  1. I don't have a problem with the Zoom or face time mode of communiation. I think it's a GOOD thing. As long as we're not FORCED into only having conversations that way. My issue is why when White folks in this society talk about upgrades they ALSO remove the old former models as well? If it's an improvement and beneficial then give the people the CHOICE to shift over to it instead of trying to force them to cross over. As I said before, I suspect this push is just more of a sneaky way to find out who is saying what so people will know who their political enemies are and go after them. You have to know people are analyzing these videos and not only identifying the facial features of the poster but also their background too catching every little detail.
  2. Sad situation. I saw the actual video of the fight she had with another woman in her hotel room before her homicide. At least one and possibly two men were in the room recording these women fight (or Shanquella being beat up rather) and did nothing to break it up but actually ENCOURAGED it. I HATE seeing Black women physically fight each other. It's disgusting. I suppose some men watch it hoping they rip each other's clothes off, but I'm convinced most who DO watch it do it out of sheer savagery and blood lust. How sexy is an ass or pair of titties covered in blood or slobber or with the skin ripped? I'm not sure when it became popular or mainstream for so many Black men to encourage this and do nothing to break it up, but by the early 90s you could catch sistaz outside of school or outside of clubs scrapping with each other like racoons over a cob of corn and a bunch of stupid Black dudes standing around encouraging them and cheering them on. And now it's to the point that some men who DO try to break them up end up getting beat up or killed by the other men who ENCOURAGE them to fight, so most men have learned to just mind their own business and leave it alone. ((shakes head)) Say what you want about Africans but I don't see African women acting like this. And I don't see African men encouraging it either. That's some nigga shit. And some of our people want to sit up and get mad at the Africans because they want to have little to do with our people? At some point RIGHTEOUS Black men are going to have to step up and put a positive period behind this nonsense. Dealing not only with the violent behavior of our girls and women but the ignorant and savage brothers in our community who encourage this madness. If I were near that hotel room and had about 5 good brothers with me Shanquella would probably be alive right now because I would have shut that shit down QUICK. The men with those women might have lost some of their teeth in the process but our sister would be alive and PROBABLY on the arms of one of US instead of the sorry niggas she was with on that vacation.
  3. Hmmm...... What I saw in that HIGHLY politicized video wasn't ideas on how to save "conversation on the internet" but a group of people with controversial views going at eachother. Same thing you could see anytime of the day if you flip on Fox News or CNN and watch their "non-news" shows. I have no problem with ADDING a new format like this to the already existing one, however I personally like THIS format where we can text each other back and forth with various ideas and conversations without necessarily showing our faces and backgrounds. I'm not sure why so many people are so naive to believe there's some sort of "honor" in face timing total strangers with highly charged political beliefs and not expect negative consequences from some emotionally unstable maniac who takes things the wrong way or too far. Troy, here comes the CONSPIRACY talk again.....lol. Too often when people talk about "modernizing" and "upgrading" things.....they don't give people the OPTION to stick with the old if they so choose. They ELIMINATE the old way and give you no choice BUT to go along with the new program that they "call" and improvement. I'm inclined to believe that the encouragement to eliminate the text formatting of online discussions and replace it with a more face-time oriented format has NOTHING to do with modernization and upgrading conversations on the internet...but has more to do with subversive groups both IN and OUT of law enforcement being able to identify and nail down those they perceive to be "threats" and "agitator" and put a face with the words so they can be more easily found.
  4. So they thought she may have committed suicide? Not sure why the media would hide this if it were the case, but different people have different motives.
  5. Chev Therefore, I believe that if you want to use an Asian character for a shaolin monk, you should at least do some research on that wise. Right off the top of my thoughts, the word 'Monk' signifies a very early presence of Black African typed 'ancient Sumerians' that were present in the ancient far east and then by the time that the shaolin monk became historical, well, I don't know. But I do believe at the time of these kinds of monks, there were still a significan presence of AFrican-typed 'monks' there too! I remember a recent movie, but the title escapes me though, of a film that showed a lot of historical fiction and I was very well aware of some of the roles played by Asians were actually a depiction of Blacks. Yeah, I wanted to bring up that the first people in China were actually Black and the first Samurai of Japan were Black, but I wasn't sure about the first Shaolin Monks so I left it alone. But thanks for mentioning the history.
  6. @Stefan I remember you said in another thread we as AfroAmericans need to form coalitions and alliances with other groups as a political strategy but I forgot which thread it was. At any rate...... How are we gonna link up with other groups when we haven't even united (to a certain degree atleast) among OURSELVES first? AfroAmericans are one of the most divided demographics of this nation. Divided religiously, politically, socially, even sexually. There's even a massive divide and conflict between several GENERATIONS among our people....all pointing the finger and blaming eachother for current and past problems. When you're weak and suffering from such a low self esteem and high self hatred as the AfroAmerican community is currently....forming an alliance with other groups would basically only be trading in ONE slave master for another. Because other groups will see your weakness and vulnerability and take advantage of it and assume power over you. I've seen it many times. Black folks form meetings with some of these other groups like Latinos and Arabs to try to get some political or social work done and THEY end up dominating the meeting and organization with THEIR agenda. Even start having the meetings being catered with THEIR own ethnic dishes....lol. The group was originally founded by Black activists who INVITED Latinos to join as a Black-Brown coalition....next thing you know fat niggas sitting up in brown leather chairs eating tacos grinning with their eyes bucked while Pedro and Pamela are standing at the head of the table passing out paper and telling US what they "agenda" is gonna be. Now obviously as humans you're not gonna get ALL or even MOST AfroAmericans to unite and agree with eachother for a specific political or social purpose. That has been tried many times. It will take a MIRACLE or some other Divine Act to make that happen. However I say we need to focus on a CORE GROUP of like minded individuals among us and establishing a set agenda that works for US first...then we will be healthy enough as THAT GROUP to form a coalition with others. And when we DO form that coalition, we need to make sure WE are in charge....no co-leadership.....US. The ONLY alliance is the one WE control. If they want to come along for the ride and help us....fine. But if THEY ever want to help take the wheel....the deal is off.
  7. True. And those type of Black folks are often successful because they woke up and realized what time it was. I realize that not all skin folks are kin folks, however you don't have nearly the number of allies and comrades you THINK you have in other races even if we "say" we're all fighting for the same cause. They may claim to want to link up with you to fight economic and social injustice, but even in the meeting rooms where the plans are being laid out with them.....THEY want to be in charge and call the shots on how it's done. Let me say that again.......lol. Here we call ourselves linking up with Latinos or Asians in a meeting to combat White racism, and slowly but surely THEY try to dominate the meeting, bring more of their people in, become the head of it....and even cater it with THEIR ethnic foods and ignore Soul Food...lol. I'd rather Black folks rule this nation, but as long as White folks DO rule it.....we should ATLEAST strive for 2nd place or the number 2 spot. Right now in many parts of this nation Black folks are in the 3rd and 4th position on the social ladder or in many cases NO position at all !
  8. Ofcourse she was blacklisted. She's a Latina who hung around and worked with too many AfroAmericans. She's AfroLatina herself, but like most Black and AfroLatinos....she probably was expected to stay away from AfroAmericans and find either another lighter skinned Latino or White American to marry and have children with and "improve the race". Instead she went the other route singing and dancing with Black folks and playing in Black movies....kissing on Black men, lol.
  9. Ok, thank you! I say go with your first thought and make sure you include as many races and cultures in your work as you desire. Explore your creativity! As an artist, you will live on through your work for many many generations including millennia....so don't limit yourself.
  10. I'm glad our sister is back home safe and sound. I'm wondering will she need counseling to help her with what she went through over in Russia.
  11. What is the United Nations doing about Haiti??? Why...HELPING TO DESTABLIZE IT...ofcourse! Why would we expect White racists and their allies of color to help such a strong Black nation? Based on my LIMITED research (because I haven't actually been to that nation yet), I believe the main problem with Haiti and the major reason it faces so many disasters is because of SPIRITUAL CONFUSION. When they abandoned Catholicism and returned to their Ancestors and traditional African religion back in the late 1700s, it gave them the power to not only fight for and win THEIR freedom but fight for and win the freedom of Black folks all around the Western Hemisphere including the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Columbia, etc... But some years later Haitians began accepting Catholicism and other forms of Christianity and Caucasian religions and morals to the point that many if not most Haitians are officially "Catholic"....but they still practice Vodou to various degrees. This leads to spiritual confusion. You can't serve two masters. You can't dedicate yourself to and serve the TRUE GOD and White folks god at the same time. They must pick one or the other. The Dominican Republic is doing a little better because they pick ONE SIDE....Christianity. It's the WRONG side, but they are less confused. If Haiti goes FULL AFRICAN again and reject all forms of Caucasian religion....I guarantee they will rise overnight!
  12. I'm glad our sister is freed (from Russia atleast) and back home!
  13. Why? How can a problem be solved if everyone who sees it just looks at it and keeps their mouths shut out of fear of what other's may think of them? Black folks in small circles around the nation were saying for decades that the government was bringing drugs into the Black community to neutralize it, but it was called a silly and baseless conspiracy theory UNTIL even White folks at the San Jose Mercury News confirmed it back in 1996. Now it's acknowledged and hidden or "explained away" but still....what was called a "baseless conspiracy" turned out to be true. If you have suspicion about something going on in society you SHOULD share it because others may have the very same suspicions which may very well speak of an actual problem that can be identified and solved.
  14. Well the media is reporting that Miss Fashionista Sinema just left the Democrat party and registered as an Independent. Something she should have done (or been MADE to do) long before now. But let's see what the Democrats do with their majority. Will they actually push a PROGRESSIVE agenda like building more affordable housing, give us Universal Healthcare, police reform, etc..... Or will they push for more Gay Marriage and Gender/Neutral policies and make THAT their agenda.....while the poverty continues to grow exponentially.
  15. If Democrats can show up in numbers like that for a Senate race, why in the hell didn't they do it for the GOVERNOR'S race where they could have put Stacey Abrams in office? Or did they....and their votes just weren't counted?
  16. Careful with talk like that....... It sounds too much like those "baseless conspiracy theories" Troy accuses me of making up....lol. How ridiculous the thought that there could be people sitting around somewhere plotting and planning on ways to actually INCREASE crime in order to make more money for the economy (police, jailers, corrections officers, lawyers, judges, psychiatrists, social workers, foster care, etc.....). Ha, ha, haaaa don't be so funny 😂......but uhhh.,... -> 🤨
  17. Troy Now you say violent crime has "skyrocketed across the nation." I'm not sure what you mean by "sky rocketed." Perhaps you can share an example of a national statistic that warrants such a claim. I remember it clearly. After the riots of 2020 in the summer, a little Black girl was killed down in Atlanta and that set off a wave of violence that included so many children being shot and killed that hasn't ended yet. Pay attention to the news. You're hearing about more children are being shot and killed in the past couple years than in the previous 10 years combined. Not sure about the stats on it but it's certainly being reported on more which speaks of an increase. You claim that these conspiracies are fictions of my own mind, but the question is: given the 400 year history of White treatment of Black people in this nation....why aren't YOU developing conspiracies in your mind too? Black people can be so trusting and forgiving like everything is alright....even when you got White boys like the one up in Buffalo shooting up stores and killing Black grandmothers you STILL don't want to believe White men are sitting around planning and plotting against you. You REFUSE to believe that this could be the reality. Like a lot of Black people I talk to, I don't think you WANT to believe in some of my conspiracies because you know deep down their MAY be some truth to them and you figure you can't do anything about it anyway so why even worry yourself over it.
  18. It's not good at all. Because most UNDERSTOOD Trump as a joke, a parody, a boogieman on a national level that Democrats could aim their criticisms at and place the blame on while the REAL racist Conservative threats would operate on the local and state level flying under the radar. Now that the ass clown is being removed, they want to replace him with a Conservative FOR REAL who is no joke. Keep an eye on Pence. Maybe DeSantis but he's a joke too.
  19. As long as he keeps exposing them, I'm fine. I'd like to know who the enemies AND TRAITORS in my environment so I can know who NOT to go to and who NOT to rely on for help.
  20. ProfD I agree. That race was WAAAAY closer than it should have been. Especially going up against a fool like Walker. It should have been a landslide victory for Warnock. Either the Republicans were cheating for Walker, or Black folks in Georgia simply weren't as enthused about getting out and riding for Warnock. Although I suspect it was both. Warnock and Biden have that same apathetic "barely passed" turn out for their victories.
  21. Oh, I thought you might have given us something left over from Titty Tuesday.
  22. That's because Atlanta have become a hub for Black so-called "professionals" in the corporate world....where White men prefer gay Black men over straight ones.
  23. I find it funny (actually QUITE funny.....lol) that the Republican Party won't ride for Walker and claim the election was a fraud and that there was massive voter fraud and cheating to avenge Walker's loss like they do Trump and other White candidates. Lately, when the White Republicans loose they pull out every trick in their playbook to make the election look unfair and illegitimate. But for the Black Republican........the nigga loss, let's get over it and move on....lol. It ain't even been a day yet. All the votes probably haven't been tallied and even Coggins is sitting up declaring that his boy lost....lol. Well, well, well.........
  24. @Conceptart88 Before I go further with this........ What race/ethnicity are you? Also, I notice you spell "honour" with a "u". Are you from England or Australia or New Zealand?
