  1. Compare how articulately Ice Cube handles this interview back in 1991 with how most rappers of that age and older conduct themselves today! You can't TELL me a DE-volution isn't going on where the intelligence and articulation of so many of these young men have declined so much over the past 30 years. The stark contrasts are obvious.
  2. I've said it over and over again online and in real life. Lately I've been saying it at my job. People stand there and hear me, many even listen to me, but most of them don't react. I'm not sure if it's that they don't believe me or simply don't care because they got so much going on in their own lives. As AfroAmericans we can have ANYTHING WE WANT as long as you unite and demand it. Really, it doesn't take for all or even most of us to unite. All it takes is a CRITICAL MASS of AfroAmericans in any given setting and racism collapses or submits to our demands whatever they may be. Whether it's government programs, grants, more jobs, higher wages, more business opportunities, sexual favors, etc....history has shown over and over again that all it takes if for us to UNITE and then put forth a clear and uncompromising demand....backed up by a willingness to FIGHT if necessary...for us to get whatever demands we place. It's so frustrating to KNOW this and yet not see it being enacted to the extent I desire.
  3. ProfD It took me a while to understand that Black women are just highly emotional PERIOD. If they are angry...they tend to be VERY angry. But when they are happy and in love....they are the best lovers and the happiest. Emotions are energy, and our people are FULL of energy. It just has to be directed properly.
  4. That's right.....go somewhere and sit down. I know how sensitive you are so I try to handle you delicately, but if you keep playing with this grown man I'll mess around and hurt your feelings by accident, lol. And I don't want to do that.....if I can help it, lol
  5. HIs Republican handlers probably wouldn't allow that to happen. For the same reasons they didn't want Trump and Biden to debate eachother. If you follow National politics in these past 30 years, debates are becoming less and less common because the quality of the candidates....especially the Republican ones...are declining. Debates are an expression of not only one's policies but of how intelligent and quick thinking and witty a person is. When you're promoting airheads for office who's popularity is based soley on looks or charisma or inflammatory rhetoric instead of sound policy.....allowing them to debate is essentially political suicide. It will expose them like vampires in the sunlight. "Who in the hell left these damn windows and curtains open????"
  6. Coggins has an interesting habit of just simply IGNORING questions he doesn't want to answer regardless as how clearly or frequently they are presented to him. ....which is rather rude if not unethical for a regular member of an online community to do.
  7. I'm not an economics expert but to my knowledge "revenue" is the ENTIRE amount of money a corporation takes in.....not just the profit. The REVENUE may have declined but if their OVERHEAD (cost to operate the company) has also dropped significantly then they'll still come out ahead and quite possibly better than when they were receiving more overall revenue. A lot of these corporations have slashed so much overhead that even when their overall income declines they make a killing in profits.
  8. Troy Well..... Not sure about anybody else but certainly @Cynique does, lol. I'm sure the donations I send INFREQUENTLY (I don't think I've sent anything in since last year) doesn't scratch the SURFACE of what it costs to operate a site like this. But I appreciate the gratitude though. Since I haven't bought any books from your site (yet), it's one of the least things a person can do to contribute. I said before and I will continue to say, I think there should be some sort of ENDOWMENT program for AALBC since being a generation old and the largest online book club for AfroAmericans, it's actually an INSTITUTION at this point. BTW....did the letter arrive at your Starfinder Way address yet????
  9. Man, good video. I want to comment on it but why did you post it HERE instead of the Culture/Race section??
  10. Come on @daniellegfny, everybody is waiting for your answer to Del's question. Do you believe that the Coronavirus was a hoax or not?????
  11. Do yall hear something buzzing or flying around???? Where's my fly swatter at??? ....must not be TOO much of a loser if I can't seem to lose YOU, lol.
  12. Coggins Flat-Earthers tend to be Trump supporting Conservatives...lol. Many of them take the Bible literally and think the Earth is flat and covered with a large clear dome over it and water on the other side of the dome instead of outer space.
  13. ProfD And whatever THOSE LIARS tell us, I wouldn't believe it anyway. If they came on television tonight and confessed that Covid19 was a man made disease designed to thin the population......I'd STOP believing that, lol. I'd say if THEY are claiming it, it can't be true. It must have came from nature. It must have been some sort of Divine Punishment they can't control. It couldn't have been man-made if THESE demons are admitting to it....lol.
  14. What I find interesting is how deeply ingrained Wall Street futures and projections are in economics. It's one thing to bet whether or not someone will win, but it's a higher level to narrow it down to exactly by how much.
  15. Cynique Oh, puleeze. With 5 kids, 8 grandkids, 8 great-grandkids, hundreds of FaceBook friends, and the luxurious option of solitude, I'm a winner- looking forward to celebrating my 89th birthday in August. Not to mention that I consider all the regulars on this board my pals - with one dank exception. 👉🏽 💩. Now, go back to doing what keeps your world from collapsing; believing that you are infallible. Yada, yada, yada.... Anyway...... Troy I don't think opposites ALWAYS attract because every man and woman is different. Hell some women don't even like MEN and are Lesbian. So obviously these rules don't apply to everybody. However MOST of the time opposite demeanors of behavior tend to attract the opposite sex. Not grossly opposite but within the range of "normal"...they tend to attract the opposite sex because a contrasting attitude tends to compliment one's personality. Also, many women like trying to "change" a man into her way of thinking. They love the challenge. So that's how it's often attractive.
  16. Everybody but you....lol. You obviously don't think YOUR race is superior. .....unless you're actually White, lol.
  17. That's right.....GO Herschel...go! Get the hell out of the way so that Warnock can keep his seat and atleast maintain the prosperity of Black Georgia. GO Herschel! Go on and sit your funny ass down somewhere....lol.
  18. Can I please have the scriptures in their exact context so that I may examine them and see how accurate they supposedly are?
  19. Coggins Large numbers are black. That's true in the New York/New Jersey area but when you leave that region and go through out most of the country, the majority of the Latinos are NON-Black. Infact, most of the Latinos in Florida are White.
  20. Coggins The Universal laws are NOT synonymous with the laws of most nations, especially Western nations. In nature, you stock up on as much food as you can. In this society, if you go to the store and stock up on food without paying you may end up arrested and in jail because the "laws" don't allow it.
  21. The Bible doesn't teach sex. It barely even mentions it except for using vague terms like "went into" and "knew"; but it certainly doesn't teach you HOW to have sex. I think REAL sex education should be taught where people are actually taught HOW to properly and safely have great sex. It shouldn't be forced, but the option should be available for those who want to learn.
  22. Problem is....that's not ALL he said. The nigga said their "bad air" is floating over here to the United States while our "good air" is floating over there to China. That's not how weather patterns work and you don't have to be a meteorologist to figure that out. He has a HISTORY of saying ridiculously stupid and simple minded things.
  23. Yeah, but something tells me it's not hard to "amaze" you. You're amazed by a Chia Pet...... cha cha cha Chia I'm actually curious as to your answer to Delano's question about the virus being a "hoax". I know you saw it.
  24. 🤭 If your ONLY friend is some part-time astrologist who lives way down in Australia, you should be the LAST person to call somebody else a "loser"....LOL
  25. @KENNETH Yeah, you need to post more often. You can help clear the "bad air" that sometimes accumulates around here....lol. Dank, musty air that give off "funny vibes" when you walk through it. ((shivers)). Your insightful input is MUCH appreciated.
