I'm not sure where ProfD got that "94,000,000" figure for the projected Hispanic population BUT it could very well be a fact I the Trump Administration doesn't carry out his promised mass deportations. According to the stats, the LEGAL Latino population in the U.S. now parallels the AfroAmerican population....which is about 50 million. While we don't know EXACTLY how many illegals are in the U.S. some say there are about 20 to 30 million and possibly even more. Even if THEY are illegal, the children they end up having here ARE legal and can easily be counted in the general population. So 50 million (legal) + 25 million (illegal) = 75 million A growing population currently at 75 million people can produce 90 million in 20 years.

All of that talk and hyping up Trump so many Black folks were doing at his rallies and on social media; grinning and holding up signs and shit....and they're ALREADY giving LATINOS the credit for his win! In Michigan they're trying to say the Arabs in Deaborn (only a FRACTION Michigan's voting population compared to the Black vote) helped him win Michigan! Bullshit. I've seen news story after news story of them claiming the Latino vote is what helped Trump win the election and almost NOTHING is mentioned about the "Blacks for Trump" or the Black men who voted for him. I'm telling yall right now, the set up is coming...... What "set up"? 1. The plan to ignore the Black population, as usual...and do more for the Latinos. And use THIS as an excuse to do it. 2. Quite possibly....and this is one of the few times I hope I'm wrong about....use this rhetoric as an excuse to NOT mass deport the tens of millions of illegal HISPANIC immigrants like he promised but instead pivot the focus on BLACK immigrants who are here from places like Haiti, Jamaica, and parts of Africa. I saw it coming when they started talking about Haitians "eating pets" and people making open vows to deport them. They didn't talk about the Latinos like that no matter what they did. That may have been their plan all along. To cut down on the Black immigrant population while leaving the non-Black Latino population intact; but they had to come up with an EXCUSE to do it. This "We were helped by the Latino community so they're our friends now.", bullshit would be a convenient excuse for this Administration to focus on the Black immigrants and leave the Hispanic ones alone.

ProfD You said BOTH lost because they are women, but Hilary Clinton (a woman) received more POPULAR VOTE than Trump! She only lost because she didn't fight of the ELECTORAL votes. Not out of popularity. So the majority of the population...or voters atleast...back in 2016 actually DID want to see a woman as President! I don't believe America is a sexist OR racist country. I believe there are sexists and racists IN America. That difference in thinking is the key could be the key to our collective Success in this nation. If AfroAmericans.... Especially AfroAmerican youth.... ...are convinced that this nation is inherently unfair, biased, and simply racist. Then many if not most will subconsciously question why even bother TRYING to assume positions of power and try to achieve success. Even when racism was OFFICIAL and part of U.S. POLICY...Jim Crow, legal Segregation, etc....you have plenty of AfroAmerican success in the forms of farms, land ownership, businesses, bus lines, etc. Because they realized the despite the racists in power, the land ITSELF and money ITSELF wasn't racist and could be used to their benefit. A Black man OR Black woman can still be President of this nation (if we get another election..that is...lol). But niggaz are going to have to put their emotions to the side and start doing what it takes to WIN. Cynique After watching Kamala's kick-ass dynamic concession speech, A "kick-ass dynamic" concession speech? Hmmm.... Somehow those two concepts don't seem to fit together. It's like a "well typed, proof read, and grammatically correct" suicide note. In other words.....what's the point of it? She lost. You were impressed by her concession speech. I would have been impressed by her actually WINNING.

ProfD The Democratic party played the wrong game and lost Was it that they played the wrong GAME...or were they playing the game with the wrong PLAYER? I only heard a portion of VP Harris' speech but she did seem gracious in conceding defeat Well, I didn't watch that shit. For what? You lost. We don't want to hear concessions and farewells and excuses or telling people to "keep up the struggle" and all that extra shit. Like Sugar told my man at the pool table in Harlem Nights. "You lost.....now go home and brush that toof"....lol. But see....that's the problem right there. Too often Democrats are "gracious" and "comfortable" with being fucking losers and getting screwed over. Republicans aren't. If the roles were reversed, all types of lawsuits would have been filed against the Democrats and conspiracies of voter fraud and voter suppression would have been spread across the internet. That's the difference between the two. Cynique She seemed very comfortable in defeat and confident about the future. And THAT'S the fucking problem right there! Democrats are too often COMFORTABLE losing. Trump and most of the Republicans aren't. They HATE losing and try to avoid it...lol.

Only Michelle Obama bests Trump as an alternative to Biden in 2024 The latest Reuters/Ipsos poll finds that about one-third of Democrats say Biden should drop out of the presidential race after the debate 2 July 2024 Washington, DC, July 2, 2024—Following the first 2024 presidential debate, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump remain in dead heat for November’s election. In hypothetical matchups with Democratic candidates other than Biden, former first lady Michelle Obama is the only hypothetical candidate to definitively defeat Trump in this poll. Michelle Obama also tops the charts in favorability among registered voters, with Trump and Biden trailing her by more than 10 percentage points each. When asked whether Trump or Biden should drop out of the race following the debate, nearly three in five agree for Biden and just under half say the same about Trump. Detailed Findings 1. After the debate, Trump and Biden remain tied among registered voters for the November presidential election. In other hypothetical Democratic matchups against Trump, only Michelle Obama bests Trump among registered voters. When asked who they would vote for in the November presidential election, 40% of registered voters say Biden and 40% say Trump. This tie between candidates is consistent from late May 2024 when 41% said Biden and 39% said Trump. When asked about hypothetical Democratic candidate matches against Trump, 50% of registered voters say they would vote for Michelle Obama, and just 39% say they would vote for Trump. All other hypothetical Democratic candidates either perform similarly to or worse than Biden against Trump. Vice President Kamala Harris hypothetically wins 42% of registered voters to Trump’s 43%. California Governor Gavin Newsom hypothetically wins 39% of registered voters to Trump’s 42%. All other hypothetical Democratic candidates earn between 34% to 39% of potential votes among registered voters. 2. Most registered voters have unfavorable opinions of Biden or Trump. Again, only Michelle Obama receives majority favorability among registered voters. Other potential candidates, aside from Vice President Kamala Harris, have lower favorability ratings but also lower name recognition. Forty-two percent of registered voters say they have a favorable opinion of Trump, and 38% say the same about Biden. About three in five say they have unfavorable opinions of Trump (56%) or Biden (60%). Comparatively, more registered voters, 55%, say they have a favorable opinion of Michelle Obama. Kamala Harris’ favorability generally falls in line with Trump and Biden, as 40% of registered voters say they have a favorable opinion of her. Other hypothetical Democratic candidates—California Governor Gavin Newsom, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, and Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker—have significantly lower favorability ratings. However, significantly more registered voters say they have not heard of each of these public figures. Only Michelle Obama bests Trump as an alternative to Biden in 2024 | Ipsos I saw other media outlets suggesting that she run earlier this year also Yeah, the Democrats fucked up BIG TIME not going with Michelle. Oh well......

Like old man Junior Sopranos said about little "tough guy" Richie Aprile, when he was trying to decide who should be his successor as head of the Soprano Crime Family. "He couldn't "sell it. He couldn't fuckin' sell it. ....he's not respected." Kamala Harris simply couldn't sell herself or her message to the American people as effectively as Trump. She wasn't RESPECTED as much as he was nor was he admired or even "liked" by as many people. For over a year I've seen TEENAGERS in the mall right out of highschool singing about and praising Trump. He's a household name. His "brand" sells. The message is fucked up, racist, sexist, and backwards as hell....but it's charismatic....like him. There was too much "distance" between her and the people and they couldn't figure her out. This is not the first time. During these last 30 years or so since Clinton, the Republicans have been EXCELLENT communicators when it comes to national elections. They play dirty, deceptive, and use media manipulation and high psychology to trick and entice the populous into supporting them....and it works. Democrats...those who are serious....need to sit down and seriously re-think this "if they go low - we go high" bullshit and think about WINNING.

Troy and ProfD Lol, are yall serious? Do you REALLY believe that Kamala lost because she was a woman? I agree that there is a lot of sexism in this country. No doubt. Including in our community. However THAT'S not the reason that woman lost. *ProfD, you speak of so how much Kamala lost by but didn't HILARY CLINTON who was another WOMAN, lose by a much much slimmer margin back in 2016? So would that suggest that this nation is more "sexist" in 2024 than they were back in 2016? *Also, remember this "sexist" country VOTED for Biden back in 2020 when he had a FEMALE (Harris) running mate over Trump and Pence who were BOTH MALES. *And need I remind you both that the chances of the Democrats winning this election almost SKY ROCKETED when Biden (a man) dropped out and Kamala (a woman) took the reigns as Democrat Nominee. No, sexism wasn't the reason. Like Junior Soprano said about Richie April on the Sopranos when he was trying to decide who he should choose to be his successor as head of the Soprano crime family. "He couldn't sell it. He simply couldn't sell it to them" In other words, she couldn't sell HERSELF or HER MESSAGE to the American people and get it out as effectively as the Trump campaign. She didn't have "it". She didn't have the charisma Trump had. Even many if not most BLACK MEN thought Trump was more effective in reaching them and talking to them than Kamala, even if they didn't vote for him. The Republicans....as they have for the past 30 years PLAY DIRTY and KICK ASS in their communications and outreach...straight up. Ain't had shit to do with people not wanting a female leader. And yes...Troy...Michelle would have swept the damn streets with Trump. Whether you want to believe it or not. Mzuri Hey young lady Long time no posting from you....lol. The forum is already great. You should post more often and make it GREATER Trust me, you and your Conservative views won't be alone. There are a couple other posters who share similar....lol. Cynique And your criticism of this forum is unwarranted Oh, careful now. ....put that rock down, lol. I agree that this forum is really unworthy of any criticism, however remember that YOU TOO walked off and left us a couple times yourself, lol.

Troy but it does not look good for the Dems on any level. If it didn't look good for Democrats three hours ago when you posted this, it looks even WORSE for them now at the time of THIS message. Trump has 266 of the 270 needed to win the Whitehouse. Plus Republicans are poised to take BOTH the Senate and the House! ProfD If there is any consolation for the opposition, POTUS OJ cannot run again for several reasons. One of which COULD be, there will no longer BE anymore elections for him or anybody else to run in. I don't think it's her being a WOMAN that was Kamala's problem. I seriously don't. I think it was 2 major reasons: 1. The Republicans....as has been the case for the past 40 years or so...have simply become better communicators. They were better at convincing more poor and working class people...especially Whites...to support them even if it's against their OWN "best interests". 2. Unlike Obama or Bill Clinton, Kamala wasn't very "inspiring". Especially for Black men. ....who they will TRY to blame for her loss. Watch. I kept saying it and most people who were against Trump agree with me: MICHELLE OBAMA would have really changed the game and would have easily beaten Trump! It wouldn't have been a landslide, but I don't believe it would have been close. Even anti-Trumpers who said they weren't voting at all told me that they would have went out to vote for Michelle! I would have! Naw, it wasn't her being a woman that was the problem....the Republicans just ran a tighter game, plain and simple. Remember, before he dropped out....Biden was getting his ass handed to him by Trump BEFORE Kamala took his place and ended up doing better. Democrats should learn their lesson from this moment. Choose a more charismatic and inspiring candidate and learn to effectively communicate their message and especially energize the AfroAmerican vote for the next Presidential Election. ....IF there's a "next" Presidential Election!

"But We're Not Into Black Guys": Observation On Sexual Racism
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
MAN....these young cats ain't hype to that "slightly interested"...lol. They figure it's all or nothing. I try to tell some of my nephews and cousins that if she shows ANY type of hope or promise....just be patient. If she gave you her phone number.....that's a sign. Keep calling every now a then. If she smiles and carries on a conversation with you....that's a sign. Have another one with her a few days later. Be cool and give it some time! But some of these dudes want to go on a dissing campaign after ANY immediate resistance. Start going online dissing her on her facebook page and shit...lol. As I've gotten older I've learned the value of knowing what WON'T work. Even if I don't always know what DOES work....I often know what WON'T work...lol. -
Should We Go For A Solid And Understood 2nd Tier Status?
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
That was actually a pretty sobering yet sound observation about society. I can't say that I agree with ALL of it, but....it puts things in perspective of what type of objections and obstacles you'd have to face, considering such a proposal. You better enjoy that trophy I gave you lady, because you don't get too many from me....lol ProfD 3rd, 4th or 5th class, it's all the same. Already exists. Well, once you're not 1st or even 2nd class, in a such a HUGE multi-racial and multi-ethnic society such as this one...the other classes don't matter. Many Black folks are complicit in spreading it too. Facts. Infact, the Racists have learned that it's even more effective to pay and entice Black people to act out the negative stereotypes than for them to SAY these things about us. It's one thing to TALK negatively about somebody you don't like to try to convince others not to like them. But if you're smart enough to manipulate that person to behave in such a negative way that others won't like them either....without you haven't to say one negative word about them. ....that's high level, right there. Now you come out looking clean and innocent. Former POTUS Orange Julius is a great example of how white supremacists use their pawns. Are you suggesting that he's merely a PAWN of them, instead of one of them himself? Or am I reading it wrong? -
"But We're Not Into Black Guys": Observation On Sexual Racism
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
ProfD Even if a woman isn't initially interested, there are ways to GET her interested but harassing her isn't one of them. Many of these dudes haven't been taught that. Getting into relationships with women at your job or even in your neighborhood can have it's own issues, but one of the GOOD things about it is....you usually have TIME to win a woman over, lol. The "go slow but drop jewels here and there once very few days" approach has worked WONDERS for me. -
ProfD How many times did I have to stress NON-VIOLENT? Or do you not consider slashing a man's tires an act of "violence"??? If not, ask the car ITSELF was it violent....lol. You haven't seen a real non-violent "get back" from a crazy woman until you've walked outside on a cold winter morning to find FROZEN HONEY smeared all over your windshield...lol.

Black Men: Do We Deserve Our Treatment By Other Non-Whites?
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
When that Ice Cube song comes on, old school cats usually automatically think of one of the "boyz in the hood" pulling out that 12 guage on Tre while he was walking across the street with some bar-b-que in his hand. -

Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
And sometimes they STILL don't listen. I'm not just saying this to sound like a good dude, I mean it......I couldn't force myself on a woman. For me personally, part of sexual attraction is knowing that YOU are attracted to me. It's one thing for me to be more attracted to you than you are to me. But if I feel that you aren't attracted to me AT ALL....that in and of itself is a turn off. I don't care how much I liked a woman, if she said she just wasn't interested and I knew she was serious...I'd get insulted and leave her ass alone anyway. ....and she'd have to BEG me to come back to her! -
Should We Go For A Solid And Understood 2nd Tier Status?
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
Troy i’m beginning to believe you are spending too much time around the wrong people. Your image of Black people is terrible. It a yeah sounds like something a white raciest would say about us. Sure, there are Black people who fit the description you describe but they steer of no consequences, as they are too few. it could be I spend too much time with boogie negroes Lol, do you mean "bougie"???? I'm inclined to say "yeah" but I don't want to say you're spending "too much" time with upper class Black people. There's no such thing. But you MAY be slightly out of touch with what's going on in the streets around the country. I'm not "in" the streets myself, but I drive around the communities from time to time dealing with people and also have people in my family who ARE in the streets and it kind of keeps me abreast of what's happening. The fact is a HUGE and GROWING number of our youth are smoking that fake weed and a huge and growing number of them (and White youth to a certain extent) are running around outside and even going to school and to work in pajamas and pajama bottoms. That's been happening for the past 5 or 6 years now. I'm surprise you haven't seen it more. Given we are only 14% of the population, have a history of enslavement and Jin Crow we aren’t doing too bad as a people. of course we can do better— and we will On "the books" it seems like our community is doing well. Legally speaking there are no laws saying Black people can't do this or must do that anymore. However DEFACTO and in REALITY...our community is doing far from well. There is much more homelessness, incarceration, and family dysfunction in the AfroAmerican community TODAY than during Jim Crow. There are various reasons for this. Some of it is racist, and in many cases WE are to blame for being so naive and not holding on to our communities like we had in the past and trying to integrate. But the point I'm making is, despite our improvements ON PAPER....it seems as if the AfroAmerican community from the mid-70s up until now has DE-volved or mutated to a more dysfunctional state. ProfD Reads like you just want a receipt to validate 2nd class that already exists. Well, one of the problems with that is we're NOT 2nd class in this nation! It appears that either the LGBT or Asian communities are. Followed by the Latino community. They are the ones getting the attention and what little tangible benefits these politicians are promising. Black folks are being insulted in the media, in politics, and in the entertainment industry.....and it's all allowed today. They didn't do this back in the 60s or 70s....but today it's almost like a minstrel show the way they clown on Black folks. Like apologies, I'd imagine white folks can provide it. Lol.... Naw bro, I'm not talking about some "national conversation" or "national apology" along with a museum with a big ass statue of Louie Armstrong in the middle of the floor. I'm talking TANGIBLE benefits and TANGIBLE protection. If we agreed to something like that, it would have to be GUARANTEED and BACKED BY LAW kind of like what the Native Americans have. Ofcourse White folks manage the legal system for the most part and they can play games with it, but for the MOST PART we'd actually get more benefits from it than what we have now. It would be more along the line of what we're asking for in Reparations, but along with compromise for the White power structure . Just walk up to a white man and ask him for a 2nd class status receipt. Neely Fuller Jr. said, which way did the White people go? lol...... -
"But We're Not Into Black Guys": Observation On Sexual Racism
Pioneer1 replied to Pioneer1's topic in Culture, Race & Economy
It is, but I've worked in MANY places like that before. And about 80% of the time it's White men fucking with women of color whether they're Black or Latina. Now I've worked on jobs where Black men would make lewd comments and entice sex from co-workers. I've done it myself! However I have NEVER harassed women. I've PROPOSITIONED them...lol. I've used the promise and delivery of BENEFITS and ASSISTANCE to get sex from them. ....not going to lie. But harass them....no. And by "harass" I mean, when she has made it CLEAR that she's not interested....continuing to pursue her and chase her around making comments and even touching. That's a no no. And most Black men that I've seen....don't harass women. I've seen a FEW do it, but of the majority who DO pursue women and get their game on at work....the vast majority isn't of a "harassing" nature but of a MUTUAL attraction. Again, this is from my PERSONAL observations.....but women themselves may have a different story to tell. I've heard sistaz talk about how relentless some of these bruthaz are at work, on the street, etc....especially when they get dissed. -
Troy The man is 61, I think he's tried all of that already. Honestly, I'm not sure what his deal is because I've tried to hook him up once but the lady said that during the date...all he wanted to do was sit in the car and talk. Literally, that's ALL he wanted to do...lol. He doesn't have children either. After hearing that from her, part of me wants to ask him if he's still a virgin....but I just won't do it, lol. ProfD I don't think Venus is married, but I think she IS dating a White dude. Venus was always my favorite by the way. Far more feminine, not only in body structure but in attitude.
