  1. ProfD If Fat Joe has a beef with Tariq, he's old enough to know better than to clap back publicly. But you know how rappers are. If retaliation for the so-called "slight" or "diss" wasn't done in public, it's like it wasn't done at all. Troy I did not know the issue with Fat Joe has to do with Tariq until now -- probably not worth the time to investigate, but if I get a minute I'll check it out Don't worry, you ain't missing too much...lol. It'll probably be a bit confusing because much of the beef does NOT involve Tariq anymore but people like Lord Jamar (Brand Nubians) who jumped into the mix. Briefly.... It started when Tariq did a documentary saying that Hiphop was a product of AfroAmerican culture and that the Latinos (particularly the Puerto Ricans of New York) had very little influence over it. Many Puerto Ricans took offense to this, including Fat Joe. He had some words for Tariq....and Tariq had some words for him..and they've been going back and force since with others jumping into the mix.
  2. richardmurray Yeah, I saw that picture earlier today when I googled the name. A White woman from New Jersey. Umph.... As far as mental illnesses go. Crazy is real. A lot of people tend to conflate extreme or eccentric behavior with being crazy because it's out of the norm or ordinary. However the actual definition of crazy is merely an extreme or severe form of mental illness where you're detached from this Reality. ProfD A person wouldn't be homeless in those states. Yes, and no. Most people living in those type of states who lose everything and know they're going to be out on the street...err uh...road...corn field....usually make plans to take the next Greyhound the fuck OUT of that area to the nearest major city to live that type of life. Besides going to jail and being taken care of in there, there is nothing else there for them without money, a home, and their own transportation. In places like Wyoming and Idaho, you not only need your own place to stay but you also GOTTA have a car. You can't rely on a subway or bus system to get you back and forth. So a person facing homelessness... If they were in...say....Wyoming...they'd find a way to get to California or Portland or Seattle to bum around in. If they were in the Dakotas, they'd most likely make their way to Chicago or possibly even Minneapolis to bum around in and dream about some day getting back on their feet and going back home.
  3. Troy Again, how do you know that they have not been trying to communicate with us, be we simply don't have the ability to receive, interpret, or comprehend their communication. I don't. However trying to establish some parallel between us and worms with ETs and us is a little speculative because it assumes that they don't understand our languages and modes of communication. They may indeed know and clearly understand all of our methods of communication and all of our languages! Infact, many people who HAVE had encounters with them say that they tend to communicate with humans TELEPATHICALLY by passing any linguistic miscommunications.
  4. ProfD Sure. Nuyoricans are linked to Hip-Hop culture. But, they still don't get a pass to be disrespectful towards us. More facts. However this is the thing with the Fat Joe controversy.... I don't know the ins and outs of the entire situation but from what I understand Fat Joe...who I'm NOT a fan of...was criticizing Tariq Nasheed and those who follow HIM under the blanket label of "FBA". He didn't recognize FBA as a "lineage" as Tariq and a lot of others like to put it. He...like many others...recognize FBA as those PARTICULAR AfroAmericans who ascribe to the ideology of Tariq I'm not saying who is right and who is wrong, but I didn't take his criticisms as a diss towards our people in general but as a diss towards THOSE FBA who came after him. Being from the streets, from The Bronx...I wouldn't expect any other response from him or anybody else who comes from that environment. Ofcourse he's going to clap back when he feels he's being attacked. What did people expect for him to do? Now.... As so often is the case, especially with some of OUR people who tend to be immature and overly emotional. 2 men have a beef. 2 groups have a beef. Instead of sitting back and letting those 2 groups go at it...niggaz want to JUMP IN taking sides or take it personal and claim Fat Joe was dissing ALL OF BLACK AMERICA even if he was JUST going after Tariq and his followers. Like if somebody disses ONE person in your neighborhood you want to react as if they dissed YOU and the ENTIRE hood. Just jumping up in the fight. A lot of Latinos are the same way. I'm not letting them off the hook. As I said earlier, IS Fat Joe a racist Latino culture vulture? Probably so. But I call balls and strikes as I see them. I don't believe he went after Black America, he went after Tariq and his other detracters....BX style...using "nigga" and cussing like one would expect somebody from the streets would do. Why should I or any other AfroAmerican now jump in and attack all Latinos...especially Puerto Ricans...because of some beef between him and Tariq? I'm not. Why should AfroAmericans and Puerto Ricans now go to war with eachother over this? They shouldn't. Maybe there ARE issues we need to hatch out with eachother...but THIS ain't one of them. I'm telling you man, Tariq is really getting into shit lately. Tariq Nasheed is a brilliant brutha and has done a lot of great work, but I have to say that he's being doing a lot of harm lately the way he's been going around and stirring up unnecessary problems not only among Black folks through out the Diaspora but even with the non-Black Latino community in the WAY he's going about things. You can set the record straight without pissing on people and dissing them or dismissing their efforts and contributions. Going after Africans and making fun of them. Going after Caribbeans and making fun of them. No, many of them don't like Black Americans, but the shit HE'S doing ain't helping that. Nigga'll diss Africans, Caribbeans, and Latinos all day long calling them anti-FBA and collaborators with the White man...and when it's all said and done GO TO WORK for White folks and sit down and eat with them! While dissing other groups for doing the same thing.
  5. Cities like New York, San Francisco, and Boston are actually better for homeless people than most other cities in America because they tend to be 24 hours. -The subways are almost always running so you always have a warm place to sleep or hide out in. -Some building or establishment is almost always open for you to hide out or hang out in. -Plenty of people to beg from. -And because of the large crowds, you don't stick out like a sore thumb. While it may not be perfect, it beats being homeless in a cold desolate place like North Dakota or Wyoming.
  6. frankster Spiritual Awakening What does that mean? My understanding of Spirits is....They don't need sleep and likely don't sleep. So why would they need "awakening"? The lips of Wisdom are closed except to the ears of Understand.....He who has ears to hear let him hear. In short it is a method of preservation of the knowledge. In MY opinion.... Important knowledge should be provided for those who NEED it. Not just a select few who can "decipher" the hidden codes. In other words.... If a man has a disease and needs the knowledge to heal himself, that knowledge should be given to him in a clear and concise way that he understands it and can apply it to help himself. Don't cloak it and shrouded it up in a bunch of mysteries and parables that ONLY priests and religious scholars who speak 3 different languages can understand. They don't even NEED the information anyway...HE does. Give it to the man who needs it in a way that he can apply it to heal himself! Are You Sure???? No Your Cup runneth over...your mind is already full - No human's mind is "full" because it's constantly expanding. In Other words.... you think you know all the answers. Lol.... Where and when did you get THAT impression? When you are ready the teacher will appear Neely Fuller Jr. said a man is ready for the answer when he asks the question.
  7. Del Are you referring to Constantine. No I'm referring to the Bible itself in Acts 11:26, "and when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass that for a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught many people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." I initially said Asia Minor Turkey but the part of Asia Minor where Antioch is located is in what is today called Syria. At any rate.... It's not in Egypt/Kemet Troy so you disagree with the Brother in this Video (previously linked above) and virtually every African scholar who has written on the subject? If they're running around claiming that Christianity came from Kemet, then they are NOT SCHOLARS. If you ask me do I disagree with doctors who say that the flu is caused by people sleeping with their windows open in the Winter time- I'll say they are NOT DOCTORS to begin with. A true doctor KNOWS that the flu is caused by a virus, not a cold draft. Same with this. A TRUE scholar putting out TRUE information knows the origins of Christianity and wouldn't put out such garbage. The Bible and history are crystal clear as to the origins of the religion we now know as Christianity. Taking "certain aspects" of ancient Egyptian religion and mysteries and incorporating them into your religion is NOT the same as that religion being of Egyptian origin. That's like saying Hiphop originated in France because so many of the early rappers used to rock Adidas clothes and shoes. Infact, the word "Christianity" itself, isn't even an Egyptian (or any other African) term. It's based in the Greek word "Christ/Christos". So how are people just going shoe-horn it in and MAKE it be an African religion anyway? Come on, we're not going to play that game. Give the White man back his religion and stop playing, lol.
  8. ...as much time as they needed me to, if they'd ask. Worms and humans come into contact with eachother constantly. They may not understand us, but they are totally aware of our presence when we come into contact and there is no mystery.
  9. So...where ARE the tapes? So far all we've been getting in the media are ALLEGATIONS and RUMORS. No hard core evidence of these sexually perverted parties or who've actually participated. We did see a video of Puffy chasing some girl down the hallway and whooping her ass but that's not what he's being charged with.
  10. One of the reasons I don't believe in religion is because it allows for too much interpretation and speculation. If your religion is authentic, then the Deity you believe in should....in my opinion...CLEAR UP any confusion Themselves among the people. The fact that HUMAN BEINGS are sitting around arguing over scriptures and trying to make sense of them instead of the Deity that those scriptures are centered around, appearing before them to clear up the confusion is very telling. Along similar lines with the UFO's....... Most of the confusion about Who and What the UFOs are and what Their mission is can EASILY be cleared up....in my opinion...by Them simply manifesting Themselves before the people and making it clear Who They are and what Their mission is. No need for 2nd or 3rd party explanations....THEY can do it!
  11. ProfD glad you decided to pop in and chop it up with the family.😁 Ah man, so busy trying to make things happen over on this end. Good to sit down and politic with the fam when I have the time and opportunity. People are surprised because they don't want to believe other people are that ignorant or naive or petty. Actually, I wouldn't say these other men are ANY of those things. Infact..... I would say that when it comes to THAT particular issue...being protective of their women...they actually have MORE sense than the average nigga out there. They don't like seeing other men fucking with their women. I can't get angry with them over that. I know why. They're racist and they're jealous and self conscious; but still, their position makes sense. What DOESN'T make sense is how so many Black men DON'T feel that way about OUR women and seeing other men fuck with OUR women. Especially given the history of what our people have went through not only in this nation but around the world. Puerto Rican rapper Fat Joe was given a Hip-Hop pass. Black folks should have never allowed him to feel comfortable talking about us recklessly though. Yeah, that entire Fat Joe situation seems to be overhyped in my opinion. I saw PART of the interview he did with Math Hoffa. Although Fat Joe is probably a racist Latino who vultured off of Black culture....in my opinion the part that he said wasn't as offensive as a lot of the FBA extremists are claiming it is. Puerto Ricans say "nigga" all day long in New York. They've BEEN saying it....for decades. They've BEEN practicing aspects of AfroAmerican culture for decades. This isn't new. I didn't hear him use the hard "er" on the end of it. My thing is...if we are going to feel that way, don't "all of a sudden now" get this way. We should have BEEN on this decades ago. Same goes for white actor Michael Rapaport. He was talking real greasy when the Gaza sh8t popped off. True. Rapaport felt that Black folks should have sided with the Jews. Nope. Hold your own nutz. 😎 Facts
  12. Frankster The Message is true... What is "the message"? As to the Story...it is a mystery wrap in a mystery So why share it with the public if the public will not understand? All human life is female then male? Based on MY limited understanding, it starts off as NEITHER until it develops into one..the other...or on occasion both. Ask the right question. And ask the right PEOPLE. Don't ask important questions of people who will only confuse you with MORE mysteries and fables that are irrelevant to the problems you face in this world. What does a Virgin giving Birth have to do with you? Very little, which is why I no longer believe in it. Maybe there in lies the Answers Perhaps this should simply read: Maybe there in lies the Answers....lol
  13. ProfD I was thinking that, but I also thought there was another back story that I wasn't aware of...lol. He was from Georgia so of course most well-to-do White families in the South had Black nannies raising and even breast feeding their children.
  14. Troy Asia Minor, or what is today known as Turkey.
  15. A quick aside that has little to do with the subject of the thread..... No wonder so many people are climbing mountains, walking through hot ass deserts, and swimming across dangerous rivers just to come to America. They sit around in their shacks and mudholes with no shoes on and watch Black men riding around in shades and in nice cars running their mouths, eating sandwiches, singing, dancing, fucking with women, making tons of money, hopping from one job to the next....doing all kinds of fun shit. And they think to themselves....if THOSE niggas can live like that....SO CAN WE.....LET'S HURRY UP AND GET TO AMERICA. Black folks are the BIGGEST and BEST advertisement for the United States....lol. Where else do you see so many Black men and women looking good, dressing good, eating good, and riding around in nice cars talking shit on videos?
  16. It's so hard to believe that actually happened. Not that it couldn't. It's something you don't want to believe a human being could do to another while others stand around doing NOTHING to stop it.
  17. ProfD Kev actually taught reinforced the principle that you should actually check people out and what they have to say FOR YOURSELF instead of going by what others say of them or even watching little snippets and sound bites of their work. When Kevin first came out, I thought the dude was a paid agent of the White racists to further divided Black men and women from eachother. That was based on what I HEARD about him and especially the little quick videos and snippets that people would post, usually of him saying something inflammatory. But when I actually sat back and listened to his entire show.....I actually began to appreciate his commentary. Not only did I like his analytical approach to the problems between Black men and women, but I liked how he had a strong "pimp hand" and was able to intellectually lay the smack down on his female detractors if need be. Although the "manosphere" claimed him, he wasn't part of it. Many if not most off those dudes are angry at women and seek to debase and insult them, while Kevin sought to REFORM and REFINE them.
  18. But for real bro....I DID NOT type "near one"....lol. I know for an absolute FACT that I typed "neither one". I proof read the shit before I sent it.
  19. The media just identified the NAME of the woman who was burned.....Debrina Kawaam. I haven't seen a picture of her yet though so I'm not sure what race she is. I haven't heard Trump or any other right-winger talk about this disturbing incident despite the suspect being an illegal immigrant. The fact that an innocent woman can be set on fire by an illegal immigrant but THAT....of all things...doesn't inspire the anger of the MAGA crowd makes me willing to wager a hefty sum of money on what race that woman may actually be.
  20. Why....in 2024....about to be 2025....is this brother "surprised" at the way Latino men feel about seeing Latina women with Black men? He's not the only one surprised, I'm surprised too. But I'm not surprised at THEM. I've known how most of them felt about that for decades. Since my early 20s. What surprises ME is how naive and ignorant some of our brothers STILL are despite 400 years of having to deal with the jealousy and hatred of their racist open enemies. Why are niggaz still walking around like dumb ass squirrels totally oblivious to the fact that most White and many non-Black men are jealous of and fear the sexual potency of Black men and have a strong distaste for seeing them with their women?
  21. A lot of Black people loved the old descendant of peanut farmers. It's interesting how history often repeats itself. Just like Obama gave us Trump....Carter gave us Reagan.
  22. Troy Since you compared the two..... I think Kevin Samuels was faaaaar more serious than Tommy Sotomayor. Tommy is more of a "shock jock" type of commentator who says and does provocative shit JUST to get people riled up and emotional. He's intelligent and insightful when he WANTS to be; but if he needs a bunch of views or needs to hype up a future show, he'll say inflammatory shit against Black women or against Black folks in general and sit back and wait for people to cuss him out. He craves the attention. Kevin was more psychological and I would actually put him more in the category of a "therapist". Although he was far more opinionated and often times offensive than an actual licensed psycho-therapist would be...lol. I liked his analytical approach, but I didn't like his promoting the more traditional Western version of what a "family" should be.
  23. At this point, one of the best things AfroAmericans can do is LEAVE both the Democrat and Republican parties and form our own party. It's being made crystal clear that near one has OUR interests in mind.
