I remember this clearly because it bothered me. both times the other kid was in a gang. I had no one backing me and I know I would have won both fights. In the moment I felt like I was being a coward, but the reality was, I was being smart. Now, if I was being bullied regularly, it would be a different story. You have no choice, but to fight. You have to know when to fight and you have to know when the back down. Maybe regroup and come back when you are in a stronger position. Today being in a stronger position means getting a gun, which is why there are so many shootings over bullshit. I used to always say I could never be a slave. You’d have to kill me MF! But as I got older, I realized is very easy to say that when you’re not actually living it.

I don’t have the data. I don’t think anyone does, but I’m sure this is not true. I say that because I look at a lot of romance and I do see white men on some books. They are in the minority of them and I’ve never seen an Asian man paired up with the black woman in a romance book. You can scan these 500+ Romance titles I’m sure asian man, Black woman, romance novels must exist but again I’m also sure you’ll find more Black men than Asian men paired up with Black women and romance books — especially if they’re written by Black women. I don’t see anything wrong with non-black men paired with black women in romance novels. Now, if non-black men and black women would’ve majority of the titles I would be concerned certainly, but those aren’t the books that I’m seeing, and I look at more books than most.

Did you see the video of Puffy (in his 50s) kicking that girl (age 19) while she was down on the ground -- for having the nerve to try to escape? After the alleged incident he said he was innocent and accused the girl of trying to get paid. When the video came out, he then apologized. Ignoring everything else, does this behavior make Puffy a monster? Yeah, in my book it does. If it were your daughter, I'd bet you'd agree. How should he be punished for that? I dunno... Well, this was a much more damaging storm. I thought the retention pond behind my home would reach my house. It would have with a couple more hours. The preserve next to me was completely flooded. The winds were as strong as I’ve ever experienced. I risked becoming “Florida man” to see what I felt like outside 8-) I a the tree roof tiles and a shutter. Other than that I faired pretty well. I never lost power and today is a beautiful day.

This should’ve happened a long time ago. I’ve written about the subject going back 15 years. Google really screwed up the World Wide Web. At this point the damage that they have done as beyond repair, but the point is moot because their search engine will become increasingly irrelevant in the age of AI. I Use ChatGPT more than I use Google’s search engine now. Part of the reason is that Google search results page is cluttered with misleading advertisements. I’m sure the problems I have with Google today will emerge with ChatGPT down the road. And the government won’t do anything about that until it’s too late too

Sorry for the delayed response @Delano It too me sometime to things of this I tried to learn that I knew would be challenging. In the past decade it has been learning to play the piano and learning to speak Spanish. In both instances it was due to an inability/unwillingness to dedicate the time. But as you seemed you suggest I don't have this problem with lovers or work. I attribute the difference to just one this being more important to me that the other...

One of the rare times I agree with @Pioneer1 without reservation. What an interests me is, why is Eric Adams is likely on his way to jail but Clarence Thomas can take far more from people, clearly bribes, to do things like overturn Roe v. Wade but not be sent to jail too?

There are many people who know far more about the Bible than I do who would disagree with you. Clearly, the Bible was used to justify American slavery. But there are those who say that the Bible was perverted to justify the enslavement of Africans. if anything I would tend to agree with the latter. i often struggle with your analogies as they are often apples and oranges. Comparing the Bible a work that is thousands of years old and the foundation of a religion followed by billions of people renders a genre of music less than 40 years old insignificant in comparison I do however know about hip-hop than I do the Bible, I don’t think gangster rap, encourages violence. I think it glorifies it and maybe normalizes it, but I’m not convinced that it would take otherwise nonviolent individuals and make them violent. I’ve listened to gangster rap since it was invented and it’s never moved me, or anyone I know, to violence. But I don’t really know. If you can cite a study that shows gangster, rap, causes violence, I’d be willing to check it out.

One I disagree with the premise of your statement, and two clearly there would be differences between Koreans who left Korea for the United States and those so did not come, namely a desire to live with non-Koreans. Which would probably make them less racists. So you base your opinions on not the people living in the countries, you expose opinions on, but instead hearsay from people who don’t even live there. … OK
