Orthodox Jews live it up on Welfare Is Nels White? Because these wildly errant assertions have been proffered by White racists for decades. I've read them so many times in online forums. Well, Nels, I am sorry to inform you that Blacks do not commit more crimes than other ethnic groups. Blacks are simply arrested in greater numbers by law enforcement and often, false testimony and evidence has been employed to imprison them for long terms. The news media, especially, when it's local, will always highlight and exploit criminal acts supposedly committed by Blacks. I guess Nels never heard of the Innocence Project. The views that emanate from this poster's mind reminds me of the nonsense from White racists I contended with for years on countless online Conservative forums. They too, always made mention of Black Crime, which is kind of hilarious since more than 86% of murdered Whites are killed by other White people, according to the Justice Dept. But folks like Nels only want to grouse about killings in Black communities. it's all because for White conservatives and the Blacks who love them, Black people are the main problem. As long as Blacks who love Trump and hate Democrats can frame the debate in terms of Black crime, Black drug addiction, Black families and Black pathology it means they can ignore the spree killers, family massacres, drug addiction and criminal pathology among White people. These days, about half of Blacks suspects arrested for allegedly committing violent crimes are mentally ill, off their meds, delusional and should have be in institutions, not on the streets. Blacks support phony politicians, according to Nels? Has anybody been reading the latest news about Donald Trump? How this racist clown conspired to thwart the will of the people in the 2020 election? And some on here are forever beating up on the Democratic Party. I cannot believe I am reading such racist lies in the year 2022. And in a Black discussion forum. Yeah, White racists who were Democrats in the 19th Century birthed the Ku Klux Klan and did many horrible things. In fact, White racists were known as Dixiecrats right up until the time of LBJ. The major parties switched racial ideologies during the late 1960's and early 1970's. I thought most Black people knew this. If Nels is indeed Black, pray for this individual who appears full of self-hate. I had only one issue with Maxine Waters. Her urging to harass political opponents while they are out in public. I thought her view was criminal, illogical and dangerous and still believe so. Black people are outnumbered in the U.S. And many of our White detractors own guns and it's no secret that those who endorse the hatred of many Republicans hope and pray they get to use them against us. Nel's vituperative diatribe against Black people also includes this insulting lie: That Black people VOLUNTARILY rely on government assistance to survive. As if Orthodox and Russian Jews do not. As if Chinese immigrants in New York City do not. In Brooklyn, N.Y., the Chinese community offered year round classes for their people to teach them how to receive Social Service money. Russian Jews became wealthy by taking advantage of welfare payouts while running businesses behind the scenes. There are entire Orthodox Jewish towns in Orange County, N.Y., such as Kiryas Joel, where nearly 90% of the residents receive welfare. Go talk to Black residents of these areas and you will discover that I am telling the truth. Does Nels not understand there is no longer a lifetime reliance on social service assistance in many states? That many on welfare have to work? That many are forced to undergo drug testing? Not so for members of "favored" groups. They get to do what they want, including secretly owning companies, hiding outside income, using their homes and other properties and declaring these sites of religious teaching? This means they don't have to pay taxes. Yet, Nels wants to attack Black people? Is this person a plant? An undercover racial terrorist? It is individuals such as Nels and those who like their comments who are dooming Black people. Because they are not helping at all. But they are hurting us. Not all Blacks are criminals. Not all Blacks are uneducated. It is a sin that some Blacks advance a bit, then seek to slam the door on others desperately trying to better themselves. The entertainment industry dictates everything from Hattie McDaniel in "Gone with the Wind" to blackploitation films, 1970s sitcoms, gangster rap, black reality shows, etc. AfroAmericans have to own studios, distribution companies, movie theaters, TV channels, radio stations, etc., in order to control the art they produce and narrative. As long as AfroAmericans are signing contracts and taking out loans to produce art, they're at the mercy of the money folks. 😎

You are too old for the new reality Blacks are facing. Trump has sounded the return beacon to the Republican Party. This is because of his good sense, business approach to life. Once again Black people are asserting they don’t want handouts. They want people to get out of their way. The biggest challenge is overcoming the rising tide of criminality in our communities. People do as people see and hear. We have to speak live, not dependency into our communities.

@daniellegfny In defense, many black people don't like superfly or sweetback. I can comprehend why they didn't, they do not, and they will not. Danielle, I know you know that for a time our forebears were enslaved to whites. But, doesn't that mean black people have the freedom to interpret the usa as they want? MAny of our forebears didn't want to be part of this country. I am not saying all. But no one can deny many black people forced from their home an ocean away, didn't want the trip, and died not getting what they wanted. Freedom from white people/the colonies of britian or the usa that came after it. So, in modernity, I don't see why any of us have a problem with some black people having an extremely different opinion to the arts , let alone anything else, when it isn't like our forebears planned for us to be here.

@nels and @Stefan, I wrote that white supremacy controls the entire planet based on the fact that post WWII, the axis of world power was the United States, Great Britain and Soviet Union. However, with the dissolution of the Soviet Union, for 30 years and counting, the United States has been recognized as the sole superpower in the world. The United States still recognizes the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Canada as primary allies in maintaining its power over the planet. All of those countries have one thing in common. 😎

@Chevdove One point, about the support for said law in nyc. you have to comprehend, nyc has a larger percentage of recent immigres than any other city in the usa by a wide margin. So you have to comprehend, most city councils in the usa don't have any interest for a law like this, but nyc is a unique city, not just in size, but its makeup. For example, washington d.c. itself has a large black population, who are in the descendent of enslaved mold, but the virginia counties outside washington d.c. are filled with immigrants, but many of these immigrants are financially above the immigrants who are in nyc , who are usually from more financially poorer means. then you look at a los angeles. los angeles is the second largest city in the usa, but the mexican populace in los angeles is a majority of the latin american community and they tend to be very wary of recent immigrants, while nyc's latin american populace is the most multigeographic of a latin american communit in the usa, you have colombians/nicaraguant/s paraguayans/peruvians/ et cetera, the mix means less a singular focus as in los angeles and the asian community in nyc is also not led by the chinese american community in the way los angeles has a huge chinese american community that dictates more and is less prone to this law. so.. the uniqueness of nyc's makeup has a role to play in this.

@nels rough and beautiful, the trick to nyc,is it depends on who you are in the city, if you are living in the sky the air is beautiful , the sun is lovely, if you are living underneath the sewers, times can be quite difficult, but nyc has always been a microcosm of the usa, sequentially, the haves and the have nots in one city. with every possible zone in between. You're 100% correct. The prison industrial complex has also become a mental health institution. Mentally ill folks are free to roam certain communities until they commit a crime. Then, they're locked up and released back into the community once time is served. Rinse and repeat. I saw this coming down the pike back in the 1990s. 😎

I am not sure if the problem is Criminals Being Released. I believe the real issue is the shutdown of all the mental hospitals years ago these folks should be in. Now, granted, these institutions were poorly run, replete with horrors of abuse and behaviors we would not wish on people who stole from us. But I remember the regional debates about closing them and I think I was in favor of this move - under the belief of giving all folks a chance. However, the mental health crime surge is now a serious and on-going problem and too many innocents are being losing their lives. I feel these institutions need to be reopened.

Racism isn't about thinking of racial superiority and/or hating another race of people. Racism is having the power to subjugate other races of people. Africa is a predominantly black continent but they do not control their natural resources or infrastructure. Black folks cannot be racist because they do not have the desire or power or a system in place to do so.
