  1. Do you STILL consider yourself agnostic?
  2. ProfD What do Black people gain from our people being viewed as s8x symbols? For men: It generally means more sex for us For women: It generally boosts their self esteem for them to know they are indeed desirable in a world that calls them ugly More importantly, they need pathways to prosperity and wealth. Ultimately, a lot of the desire to generate wealth comes from the desire to have sex or be more sexually appealing. Especially for men. Many men work hard, buy expensive cars, even buy houses....to impress women and be seen as a "good catch" and successful. Why? More opportunities for sex. This isn't the ONLY reason obviously, but it's a major reason for most men. Outside of the instinct for survival, the instinct to have sex and reproduce is among the strongest. It's cool from an entertainment perspective but didn't benefit Black folks in terms of wealth building. I'm sure the pole dancers and strippers at any Black themed titty-bar will beg to differ with you. Regardless as to how one feels about it (I personally don't have a problem with it) most sistas who go that route will bear witness that pole dancing and other forms of sex work DOES generate a lot of money. Now if they're using that money to buy property and other forms of wealth...that's their business. Sex sells. Always has....always will. Black folks need to own and control more of the media for those narratives to change. More importantly, they need to be more perceptive and realize when White folks are trying to humiliate them and make fools out of them. Even if we don't control the media we can atleast refuse to participate in these humiliation rituals that demean our people and cast them in a negative light. I remember years ago SNL did a skit where a White man was in prison and 2 Black men walked up on him and all 3 joked about him being raped. Why would Black men even PARTICIPATE in a skit where THEY are seen as rapists of White men? The entire world is watching this shit. Why would any man with good sense and average intelligence ALLOW the world to see him in this light, unchallenged??? It makes no sense, unless you're dealing with somebody who is simply intellectually deficient.
  3. White men don't look at being bald the same as we do. Since the late 80s (Unless you were on the West Coast) that predominant haircut among Black males has been the bald fade. Since so many Black men got their hair cut to nearly bald anyway....actually GOING bald wasn't too big of a jump, lol. I've also heard from a lot of women that Black men look much better with bald heads than White men. But me...I gotta have hair, lol.
  4. That was the entire purpose of the 13th Amendment. You can't be forced to work EXCEPT by conviction of a crime. Slavery wasn't outlawed in the United States; it was just REFORMED under new conditions.
  5. Troy Did you know credit card sipe fees was their second largest expense behind salaries? I didn't know that. But there is something I HAVE been noticing this past year...... I kind of fell in love with the availability of "tapping" my debit card instead of swiping it through the machine but some establishments don't give you the option to treat your purchase as a "debit" or "credit" when you tap. About half of the establishments that offer a "tapping" as a payment method just automatically treat my debit card like a credit card. Some of them even print out a copy for me to sign. I'm sure they're making more money from transactions being labeled as "credit" than "debit" because the money sits in the account longer where as debit transactions immediately draw the money out. This system is broken. I'm not even sure if it is repairable. Are you sure "broken" is the correct term? Or RIGGED? "Broken" implies that it's not working properly or the way it was designed. However "rigged" implies that it was designed to cheat and mistreat people. Now the 33-year-old Muslim socialist in NYC has won the democratic nomination for mayor. Names. Titles. Yeah, yeah, yeah....... Neely Fuller Jr. warned us about all of these names, religions, political affiliations, and economic systems. He can CALL himself a Muslim....but in Fridays he's going to hold meetings and take care of business like the Jews and Christians He can CALL himself a Socialist but he's going to do business with the billionaires and cater to them and try to promote more capitalism in New York to boost the economy. People can identify with whatever they like or call themselves whatever they want, as long as they continue to bow to the will of the White racists in power who help them get in office. I would have rather seen Eric Adams in that seat, but hey..........
  6. Well, I must STAY on your mind....given your living conditions...lol. "I just saw a rat with a long black tail... and it reminded me of you."
  7. ProfD D'Angelo was a shy dude. Obviously, he did the video but didn't really think he had to be s8x symbol. I'm glad he did it. We needed that. We actually need another "D'Angelo" type brother today to offset some of the White male sex symbols being promoted so heavily in the media. The Black youth today don't know what they're missing because they're growing up in a SO-CALLED "multi-cultural" environment but most of those cultures are anti-Black and anti-dark skin. Those of us over 40 take certain things for granted. If you grew up in the 70s, 80s, or 90s...you grew up seeing Black love and Black men and women....dark skinned as well as light and brown skinned...being promoted as handsome, beautiful, sex symbols. Today, many people equate muscular Black men like D'Angelo's picture.....not as a "sex symbol" but as someone who is locked up in prison or a gang member. This is a result of decades of conditioning.
  8. Troy Mostly, but I'm more focused on them being CURVACEOUS. Even if they're thin. Erykah Badu is a good example of a thin woman with curves.
  9. Troy Since I have no idea what you look like THAT would be an interesting photo. In my mind's eye I see you as a bow-tied, bean pie slinging' brother. Lol...not me. Other times I see you as a domestic beer-drinking blue-collar guy- with a decent job at "the plant." Perhaps you are both or neither. Not me either. That actually sounds like a plaid shirt wearing, F-150 driving, white man you're describing...lol. I work the warehouse of factory, though it's not big enough to be considered a plant. The compound actually consists of 3 buildings. One building is a warehouse, one is where they actually manufacture goods, and the other is for corporate purposes. @Mel Hopkins invite him to GA so that we can see what he looks like Now wait a minute.... That's sounding more like a "set up"....lol. I think I've seen THAT movie before. Mel flies me down to Atlanta, takes me to a spot, and I'll see @Delano sitting there waiting on me with a turban wrapped around his head, talking about: "Good job Twin!"
  10. Lol...she's not bad looking for a 55 year old woman, however I don't find her particularly attractive. Honestly.
  11. "Move on", my ass.....lol. If I find out @Mel Hopkins has been "impressed" by anything I did, I'll KEEP ON doing it until my efforts have reached their "logical conclusion".....lol. The next pictures and videos she posts will have ME in them. I'll be in the background, grinning and mumbling something about "rear view" checks and balances.
  12. I'm not sure if I'd agree with that one. If a person truly IS a violent criminal who can't be reformed and is a guaranteed danger to the public, the only intelligent solution is imprisonment or death. Imprisonment...in my opinion...is a form of slavery.
  13. But thoughts of me and my big "black tail" seem to live in your mind 24/7, rent free....lol.
  14. ProfD Right. That somebody made up rules/laws that were broken. It is downhill for people who transgress. I won't disagree. However Black people in the United States are in the position that we can actually make and enforce our own laws. The Palestinians are arguably MORE oppressed than Black Americans...at this particular point...yet they have their own police with their own laws. Nothing is stopping US from developing our own policing organizations and crafting our own laws in certain jurisdictions. In previous dialog, you question the intelligence of Black folks. I still contend that fear of death keep Black folks in check. If we were intelligent and knowledgeable enough....that fear would dissipate. Have you ever heard of a genius fearing a retarded person? When you can easily out think your rival/opponent/enemy, fear of them becomes illogical. That is why there is hardly ever a violent protest led by Black folks. You get them from time to time, but like we both say....many Black folks are COMFORTABLE living under this system. They don't want to protest it because they enjoy it. Brotha Gregory said we can sit back and watch white folks implode on themselves. Even THAT is a dangerous strategy. They tried it already back during the first Trump administration, but it didn't implode. It's like a man who's sentenced to triple life in prison and he points to 2 Corrections Officers arguing with eachother as evidence that the prison system is going to "collapse" any day now. Not realizing how organized not only the prison he's in...is...but how organized the state wide prison system is.
  15. Cynique I'm done. Yeah right. You can't resist....lol. Troy I even spent a day on Captial Hill working with lobbyists to reduce credit card swipe fees Are you serious? I'm sure you're a computer expert, but I'm curious as to why they would tap you for that project.
  16. Dick Gregory became quite agitated with people, especially if you weren't picking up on his message.....as he got older. He used to cuss folks out in interviews for being too slow, lol. Say what you want, but he was on point and much of what he was saying we're JUST NOW bearing witness to it. When it comes to things like chem-trails, atrazine being put in the water and manganese being used to make people violent...... Many Black Conspiracy Theorists are just now getting hip to it because they're listening to the White Conspiracy Theorists who've been talking about this for the past 15 or 20 years. But my man DICK GREGORY has been talking about these same conspiracies for 40 AND 50 years! A lot of White folks actually got THEIR information from HIM.
  17. Man, what's the world coming to....... He allegedly died from Pancreatic Cancer, which is said to be very painful. I hope our brother is resting in peace and is free from his suffering. I remember Brown Sugar. And when I hear, for some reason I also think of Domino's "Sweet Potato Pie"....lol. Most of the ladies remember D'Angelo's "How Does It Feel" video when he came on nearly naked grinning and licking his lips and shit, lol.
  18. I don't care how old you are, I got you wrapped around my finger like a school girl....lol. -I can get any type of reaction I want out of you and everybody on this forum can see that. If I were as bad of a guy as you make me out to be, I would have taken advantage of this fact a LONG time ago.
  19. Cynique As I said before, I know people. You....apparently don't.....lol. Let me "hip" you a little bit to what people actually DO find offensive.............. I'm almost sure Mel doesn't take offense to my teasing of her wedding pictures and videos. But what she probable DOESN'T like is us going back and forth insulting each other in her thread, lol. The difference between me and you is I realize this and do it reluctantly....you don't. Lol....because you don't know any better.
  20. ProfD Why are they locked up? Good question. I would say various reasons: -Some are innocent and couldn't afford proper legal representation -Some are guilty of the crimes they were accused of and should be in -Some are guilty of the crimes that shouldn't be "crimes" at all But to answer your question directly: They are locked up because SOMEBODY locked them up. Somebody with more power than them. Black folks have had at least a whole century to come up with an alternative to the system of racism white supremacy. And we have. Not only have our people come up with AN alternative; but through out the centuries we've come up with MULTIPLE alternatives! But there are 2 major problems standing in the way: 1. Those multiple alternatives from multiple people is a sign of the DISUNITY that exists among us and prevents so many of us from choosing the BEST alternative and focusing on it to replace the System of Racism 2. The System of Racism has been so strong and dominant that it's been hard to get any alternative system going. Black folks do not seem interested in practicing group economics and politics in a manner similar to the Jews. They don't seem "uninterested" to me. They seem VERY interested in how other ethnicities practice group economics. The INTEREST and DESIRE are certainly there. It's the ABILITY of our people to do the same, that I call into question....for the reasons I stated earlier. Black folks have seemingly found a comfortable spot making it under the system of racism white supremacy What "alternative" do we have, at this point?
  21. My understanding of it is that it was and still is a TACTIC of warfare. Slavery practiced in the United States was the worse form in history. However the "typical" slavery as practiced around the globe through out history involved capturing enemy combatants that you haven't killed....along with their families, and putting them to work for you or your tribe/nation for the rest of their lives. Their children...if they had any....were usually born free and even allowed to join the dominant community in some cases. Some argue that enslaving your enemy was better than killing them. Others say it was worse because it humiliated them. Not sure one way or the other.
  22. Mel we've engaged in conversation on this board for the past 15 years Wow, has it been THAT long???? Kids have went to school and grown up during that time, lol. but have I ever asked you to share a photo Unlike SOME people on this board who constantly ask to see my picture....no. Stiil, I answered you because of who you are and how you present yourself. Mel, I already know that. You already know how I feel about White men with Black women and I wouldn't dare ruin the vibe bringing that up. The problem is Cynique aka The Contradiction....lol. -She doesn't understand people, or how to talk to them! -She doesn't understand what IS appropriate and what is NOT appropriate or what may SEEM inappropriate but actually not offensive depending on the context. -She doesn't understand how a person can ask question ABOUT a person without it being TOO personal. -Because SHE often crosses the line with people and insults people and offends people with HER statements and questions, she makes the mistake of assuming EVERYBODY has that same problem....lol. She simply doesn't understand HOW to properly talk to people with respect and understanding. Which we all understand about her...lol. So when she start apologizing to you for not actually taking time to type out a post of congratulations and compliments for your daughter's wonderful wedding ceremony....I assured her that you were NOT offended! And HOW did I know you were NOT offended? Because like me....you also "know" Cynique and how she is. It's for the same reason she EXPECTED and WANTED you to get offended at the questions I asked and the comments I made. And got MAD AS HELL when you didn't...lol. Poor girl even SNAPPED on you! " Well EXCUSE ME for taking up for you when Pioneer was asking those inappropriate questions he had no right to ask! I won't do that again!" She wanted you to go off on a brutha...lol. His hair is now gray, but he's a straight, Nordic-type, blonde-haired, blue-eyed man, standing at 6 feet 2 inches. Now, as I ponder why yall had a dog in a bow-tie (:09mm).... I wonder why you felt the need to include "straight" as part of his description? I thought that would be a given.
  23. ProfD Sure. They were not building personal wealth though. Only enriching the Nation of Islam. Many if not most "Nation of Islam businesses" actually ARE personal businesses. Because the owners are members of the Nation of Islam and usually patronized and frequented by NOI members, it's often considered an "NOI Business". Like most religious organizations, the Nation of Islam did not generate wealth for its adherents. Only the highest folks in it see real money. I wasn't around to see the Nation of Islam under Elijah Muhammad but I heard it actually did generate a lot of wealth for it's members as individuals, especially by taking them off the streets, off drugs and alcohol, and teaching them how to generate money for themselves. It's like that old saying about GIVING a man a fish vs TEACHING him how to fish. Rather than passing out money to it's members like candy, sometimes just getting them out of prison and off drugs is the most valuable things that could have happened to them. The wealth will blossom from that. umbrarchist LOL... Who actually NEEDED a video to convince them that cars today were built with parts designed to wear out and fail? I won't call it common sense, but it's certainly basic wisdom for most people over 40 who's had normal life experience.
  24. Well..... That Bible condones and even promotes slavery as a curse. The question is...WHO should be enslaved? The Bible doesn't necessarily say that Black people or any specific race be the slaves, so Black folks could just as easily use the Bible to justify White Slavery.
