner. Then you go Dylan Roof who goes to Burger King for a meal after killing 8 or 9 people. What's up with these demons?

Thanks Usain....For Being a Real Man!
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Troy Lol....I can't argue with you on Tiger Woods. That dude was/is just plain confused. Ofcourse Usain is not a historian or sociologist to study the marital and sexual habits of various human populations, but he's traveled around this planet enough and is intelligent enough to recognize that there IS a clear difference between how Black (Jamaican) men relate to women and how White (British) men relate to women in their respective societies. He's comfortable with who HE is, and doesn't seem to be burdened with the inferiority complex so many Black men in this society have (even the wealthy and athletic) who feel that they have to live up to White expectations of morality and decency. Most NBA and NFL players like fools get married AFTER becoming millionaires only to love most of their wealth through divorce and lawsuits....and much of this can be attributed to letting others (usually their White coaches, managers, and agents) tell them how to live their lives instead of using their own brains and living by their own terms. I'm not saying that Usain is some sort of social revolutionary trying to start a movement. You're right he IS the typical athlete with a lot of dough and a sexual appetite. However what sets him apart and what I admire is his frankness in proclaiming the virility of the Jamaican (Black) man and how our ways are different and it's just who we are. He's not trying to hide it or "explain" is behavior apologetically, he's saying it bluntly and as a matter of fact which in my opinion is bold and admirable. Infact, I see this as more than just a horny Black man justifying his right to have as much coochie as he wants, I believe it's actually a huge step towards self identity. I believe Black people and especially Black men finally recognizing the fact that there ARE moral/ethical differences between us and White people actually puts us that much closer to reclaiming our own identity as a people and will go far to solve the problems of dysfunction that exists with in the Black family structure and male female relationships. When we as a group finally recognize and accept that we ARE different from White people on a psycho-social level then we'll stop trying to imitate them and their social customs and design and develp ones that will work for us. Cynique I have news for you, lol. It's not the men who shame women for sleeping around.... OTHER WOMEN DO! I think much of what you said about women who sleep various men being labled as tramps is more of a projection of your own thoughts about women who do this than it being the reality of how most men think. If a man calls a woman a whore or a slut, usually her sexual behavior is the LAST thing on his mind and her sexual habits most likely had nothing to do with the insult. Again, women are the ones most likely to lable a woman with a large sexual appetite a "whore" or "tramp"....not the men. Ofcourse there's a double standard and I'd go as far as to say that it's unequal, but much of it is totally fair. How? Because most men WANT to be polygamous while most women DON'T. No one is preventing women from sleeping around if they so wish, but most by nature don't want to sleep around. Most women are programed by nature to only be with and have interest in one man at a time. I don't think that's strange or evil, it's just nature. I and most men respect this. Likewise women shoujld have the same respect for men and understand that it's in the nature of most men to want to be polygamous. I'm personally not asking for a monogamous OR a polygamous based society, I'd rather a society of FREEDOM where everyone has the right to choose whatever kind of relationship they'd like to be in whether it's a gay relationship, a polygamous relationship, a monogamous relationship, or single and by themselves. No "societal norms" to enforce or encourage. Just leave people alone and let them form their relationships how they please and THAT would make me happy. -
Well I have to admit that I haven't been up on the situtation in Flint as I should be. Partly because of some public concerns in my own neck of the woods that I and others have been preoccupied with. But also partly (probably mostly) because of the seeming indifference that a lot of people in Flint THEMSELVES seemed to have about the crisis. We went up there and tried to help people who were busy in the mall shopping for tennis shoes and clothes while so many of the children of the same community had rashes, emotional problems, and other symptoms from the lead contamination. It's clear as a bell that the poisoning was intentional. Even if the Republican leaders in the state capital didn't initiate it with the intent to poison the city, the fact that they knew the water was poisoned for months and STILL allowed the people to consume it without so much as a warning is just as damaging. But I expect that from racist Republicans. What I DIDN'T expect was the indifferent and apathetic attitude of so many of the residents who took that "So what we 'spoze to do about it?" attitude after their children were poisoned. It's hard to feel sorry for people who can still party, go shopping, and shoot eachother down in the street....basically business as usual....after their own children were poisoned. Nationwide....... Black people have known...or atleast had access to the knowledge...that their communities were being poisioned for decades. What steps have they taken to rescue themselves from this plot? How many Black people are studying agriculture and irrigation and medicine so that they can cure themselves and their children and secure a decent living environment for themselves? It's one thing to be a victim once, or maybe twice....you have a natural right to get mad and blame the assailant. But if you're repeatedly being victimized over and over again, pretty soon you're going to have to look at yourself and what YOU are doing wrong that you constantly find yourself in this situation. What else will happen? Unless Black people change their mentality or God changes it for us.....the same shit will continue to happen over and over again.

During an interview with GQ magazine Usain Bolt said something that most Black athletes don't have the guts to say. He challenged the White/Western standards of morality and social ethics by plainly and openly proclaiming that it's part of his culture to have sex with many women. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/more-sports/usain-bolt-culture-asked-womanizing-article-1.2874442 I've been saying for years that MOST (not all) Black men are polygamous and it's part of our nature. It's nothing to "admit" because admission implies guilt, and this is certainly not something to be ashamed or guilty of. If anything, it's a sign of mental and physical health to be the epitome of what nature INTENDED for you to be. It's also a sign of strength and character to buck current social trends especially hypocritical ones that claim sexual "freedom" while at the same time condeming most of those who chose to exerecise it. I have MUCH respect (or in his home of Jamaica we'd say 'nuff rispec...lol) for Usain for publicly stating this. If Tiger Woods.....a well known womanizer...had done the same thing instead of trying to get married and "settle down" in an attempt to imitate his middle aged White colleagues, I would have had more respect for him now. I'm not saying that marriage itself or even monogamy is against our nature. Black people were getting married in Africa before the White race even existed. But the TYPE of marriage structure and the way men and women are expected to interact with eachother in general in Western society is the problem. It's born out of the confusion of a Western psyche that exists even among self proclaimed atheists that condemn sex as the original sin in the subconscious while proclaiming sexual freedom consciously, and since most Black men don't suffer from that subconscious guilt and thus don't have that same dichotomy of confusion....they don't understand the "inappropriateness" of polygamous sexual relationships so frowned upon among so many Whites. I've said for years that Black men need to be who WE are and we need OUR OWN standards to live by. We can't live by another man's standards and expect to be happy or successful. Happiness and success may come to SOME Black men who attempt to live by White/Western standards of morality and ethics, but not for most because much of their standards goes against our very nature as Black men.
