Both Malik Shabazz (Malcolm X) and Dr. King dedicated much of their lives fighting for AfroAmericans. Were we able to keep THEM safe from their enemies? Oprah is intelligent enough to realize who supports her and who: 1. REALLY has her back and not just holding up a Black fist sign as a form of solidarity. 2. CAN and WILL actually do something to help her when she needs it. ProfD Despite being replaced as a voter block, none of that will make Black folks look at the Democratic party sideways. It's that "lesser of two evils" shit again. Most Black folks....have FINALLY REALIZED that the Democrat party leadership don't give a damn about them. However they realize the alternative "may" be worse if they do nothing and allow the right-wingers to just come in and take over. It's one thing to have someone in office who doesn't think about you at all. It's another to have someone in office who does nothing BUT think about you...and different ways to harm you. More of our people need to start thinking about forming an independent political party . This current setup isn't working for Black folks at all. Facts. From what I hear is that it is the Biden administration that opened the borders especially for people from South America and Mexico. What is going on!? It's true, but it's not JUST Biden. ALL of the President Administrations have done this since atleast back to Ronald Reagan...and quite likely before him. Something is wrong with American government. Actually it's the opposite.... It's working EXACTLY how they want it to. A sista told me the other day that something is wrong with the schools now a days because the kids ain't learning shit. I said no...nothing is wrong with the schools. They're operating exactly how they were designed...to keep the children ignorant. How can this government welcome them in the face of all of the problems already part of our government? Because the same ones allowing them in are the same ones CAUSING the problems you're speaking of. The same ones COMPLAINING about crime and locking people up left and right are the same ones INSTIGATING and PROMOTING crime and criminal activity in society. Like Malcolm X said.... I'm not mad at Oprah. She knows who's buttering her bread.....lol. Suppose she stops catering to White women and start featuring interviews with bruthaz like Sa Neter, Tariq Nasheed, and Dr. Umar Johnson.....how long will she last? If the people who decide whether or not she keeps her network don't take her off, how long will she last before the show starts LOSING money? Part of my philosophy is as long as you're a Black person not doing any HARM....you're OK. Sure I'd LOVE it if she used her platform and influence to promote more AfroAmerican economic and political power, but it's HER money and wealth and she has the legal and moral right to do with it what she pleases as long as it doesn't infringe on the rights of others.

Chevdove I guess it depends on who they are shouting at and what are they saying. I did not think that type of street preaching still goes on. You must not live in a major city....lol. I remember a few decades back when the Nation of Islam men would be in Black communities on the streets but they weren't shouting at anybody or inciting. They would pass out flyers and very pleasant to me anyway. I remember they used to go door to door also. Not as much as the Jehovah's Witnesses, but still more than today. They have centralized their government and developed a military system, schools, trade relations, airports, hospitals, etc. and interact with other cultures that help them and respect them for who they are. So when I think about the groups over here shouting in the streets, well, it may have been effective in the 1960s but maybe today, they may need to try other methods to develop their identity as being Hebrew Israelites. What do you think? What do "I" think? I don't think they should even CALL themselves Hebrews or Israelites....let alone develop that identity....because most of them are neither. I'm still debating who the true Israelites are. Part of me believes they were Caucasians who invaded ancient Middle Eastern civilizations....and part of me believes they were the brown skinned peoples with keen features who populate much of East Africa like Somalia, Eritrea, and Ethiopia. The Hebrews almost certainly were and are Black Africans. The Igbo peoples of West Africa specifically. However most AfroAmericans are NOT descended from Igbo and shouldn't run around claiming it. Most of them don't call themselves that because of any extensive research they've done on their background. They call themselves than because they read and believe in the Bible and want to see themselves as "God's Chose People"....so they adopt that identity. ProfD Man I LOVE reading. My Mother taught me how to read when I was 3 years old and I've been deeply in love with it since.

I came across this old video of a Black female pastor who checked the hell out of Donald Trump in the middle of his speech when he started veering to the left. I said "so wrong" because although I don't do religion....not organized man-made religion....according to the Bible and Christian theology, she shouldn't even BE a preacher or pastor. However it seems to me that this woman has more courage and linear thinking than most of the Black male pastors OR politicians out there because she didn't let him get away with starting up a bunch of off-topic foolishness at her church. She told him straight up....that's NOT what we brough you here for. And didn't break her stride when he started apologizing but COMPLETED her statement as a matter of fact. Why would a woman want to hook up and make babies with a loser? You want to get with someone who can help you and your children in this world. Power enables men to get women who may not be interested in them otherwise. More facts! Just like a pretty woman who may not have anything else going for herself can use her GOOD LOOKS to attract men and be successful. Black men never have a problem expressing theielr desires and getting s8x. Maybe not in OUR generation, but a lot of these younger brothers coming up in their 20s and even some in their 30s are having a lot of problems with women. Attracting them, sleeping with them, etc.... A lot of them are sexually confused themselves and if they aren't a lot of the women they're dealing with are sexually confused. A lot of the times we're thinking of how it was back in the day where all a Black man had to be was able bodied with a job and he could pretty much get 90% of the women he approached. Things have changed now.

ProfD Yes....both of them were strong "old school" Black men who would cuss out the racists to their faces. They had respect not only from other Black elected officials but from the streets, because the people knew they weren't cowards and would fight for them.
