  1. Amen bro. You're absolutely correct. One day, I'll be able to make a significant point as succinctly as @Delano. In the meantime, please bear with my verbosity. 😁😎
  2. A Republican whose name escapes me once said that the Welfare system is black people's reparation. The Japanese Americans who were interred in concentration camps during World War II were compensated by this country and all of the casinos run by native Americans are the results of reparations these indigenous people have received. i always thought one form of reparations for black people should be to guarantee every black child a free college education at any HBCU or vocational school of their choice, A win-win situation for the schools and the students. A good investment in their futures There are groups out there now actively campaigning for black reparations.
  3. Netflix is going to be streaming a film version of Nella Larson's novella Passing(1930). The story is set in New York City circa late 20s/early 30s. It tells the fictional story of two very light skinned friends Irene Redfield and Clare Kendry. Irene stays within the black community and marries a black man. Clare passes for white and marries a racist white man. Much of the novel focuses on Clare attempting to conceal her identity from husband. For those who have not read the book or looked at the Netflix film, I don't want to be a spoiler and give away to much of plot. But like many tragic mulatto stories, it has a sad, fatal ending. It really ends in a cliffhanger because you don't know whether it is a murder or suicide. Nella Larson should have written a sequel to clear things up. Passing was published during an African American cultural revival in the 1920's (mostly in New York City) known as the Harlem Renaissance. The name is a take off of The Italian Renaissance from the 14th to 17th centuries. Harlem at that time was the mecca of black life similar to the way Atlanta is today. The Harlem Renaissance era focused mostly on literature, art, culture, profession and entertainment. Novels written during that period were Nella Larson's Passing, Alan Locke's The New Negro, Carl Van Vechten's Nigger Heaven, Wallace Thurman's The Blacker The Berry, and Zora Neal Hurston's There Eyes Were Watching God. For the short period it lasted, I would have to say that the Harlem Renaissance was probably the best period in black American history pre-civil rights era

  5. Exactly. Again, exactly. Why? Because this kind of economy will affect ADOS and not in a positive mode. It's not only a matter of who is allowed to cross the boarder but how does it affect us. Absolutely!
  6. I figured as much and appreciate it. I'm just trying to contribute to the conversation.😎
  7. I would have started a new thread but I cannot from this location: https://www.npr.org/2021/11/02/1051720391/boston-mayor-michelle-wu-elected https://triblive.com/local/gainey-grabs-early-lead-in-pittsburgh-mayoral-race/ https://abc7ny.com/mayor-eric-adams-new-york-city-mayoral-race-nyc-curtis-sliwa/11193424/ Michelle Wu (Boston) and Ed Gainey (Pittsburgh) are historical firsts in their respective cities as people of color and a woman (Wu) to serve as mayor.😎
  8. At its best, politics is about groups of people working together collectively to make decisions that ultimately benefit the whole. But, surely, human greed, the lust for money and power has corrupted politics which has led to wars and other destructive results. Right now, politicians are most adept at lining their pockets with money and benign neglect of the people they have sworn to serve. Increasing the freedom and prosperity of the black community comes down to organizing it and codifying an agenda and insuring that it is met politically. Unfortunately, the black community has been splintered in many ways leading to disenfranchisement and indifference with the fallback being individual self-interest which is antithetical to politics. White supremacy clearly understands the game of politics and control it. Black folks are running around in it either clueless or trying to catch crumbles falling off the table. 😎
  9. You did. But you probably forgot. According to you lefties, all Republicans are white supremacists now, even the Blacks, Asians, and Hispanics. Do you see how that doesn’t make any sense? Redeemed? Diverse? Whatever. If you like having a presidential administration filled with a bunch of radical, cooky, nut jobs, that is great. You have the right to your warped opinions. But that is not my preference and I would not let those “people” mow my lawn. Second in command is all Biden should ever have been, especially after Obama said he just mucks everything all up. I hope you are enjoying your higher prices, supply shortages, loss of Constitutional rights, and all the other crap that has been foisted on us. I am not.
  10. Thank you for your feedback. I don’t even know what you think I want to come to pass? Lack of pushback has made you arrogant.
  11. Long polling lines are alleviated with proper numbers of polling stations in each precinct. I can understand polling hours being extended. But the real issue is “Are we going to just silently steal the franchise of the vote?” The Democrats are doing everything in their power to wrest voting from average citizens because they despise them. They look down on them and just want to get their way. The Democrats are the NeoRoyalist party which is why they over responded to Trump. They love dictatorship that they control.
  12. And it seems you are all to willing to repeat the big switch lie. The truth is that the Democrats are just as racist today as they were in the Civil War and White Republicans still don’t see Blacks as equals. To be honest I don’t care what they think as much as what they do. The Republicans are giving the Black community the best opportunity for maximum growth while the Democrats are fostering Blaxploitation and Black Elitism. Americans don’t want royalty or dictatorship. That’s because we believe in the Individual Sovereignty of the Citizen. That’s one of the key principles the Leftist and Black Royalty Romanticists overlook and are repulsed by. I am not in favor of looking for a Black Intelligentsia to save me and my community. It’s something that has to be rooted in sound principles. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness are a sound trinity like Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The Democrats continue to seek to steal our freedom, prosperity and dignity. I most definitely don’t need a Mujadeen like Colin Kapernick being lauded as some hero. Him and George Floyd Promoters and Joy Reid and Don Lemon etc are just blood sucking opportunists. Why would real Nazis confine themselves to any party? Besides White Supremacy is at the core of Leftism. Simply read Engels Origins of the Family. It’s all based on racist Darwinism. You choose Tokenism over serious policy. Obama was the LGBTQ+ President not Black President. Why should I applaud kooks and commies being appointed to the most important positions in Government? Are you that in favor of the destruction of the Black Family? Money and power is what Politics is about. To talk about it being broken is to reject the history of politics since ancient times. We really need to get our processors correctly calibrated to weed from the fallacious arguments. And focus on what’s really important. What will increase the freedom and prosperity of the Black Community. Many people are making valiant efforts but our energies are being siphoned and our communication is not in the best shape.
  13. I believe "Hellos" turn bricks into a neighborhood.
  14. Oh puh-leeze! There you go again re-writing history to fit your own agenda. Everybody knows the Democrats are the party of the Klan. Excerpt from The Cambridge Guide to African American History Your current leader is a segregationist who called Black people “super predators.” Biden has made so many racist remarks over his 50 year career it is nauseating. That old befuddled fool is as racist as they come. And his overseer, Obama, with his purple lips and his giant ears, ain’t hardly cool. Looking like nerdy Urkel.
  15. Bingo. Politics has been corrupted by money. As @Mzuri mentioned in another thread, PACs and Super PACs conrol the game. Then, many politicians are already well off and too far removed from the problems of the average citizen. The funniest thing to me is folks getting caught in the soap opera aspect of politics. 😁 Technologically, regardless of how we vote, they should be able count that sh8t and have winner declared by midnight EST.😎
  16. Do you need a boatload of money to run for office, You are beholden beholden whoever gave you the most money. If you happen to have enough money to fund your own campaign you’ll only be interested in yourself. The entire political process has been perverted beyond repair. Literally everything is subpar, inefficient, and costs more than it should.
  17. What is strange to me about living here in Tulsa is that I hear very little about the GAP Band I work a block away from Greenwood ave and Archer Street which is the G and A the GAP band’s name. I have not heard about Ronnie’s passing may he RIP.
  18. That is because management companies automate everything. Be 5 seconds late and there is and treat to evict notice on your door. I hear you on the crypto mining. Based upon what I know it is difficult and expensive. At least for Bitcoin. i recognize @Mzuri’s excitement. Mzuri keep up appraised of your progress. I’d truly hope you make some profit.
  19. Read her other stuff as well. She was very inspiring and she was from Pasadena,CA!
  20. Sure. Many ADOS feel similarly in that getting reparations is zilch to zero. Attrition has always been the long game white supremacy played in making reparations a non-starter. Generations removed would make it go away. However, regardless of how ADOS is embedded into the fabric of America, we should 1) never allow its original sin to be forgotten and 2) never allow the debt owed to be forgiven. I admire the Jews in that regard. They won't allow anyone to forget about the holocaust and they're kicking azz and taking names and bankrupting anybody who comes against them in the form of antisemitism. When I think of reparations, it's not just handing out checks to ADOS. My dream is the equivalent of nation building. There's a whole plan to be fulfilled. As long as I'm on the planet, I'll remain optimistic that a group of intelligent individuals will rise up like a Phoenix and force America to atone for the sin of slavery and pay up to ADOS. It's not a waste of my time and energy. In fact, I'm working on the music soundtrack while I'm waiting.😁😎
  21. @Cynique, reads like you called and summarized it before 60 Minutes aired the video above. 😁😎
  22. @Troy The U.S. has a process for immigrants to enter our nation. It involves applications, criminal background checks, and fees. I know that you know this already, I am just saying. Whenever these parents complain about being separated, my feeling is that they could be together wherever they came from, and that is where they should have stayed until they could come here legally. All these people crossing illegally are eventually going to be deported. And their raggedy children, too. BTW I don’t care if they are Caucasoids, Negroids, Asoids or Mexoids, enter here legally or not at all.
  23. It's not enough to spend MILLIONS if not BILLIONS of dollars flying racist sexist Afgans to the United States and putting them up in houses and giving them spending money to assault U.S. citizens . Now he's want to give MORE money away to non-Black immigrants to sweeten the deals he's already made.
  24. ProfD Kwame Brown is manhood on two feet. Intelligence, masculinity, a shining example of it. And both him AND King Randall advocate the teaching of skilled trades and other skills to Black boys. King Randall also advocates SEPARATE schools for boys and girls...something I also advocate. Chev Congradulations on your success. Black children can learn EASILY when they have a good and dedicated teacher who can speak their language and is willing to teach them. This is why during Segregation Black kids usually got a BETTER education than they're getting now. The schools may have had inferior books and facilities...but the teachers were SUPERIOR and could relate to the students much better because they cared about them. Black kids who are motivated can learn MUCH faster and MUCH more than White kids. Asian kids are just an EXAMPLE of how much easier children of color can out perform White kids.
  25. The federal government does not observe it as a holiday. At their discretion, a state, local jurisdiction, public or private business, etc., could recognize it as a Hindu holiday and close schools or give employees time off. 😎

@Mzuri, I still have not looked at that guy’s page on my desktop. What is a “PITA?” Nevermind, I just occurred to me. Any who, so maybe (I’ll still confirm it) you found an Amazon page with a link to an external website. Amazon would still is exercise too much control over Black books. what you are failing to consider is the fact that i visited a page with unlinked URLs that i thought you apparently considered hyperlinks. i honestly don’t remember asking you to build authors pages. I’m not saying i don’t do it i just don’t remember. At any rate I did not take into account your knowledge of the web — that should have been obvious. Also consider the fact the many of your previous supporting links did not pan out, so there may have been a bias.
