  1. Yall DO know that that painter Bob Ross....had his hair permed to look kinky right? This is him years ago...with STRAIGHT hair in it's natural form.
  2. 👏👏👏👏 Perfectly stated. I support people coming on and saying what they want to say as long as they aren't threatening to harm other, however I had been wondering exactly what Nels' intentions are with some of the shit he posts...lol. Just like you said, he's NOT going to convert anybody on here. Nor does he seem to be here for the conversation. That being said, I hope he's not blocked. Not because he contributes anything of value to the message board......lol....but just because.
  3. I'm surprised....but I'm not surprised. I'm not surprised that he was going to drop out. I thought he had dropped out a long time ago to be honest with you. However I thought he was supposedly "far left"....so why would throw his support behind Trump of all people? Like you said, perhaps he's looking for a spot on Trump's cabinet.
  4. I've said it before and I'll continue to say that think she'd be only a LITTLE BIT better for us than Trump in office simply because of what those two represent. Presidents don't really run the show, they are figure heads. The people who PUT THEM IN are the ones who run the show, and the agenda for the U.S.....both foreign and domestic...is set. It doesn't matter who sits in the Oval Office. However Trump is worse simply because he EMBOLDENS the open racists and stirs them up to practice their racism more violently and boldly. January 6th was a good example. I don't think the Establishment who backed Trump wanted that to happen because it was to unstable. But the poor and working class Whites who back Trump wanted it and went off script.
  5. Evil???? Is it really? How so? And as the "resident atheist" of this message board....lol.....how do you determine what is "good" and "evil"? Or should you even BELIEVE in anything being "evil" if you are atheistic in belief?
  6. I think we as a community need to go back to the "rites of passage" or "mystery schools" where it is made CRYSTAL CLEAR to children what will be expected from them as adults and PROPERLY TAUGHT how to meet those expectations. Too much confusion is going on in society. Not only that, but too many EXPECTATIONS are forced on people without them being properly taught how to meet those expectations. Most boys and even men aren't taught HOW to be good men or proper men. If they didn't have a father to teach them or were in the military, many don't have a clue and have to learn by trial and error. Some of them end up dead before 21. A man doesn't just "get" respect from the women in his community, he has to earn it and achieve it through action. Who is teaching boys how to do that? I'm a firm supporter of clear instruction.
  7. I had no interest in it what so ever. I didn't listen to or watch the DNC just like I didn't watch the RNC. As far as I'm concerned neither one is relevant for our future Success as AfroAmericans. I did briefly check out the show to see my girl Michelle Obama, bangin' body as usual....lol.
  8. I agree, that humans shouldn't oppress eachother. However as I told frankster, if one MUST and is FORCED to accept a role....then I would rather play the role of oppressor than oppressed.
  9. I hear what you're saying......
  10. frankster Not Separate....different in some minor ways If it's different...it's separate too. Separate and different are synonyms of each other. Accepted as Fact..Once accepted as Fact it is True until - proven wrong. Just say "accepted" and leave it at that; because facts CAN'T be proven wrong. If you were able to PROVE that it was wrong at any given time then it wasn't a fact to begin with. Religion is not always wrong..... It depends on the religion. Of all of the major religions today, are you telling me that you've found one where the doctrine was 100% correct and never wrong? If so, please point that religion out because I haven't found it yet. Scripture is mostly Right... I'm not sure how you determine whether a scripture is right "mostly" from being right "partly" or how you determine the percentages of it. But in my opinion, if it's from GOD....it has to be ALL RIGHT 100%. No wrong or error can be found in it what so ever for it to be legitimate. Now you can still read it and follow SOME of the advice in it....much like you can a dictionary or good book....but you can't call it "holy" or attribute it to GOD. It must be PERFECT. Also, how effective is your "scripture" in solving the problems that humans usually face? Does it cure cancer, end poverty, stop oppression? That's how you determine if it's "right" or not.....not a bunch of poetic words strung along in a book. I am saying integrity and upright character is not found bound or guaranteed by skin color.... We must look beyond skin to find true allies. Yes...BEYOND skin color; however it STARTS with skin color. In other words, skin color is the FIRST criteria to be met in determining who you allies are or ARE NOT, but then it goes BEYOND there to other factors like loyalty, history, agenda, etc..... Kind of like, there are good and bad women so just being a woman ALONE doesn't necessarily make one a good wife. But if I'm looking for a good mate the FIRST criteria must be THAT she's a woman....lol. Then after that's been determined, I look at the other characteristics like her age, her looks, her health, mental state, etc.... So long as he or she is not an oppressor and is fighting to destroy racism. As long as they are "in charge" over other Black people in any way there is a good chance that they will BECOME the oppressor at some point and time, and you'll be right back where you started. The Arabs were oppressing the Africans in parts of Africa and indoctrinating them with falsehood and self-hatred. Many Africans looked to the Europeans for help to get the Arabs off their backs, but when the Europeans defeated the Arabs in certain regions....THEY became the new oppressors and their type of racism and slavery turned out to be even more vicious! The lesson learned is.....don't replace one oppressor with another.
  11. Well SOMEBODY might have to speak for them, since it's been about a week and none of them have responded yet....lol. If I was some random White dude with his hair parted to the side standing with a microphone in his hand...they'd be standing in line to answer the question. Blushing and grinning and holding their mouths before spilling their inner most desires all over the internet. But let a Black man ask them an honest question, and.......
  12. frankster Society says they are black within that society they are so....it is a social construct It is not a biologically true.. So here again, you are saying they ARE SO simply because society says it. Regardless of the explanation, you are affirming it as "fact". I do not behave by the standard created by oppressor....Nor do I subscribe to ideas and conceptualizations of oppressors If you didn't...you'd be locked up, lol. They set the rules and make the laws. If One should behave by their standards and accept their ideas then you have become an agent of oppression by furthering their goals and aims....or worst to become an oppressor yourself Many of our people ARE and have become agents of the oppressor. Infact, some would argue speaking the language of the oppressor and paying taxes alone makes you an agent and collaborator of the oppressor. The Egyptians were describing Ethnicities....not Races You're using semantics now. Egyptians indeed recognized different RACES (physical differences) between human beings and groups them as such. The Ancient Egyptians even had different names for the different races. They believed in different races bro. There is no way around it. Not Race .....ethnicities Both Race is based on physical appearance Ethnicity is based on culture. The ancient Dravidians recognized that the White Aryans were of a totally different race than them with a different culture too. Nor can I make you recognize the error of your thinking.....but it is fun trying Lol.... I bet YOU trying to get ME to recognize the "error" of my thinking is about is fun as trying to get a kitty cat to recognize itself as actually being a tree, huh?? We still do test/prove the H2O theory but ......mostly in a classroom setting. Testing and proving are two different things. Once proof have been provided...there is no further need for testing. At this point it just becomes an EXERCISE (of confirmation). We had this discussion already......Below is simple definition Facts are observable Lol...Much like racial differences are observable, huh? Theories are explanations Like claiming everyone comes from Africa but it can't be observed so it's just a guess, right? Not necessarily....for thousands of years people observe the sun rising setting and revolving around the earth - they also observe that earth is flat The facts above are no longer considered true That's because they weren't "facts" in the first place. 🤣 If they were facts, they'd STILL be true. Your above state has been accepted as a true fact for years....... it is now coming out That Most Native people found in the Americas were black Africans They can "come out" with whatever they want...doesn't make it true. I can get down on the floor and write an entire encyclopedia in crayons and "come out" with it next week. If you're silly enough to believe what I wrote in it, then the blame isn't on ME...it's on YOU. Just because the early European explorers found pockets of Black Africans who traveled across to the Americas and settled here AMONG the Native Americans, doesn't mean WE were the original Native Americans. .....as some self-hating anti-African negro youtube sensationalists would have us believe. When you have the receipts....thats evidence. If they were scribbled down in crayon....I wouldn't dare call them "receipts". I don't follow kitchen-table scholars whose idea of "research" are the cherry-picking the results they get from Google and Bing searches....lol.
  13. LOL...guurrrl you need to stop! 🤣 I have a running joke with some of the Africans at my job over this. I didn't know about it but many Africans joke among themselves about something called "Africa time". And they are SHAMELESS with it. They didn't know about our CP Time until we told them. I guess niccaz share similarities all over....LMBAO.
  14. I'm in my mid 50s. That's not old, however I guess that's considered middle aged. I don't feel or look like I thought I would back when I was in my 20s and often wondered about how my life would be if I lived to be this age. It may sound strange but I often compared myself with Mike Tyson who's a few years older than me. Back in the 90s I tried to imagine a young and buff hard core Tyson being a middle aged man of 40 or 50 and what he'd be like.....lol. It was funny to even think about. But this is Tyson...at 58. Not in PERFECT shape but....shit. I wouldn't have thought he'd look like this or even still be trying to half-way fight people even at 40! For those of you over 50, how do you feel or deal with "getting up there" ? Also, is it me or does it seem like people aren't "aging" like they used to when we were children? I'm almost sure as we get older and our perspectives change...what looked old to us at 15 doesn't look old to us at 50 even if it's the same image. However it seems that people in their 60s and even 70s are more virile and active today than they were....say in the 70s and 80s.
  15. You'd be surprised now a days...... I've seen so many instances where Black men are NOT wanted in leadership positions....by other Black people, especially many Black women. Why? Because of what you just said. It's almost EXPECTED....because it's natural...that a man in leadership position would be considered attractive and would have women throwing themselves at him. And a lot of sistas instinctively know this and it's for that reason that they DON'T want a Black man in that position because they feel that: 1. Too many White women will be throwing themselves at him Or 2. They'll have to compete with too many other Black women for him It's sad, but that's one of the reasons so many of our sistaz are either lonely or have settled for bums and losers in our community. Many of our sistaz have been raised to focus....not one the accomplishments of a man, but whether or not she can have him all to herself. Former POTUS Barack Obama would be consider a square in most circles. Yet, he didn't have a problem landing former FLOTUS Michelle Obama before he rose to prominence What??? Actually to the contrary.....lol. I've read in his bio that Barack said he had to ask Michelle out MULTIPLE TIMES before she even agreed to go on a date with him....lol.
  16. Now the productivity part is interesting....... What most people are smoking on the streets today isn't real Marijuana. It's either fake or an enhanced modified form of it where the cannabinoid levels are very low but the THC levels are very high. However the thing I've noticed about most people who smoke a lot of it is they seem to be very restless and listless. Can't sit still. Hyper and have ADHD. I've also noticed that they tend to be some of the most physically active workers. Although they tend to have social problems, attendance problems and are just unreliable...when they show up to work they usually produce a lot of goods!
  17. I didn't watch the Olympics at all, and MADE A POINT NOT TO WATCH THE BREAK DANCING events. I knew they weren't going to have any AfroAmericans up there competing...and I know why....because we'd outshine everybody. They know how beautiful and skilled Break Dancing is and they've been trying to STEAL it every since it came out back in the 80s. Them putting it in the Olympics was their attempt to "codify" it for themselves and institutionalize it; but they were so terrible and embarrassing with it that they decided to scrap it all together and make other plans. Pop-locking and Break Dancing are some of the smoothest and most charismatic dances that the FBA culture has produced YET. We should be codifying it OURSELVES, making it our "national dances" like the Greeks, Mexicans, and other ethnic groups....and passing the moves down from one generation to the next.
  18. Troy where do you find these pictures You'd be surprised at the amount of time it takes to find the right picture for the right statement to drive the right point home....lol. frankster No....Diversity is Inclusive Did anyone argue anything to the contrary. I said diversity is separate...not exclusive. No...Race is Divisive - Exclusionary. Yes race is divisive...anything that CATEGORIZES people or things is divisive by nature, but not necessarily exclusionary. The INCLUSION of different/diverse races, religions, and ethnicities are often the target goals of diversity programs. Thats the accepted scientific fact of today.. It's not a fact, it's a THEORY. The key word is "accepted". Doesn't mean it's true...it simply means it's ACCEPTED. Just like...as you pointed out...it was ACCEPTED that the world was flat centuries ago. Sex is based 100% in biology....all the others are mostly man made social convention/constructed. I wouldn't say 100% based in biology because people have recognized different sexes for THOUSANDS of years before they understood the biological differences between the two. Religions...most of which aren't based on biology..usually recognize the differences between the sexes also. True....All oppression is not the same in degrees Nevertheless they are the same in kind....they all result in pain and suffering. I think we are striving to End all types of Suffering....cause to each his suffering is the worst. If that's the case, would you bring an end to people being incarcerated in jails and prisons and punished for their crimes? That's a form of oppression and suffering? So too have a lot of black men shown to be in support of slavery/racism....Heyward Shepherd - The faithful Slave. True. But that fact doesn't absolve the many so-called "people of color" have proven themselves to be allies of the very racists whom we seek to separate ourselves from. Black traitors are a problem indeed, but pointing them out doesn't justify the behavior of other collaborators. Consider John Brown and uncle Clarence Thomas of today who you think would be a worthy ally in this struggle against racism? Neither. I like and admire what John Brown did, however I wouldn't team up with him as an "ally". I'd support him doing HIS PART to bring down the racist system and keep our movements separate. He's not the only White man to lead an armed rebellion against racists. Read up on another White man called "Newton Knight" down in Mississippi who also led a band of White folks and a few Black folks into fighting against the racists of his day. But at the end of the day, we don't need White men incharge LEADING revolutions and military incursions. Because that'll just be more White men incharge running the show. It's like using the Republicans to fight off the Democrats who are oppressing you currently. Would you replace ONE White oppressor with another? Even you told me you took advantage of some women who came to you for help in their time of need....due to you being in a superior privileged position - human frailty. I wouldn't call it taking advantage of the women themselves so much as taking advantage of the situation. Absolutely. I had something to offer and so did they. Also, I wouldn't call the positions that I held at the time "superior". Privileged...yes...superior...no. Nor do I call exchanging sex for favors "human frailty", I call it human nature. Women have exchanged sex for favors from men since the beginning of humanity. That's not human frailty...that's called SOCIO-ECONOMICS....in most cases it's also called MARRIAGE So we agree. It's about time...lol They really want people from Europe....but will allow those who look white. They want BOTH. Many Whites high up in the Establishment DO NOT want more Whites because they know it would lead to more competition. They actually want to keep Whites as a GOVERNING minority with layers of people of color under them acting as buffers.
  19. Troy Absolutely. There was one routine was so bad -- I me, Troy Johnson, in 2024, could have done a better job. Well, aren't you a trained Gymnast? Much of the floor-work in Break Dancing involves what would technically be considered gymnastics and acrobatics. Not sure who decided that it should be included but as much as I admire Break Dancing......REAL Break Dancing.....it shouldn't have been introduced as a "sport" in the Olympics. It's a dance...an art. It should be fun. Once you start introducing judges and "points" and setting up scripts and standards...especially by White folks and those from outside the culture....it no longer becomes fun and loses some of it's Charisma. However I would like to see AFROAMERICANS teaching each other this beautiful FBA form of art along with the other elements of Hip-hop in some sort of formalized and codified institution sot hat it can be passed down from generation to generation the way it's SUPPOSED to be and not be distorted or corrupted.
  20. His entire "birther" campaign against Obama which was not only clearly racist but just plain ridiculous should have disqualified him from EVER being taken as a serious politician by the mainstream media.
  21. Lol...in exactly WHAT context would -me telling you that racists were infiltrating law enforcement departments around the nation- be up for scrutiny or questionable?
  22. ProfD Brittney Griner was a political pawn. I do not believe she was mistreated in that Russian prison. Not sure if she was mistreated or not. Some would argue that just being locked up PERIOD for a person of her status and what she was accused of would be mistreatment. However..... The fact that she was held in a foreign and considered "hostile" nation against her will, not knowing whether or not she'd ever get back home probably paid a strong psychological toll on her. It was a game. Her crying may have been performative too. Well, just because her last name is "Griner"....doesn't mean she should keep a damn GRIN on her face at all times, lol. Anybody can be brought to tears under the right (or wrong) circumstances. Troy Griner was clearly a pawn. I have no idea if her crying was performative, but I doubt it was She was a pawn, but that doesn't mean she was a WILLING one. I'm sure she would have rather not been the object of some sort of international game between the U.S. and Russia.
  23. .....as I await @frankster's response, lol. I mentioned before that I smoked weed a few times, but didn't get the favorable results I expected. It didn't give me the euphoric feeling most people claim to get from it. I definitely didn't get any productivity or creativity from the weed itself. The only benefit I got from smoking weed was the KNOWLDGE that it didn't do anything positive for me. Because of this knowledge, I'm not addicted to it and no longer waste my time smoking it. While it's good to know what works...it's also good to know what DOESN'T work, so you don't waste time doing it.
  24. I like how he said he was real and a silver back Garvey Gorilla.....as if to express how strong and brave he is....then looked around in fear to see who was watching him LMBAO. Yeah, I was initially thinking the same thing. He should have took the money and conducted the interview....especially when he said he would do it anyway minus the cash. WTF??? The only reservation would be how much control would he have over the interview and the questions that would be asked. We know if a political party is approaching you to conduct an interview....especially one they're offering to pay for...an agenda will be involved to some degree or another. The question is to what extent. That would determine whether I'd go along with it or not......or demand more money, LOL. At the end of the day, money and politics are intertwined and we SHOULD be selling our votes....but for worthy benefits.
  25. One of the first things that must be done....which is pretty basic...is that we have to make it PROFITABLE/BENEFICIAL to fight for our people. This sounds almost like common sense; but it's not. In too many cases, people (especially the most articulate and intelligent ones who naturally qualify for leadership) are EXPECTED to be down for our people and not sell-out and fight for justice for no reward or incentive....but just because. Just because it's the "right" thing to do. That's not enough, for most young men. Especially if he knows his worth. Most young men want wealth and women. If our community isn't willing to give them that for stepping up as community leaders, then they will go elsewhere for it to those where their talents are more appreciated. That's just a plain and simple fact. If 25 year old Andre who is smart, handsome, and never had a criminal record in his life is out there fighting hard everyday to bring awareness to and stop police brutality in the community but he goes to bed lonely every night....yet he sees DeMario who is around the same age, dumb as hell, and is the neighborhood dope slanger getting the respect from the other young men and banging most of the attractive women -that's going to make HIM feel a certain way. How long is Andre going to keep up the fight without any type of incentive or encouragement as a young man? Especially if the Sistaz he's fighting for won't give him the time of day but wealthy White girls from the suburbs are coming down to attend his, constantly telling him how cute and smart he is and how proud they are that he's speaking truth to power? "Ya know Andre, I'm so nervous talking to you. It's like a dream come true because me and my sister attend your rallies all the time. It's so exciting to see a man who is so passionate when speaking his truth. And...(hee hee giggle giggle)...I personally find it HOT!" At some point natural urges and common sense WILL kick in. We have to incentivize our leadership...if we want to keep it.
