Spike Lee's biopic "X" is a really good movie. It tells a great deal, but this documentary, Make it Plain tells a great deal. It deals with the evolution of Brother Malcolm in ways in which many other documentaries and/or even books have not. I believe that Bro. Malcolm's evolution has really been misrepresented purposely and otherwise. This is one of the best documentaries that I have ever seen.

Anyone who knows me knows I've been singing this tune for years. I also believe all of the issues described in this video adversely impact Black people more than any other culture in America. There was an interesting story on This American Life about a family in Maywood IL. The young woman (Italian) was date another student. Her beau was also Italian. At the same time the young lady was banging this Brother (Black) who was on the basketball team.
