  1. ************************************************************************************ I don't know what "we" should do but I use the "N" word all the time. I use it mostly in reference to white people. So I guess my answer would be, yes, we should use the "N" word, but not (only) towards each other. I also think that this might be a good question to inquire of your blog readers. Does your blog have a comments section? ************************************************************************************
  2. QFT (quoted for truth). I definitely use variations of the word as a term of endearment, frustration, incredulity, etc. Never in a hurtful or negative way I don't think.😁😎
  3. One is physical , the other is mental. Sex has to do with your genitals; gender has to do with your masculine or feminine orientation.
  4. Mzuri I'm not on YOUR case...right now atleast...I'm on Cynique's...lol. Membership has it's privileges. One of the privileges to being in the Black Club is the unlimited use of the words Nigger/Nigga. Now I LOVE niggas...I do....but niggas need to understand this! You can't just let EVERYBODY run around saying it. Power is exclusive, not inclusive. Now I'm sorry to do this to your friend Mzuri but I have to take her pass from her and "put it up" in the closet until she get's her mind right!!!!
  5. Jasmine Reed There are TWO "N" words Nigger and Nigga Nigger is the racist insult Nigga is the term of endearment Both should be used in their proper contexts. Cynique @Jasmine Reed: You can weaponize words, and empower them. To a white person, the word "nigger" is like a bullet they can use to wound, frustrate and anger a black person. Speaking of angering a Black person, lol Since you DIVORCED yourself from the Black race, you lost your PASS to use the word "nigger". You are officially PROHIBITTED from using that word and it's derivatives....until you reconcile your relationship with the Black race. Your Nigger/Nigga Pass has been REVOKED, lol. Do you hear me???? Mzuri I don't know what "we" should do but I use the "N" word all the time I use it mostly in reference to white people. Really? I hear you calling them "whitey" most of the time, lol. Which I don't hear much today. When I hear the word "whitey" I think about a neighbor who used to live down the street from us who paid the boys in the neighborhood to rake leaves or do odd jobs around his building while he'd preach to us about "whitey" and "niggas"...lol. He had property and money and even voted Republican back then...but would constantly talk about White folks and called them "whitey"....lol. "Now wait a minute now... Yall listen to me now... Never let whitey know what you're doing with ya money! When whitey gives you a job... Make sure you show up on time!"
  6. That's one of my favorite Gladys Knight & the Pips songs. There's only one Gladys. But, they sang it. Alternative relationships. Same problems. Folks need to know and love themselves before they get lost in someone else and have to sing sad songs.😁 Of course, some of the best music ever written and recorded comes from heartache and despair. 😁😎
  7. Only in historical, literary or musical context.
  8. @Jasmine Reed: You can weaponize words, and empower them. To a white person, the word "nigger" is like a bullet they can use to wound, frustrate and anger a black person. This puts the white person in a position of power and control because it dictates how a black person will react. The choice to use the slavery-tainted word remains to this day an option for white people and it has never lost its impact. . When the n-word and all of its variations is used among and between black folks, its implication is conveyed by the tone and inflection of the user's voice. And this dynamic is uniquely black. Most blacks want this multi-faceted word removed from black speech because of its painful history and the license it gives white people to use it. Others continue to use it in private conversation because there's just no substitute for it! Of this I am guilty. Or. has the younger generation shown any great inclination to eliminate it from its street slang. Should we use the N word? Well, maybe. As long as the n-word doesn't use us.

Really!? @Mzuri @Pioneer1 Based on what I've been reading, I believe you. Eventually, and after so many have died of Covid after even getting vaccinated, I guess they had to admit to some degree that the vaccine was not as full proof as they had us believe. So true, but depressing. My feelings exactly. It's so hard to know what to do. @Mel Hopkins

  11. ************************************************************************************ @Pioneer1 I agree with you but police make traffic stops so that they can issue citations. Pulling people over and giving them tickets is their bread and butter. And they probably have quotas to meet. ************************************************************************************
  12. Maintaining "law and order" by any means necessary seems to be a higher priority. They're not going to allow citizens to break laws and commit crimes just because there's a big bad virus floating around.😎

************************************************************************************ @Cynique and @Mel Hopkins I have had some glitchy experiences as well. On my iPhone, there are ads that have to be turned off before I can proceed. I think it's the same thing that Mel described. And on my desktop, sometimes when I click on a topic, the page is fogged over and the web address turns to something about google, but it doesn't happen that often. I also don't see the point in displaying ads for things like tractors. Troy was asking why there isn't more participation and I wonder if the ads are having an impact, since some people don't like ads at all. You Ladies should probably contact him directly since he might not read all these comments. ************************************************************************************

@Troy This also happens to me whenever you update the website. In fact, the ad server is causing an additional page before I can get to the content I've selected. It is making the pages load painfully slow -which is frustrating. Please help us!
  15. Mzuri I now call CNN the "Crying News Network" Between Don Lemon and Van Jones coming on crying every two or three weeks over something....those two seem to be part of a tag-team to humiliate Black men. Van Jones cried when Trump became President....then the nicca turned around and cried when BIDEN became President! He'll cry for any damn thing. Just say "good morning" to the clown and he's liable to break out crying. "Ahhhaaa....you said good morning. But it's the WAY you said it...ahhhhh."

Agreed! Be safe! I just read a timeline of a man who was fully vaccinated in March - He died today. His 8 year old daughter was the first to test positive, last month. Then his wife and then him. He ended up in the iCU. The last video he sent talked about not wasting one moment but instead live your purpose. I had a feeling the virus picked and chose its victims. But I thought the vaccination actually lessened the symptoms. I didn't understand why the CDC said to take off your masks - I didn't. All this to say - I'm heart broken. No one knows anything about this virus other than it's deadly - FOR SOME. @Pioneer1 I hope you can find a way to earn income without having to leave the house. When I read that you didn't get vaccinated I was sad. Today, I'm learning we are all in the same boat - vaccinated or not. Maybe it's a good thing you left your job - at least you don't have to worry about those folks breathing on you anymore. Yes, you make me crazy but I'd miss you if you departed. Put some lambs' blood on your door and hope for the best! 😛
  17. Thank you! @Chevdove so glad to read your commentary again! I missed you!🥰

Mzuri Well, according to the CDC and others who even PROMOTE the jab...when it comes to the Delta Variant, it really doesn't matter whether you've got the jab or not you can STILL spread it just as easily. They knew all of this when they were telling people to take their masks off and walk around Wal-Mart a few months ago. They knew that jabbed people were just as likely to pick up the virus and spread it as the un-jabbed. They KNEW this...and hid the information. Their entire goal is to get people to stop worrying and panicking and go back to work, go back to shopping....ignore the dead bodies laying in the street and go back to business as usual. Hundreds of thousands of U.S. troops have not yet complied with vaccine mandate as deadlines near Yeah, I was reading that earlier today actually! Also hundreds of thousands of POLICE OFFICERS around the nation haven't gotten it yet. They said the LAPD chief is refusing to enforce the mandate on his officers because so many haven't gotten it that he doesn't want to risk a mass WALK OUT by the officers. This thing is getting real.....very real. And I say it's about time.
