  1. Millons of AfroAmericans still believe it.
  2. Motown put its artists through a finishing school to present a clean and articulate image. Marvin Gaye was a product of it.
  3. Correct. No handbook or proclamation required when everything is being controlled by your own folks in one way or another.
  4. Entertainment. These folks are actors who get paid to stir the pot. They don't believe half the foolishness of which they speak. Most of the conspiracy theories and other rhetoric they talk about is a smoke screen to avoid the real elephant in the room. None of them talk about dismantling the system of racism white supremacy. Black folks with a platform cannot afford to talk about real issues without getting permission from their paymasters.
  5. Always great to read that you're doing well. Thanks for checking in on the gallery.
  6. White folks are unified in the maintenance of the system of racism white supremacy. They enjoy the privilege and benefit of it.
  7. I'm still here. It's cold around these parts but thankfully we didn't get any snow and not too much ice from the rain.
  8. I don't know how the Ukrainian President Zelensky was on the frontlines of the battlefield yesterday and jumped on a train to Poland and a plane to the US. Pictured above, President Zelensky is addressing the U.S. Congress. Of course, he thanked the US for billion of dollars and weapons. This war is interesting especially considering the number of journalists and camera crews running around in Ukraine. Then, the Ukrainian president can make TikTok videos and visit other countries in the middle of a conflict. I refuse to believe the Russians can't catch president Zelensky. They don't want him. That's not the goal of this dust-up.
  9. Before establishing any non-familial relationships, AfroAmerican men and women should have their sh8t together (mental, physical, financial, spiritual) to the highest degree. Individual self-esteem should be very high. Low self-esteem is toxic and leads to dysfunctional behaviors and it is destructive to healthy relationships. A sound mind and body; high self-esteem and confidence produces positive and constructive results within humanity. Winners *train* to be the best. When well-balanced human beings get together, good things happen for the greater good of humanity overall.
  10. Do yourself a favor and Youtube Jesse Lee Peterson on the Dr. Phil Show. It is hilarious and sad. The audience even looks befuddled.
  11. Jesse Lee Peterson is a modern day, 1st class coon and pitch man supporting racism white supremacy. The garbage that comes out of the man's pie-hole would be more comical if he wasn't so serious about it.
  12. White folks who do not practice supremacy still benefit from it in one way or another. That's why very few of them denounce it. Both sides of the political aisle are always looking for dirt on each other. That former congressman was an idiot on several levels.
  13. No need for apology bro. You have a right to accept or reject any agenda, value or belief accordance with your own understanding. That's one benefit of living in this part of the western hemisphere. The liberal media does seem to have a fixation on AfroAmericans within the alphabet soup community.
  14. As I mentioned in another thread, ideally, AfroAmericans should be able to run a self-sustaining community (city, state or country) from top to bottom without needing help from any outsiders. Once the program is tight (codified and unified), only then would it make sense to pursue strategic alliances that benefit AfroAmericans equally.
  15. @Pioneer1, as I mentioned, there's no shortage of dysfunction among AfroAmericans. I often refer to the most dysfunctional and toxic as n8gglets. AfroAmericans should not embrace negativity nor glorify it ignorantly. Without airing our dirty laundry and putting them on blast, there's a lot AfroAmericans need to do internally to fix our problems. It starts at home. STEM based careers and businesses are crucial to success especially within the system of racism white supremacy. We should be encouraging more AfroAmerican students to concentrate on science, math, medicine, engineering and computer programming. Additionally, we need more AfroAmerican skilled workers in all trades and farmers too. Ideally, AfroAmericans should be able to run a self-sustaining community (city, state or country) from top to bottom without needing help from any outsiders.
  16. That's a false narrative that's been leveled at AfroAmericans since the 1980s. While there is some dysfunction among AfroAmericans as a result of poverty and drugs, it's disingenuous for anyone to think or believe AfroAmericans as a whole are less industrious than any other group of people. America has purposefully exported jobs overseas reducing the number of opportunities available to blue collar workers. One cannot expect skilled workers to work for less than their unions will allow. Companies are undercutting tradesmen by using non-union workers. *Illegal* immigration is allowed for this very reason. That's why the folks who control money are not complaining. They sit back and let racists and unemployed folks squabble over who should be allowed into the country. Again, pay attention to the conditions that paint the false narrative about AfroAmericans. It's another trick of the system. Then, take a tour of the colleges and universities throughout the country. There's plenty of AfroAmericans on those campuses. Same goes for the workforce. The main areas AfroAmericans are coming up short is entrepreneurship, pooling our wealth, codification and unification.
  17. Armed AfroAmericans popped up in a few places that allow open carry firearms mainly because white folks tried to intimidate protesters by brandishing their weaponry. So, a few brothas with legal firearms showed that we can get down like that too if necessary. It was a statement more than a movement.
  18. Spoken (written) like a true old man. Every generation has a similar complaint about the next. Keep in mind that we were under 25 years old while bumping Gangsta rap music and watching violent azz movies. Our elders thought we were all going to h8ll in handbaskets. Yet, here we are as middle-aged men. We weren't motivated to rob, steal, kill and sell drugs as a result of music and movies. Don't get me wrong...plenty folks have gone on to be negative but the majority of them were conditioned by environmental factors moreso than entertainment.
  19. If you read all of the posts, there's plenty dialog that isn't a complaint and could be constructive. However, if you only choose to focus on the posts that get under your skin that's a different concern.
  20. Slavery was more brutal in Caribbean but those white folks could not sustain it. So, they left a small group to run the island nations. That's why island nations are still sending money to the British monarchy, Dutch, French or whoever controls their resources.
  21. @Pioneer1, America rewards every other group of people of color because they serve as a buffer between white folks and AfroAmericans. No other group of people in America is affected by the system of racism white supremacy to the same degree as AfroAmericans. Other groups of people of color do not feel entitled to an American inheritance because they didn't earn it. They're just happy to be in this country. AfroAmerican politicians and leaders should be more aggressive and diligent in using their position of comfort to dismantle the system from within especially if they haven't been compromised by it.
  22. Slavery outside the US was different. The Europeans did some brutal sh8t but the island peoples didn't It fall in line. The Europeans didn't press the issue in the same way as white American slaveowmers. Instead of enslaving the island peoples, Europeans took control of their resources into perpetuity and left them in poverty.
  23. @Pioneer1, you're right....white folks do throw each other under the bus. But, they're always on code about it as you mentioned in knowing how, when and who to sacrifice. More importantly, non-whites definitely do not benefit from white folks going against each other. Look no further than those fools storming the U.S. Capitol and the outcome.
  24. Lighten up bro. If I thought there was an agenda behind these movies, I would not have seen them and would have been posted a similar concern. While I do believe some movies and music could contain subliminal messages, I listen for it while enjoying the artistic value. It's no different from violent movies and gangsta rap. We have to be mature enough to separate fact from fiction. When it comes to art in general, we should be able to acknowledge and appreciate talent, imagination and creativity.
  25. Hopefully, the WNBA will increase player salaries so that they don't have to play overseas in order to supplement their income.
