You're talking about going against the grain of thousands of years of social evolution. Most men know they are "paying" for it one way or another, but suggesting they go the DIRECT route is still offensive to most. One could argue whether or not ANY adult is innocent, but I think we both could both agree that nearly all of the children under 5 years old are innocent. Yet they still often get killed in natural disasters. Logical thinking? My question would be from what relative basis do we think logically about certain catastrophes happening in the earth? From a meteorological point of view. I believe that at times, the Supreme Being does intervene with acts of nature. I do too. But I'm not sure which disasters in modern history I could point to as a clear example. As far as prophecy goes...... What if I told you that a lot of the prophecies of the Bible SEEMED to have been fulfilled because those "prophecies" were actually written AFTER the fact? In other words...... You read a prophecy that the Israelites will be taken into captive into Babylon and later on will be freed by the Persians under King named Cyrus/Korus and allowed to rebuild a 2nd Temple; and it happens! But what if that prophecy wasn't actually written BEFORE those events occurred as people are led to believe but were written hundreds of years later on AFTER they occurred in Jerusalem AFTER the rebuilding of the 2nd Temple? In other words, they wrote HISTORY and then stamped a much earlier date on it to make it look like PROPHECY. ProfD White folks will not accept Mother Nature defeating them. They have a history of this. Whether it's the Earthquake of San Francisco 100 years ago or the flooding of New Orleans. Constantly shaking their fists at the sky and "vowing" to rebuild after natural disasters.

Troy Yes, you rejected Barack and James. on what grounds do you justify accepting Colson into the black race while rejecting the other two. Because he clearly LOOKS like a Black man. His features are predominately African which fits him squarely inside the African race. Do you accept the author Howard French into the so-called Black race? Him? No. He's clearly heavily mixed with Caucasian. By the way, I’d accept all of these men as Black men. That's your right. And by America’s historical standards, these men are unequivocally black. It depends WHICH "historical standards". Based on the standards of RECENT history, many of them would fall under the "biracial" category. Again this points to how subjective and indeed pointless, it is to group human beings in this manner. It's not pointless. Racial categorization absolutely has a point and serves a purpose even if you don't accept or agree with it.

I haven't followed it that much but from the little bit I did pick up on, they said the physical altercation started with a White mans lapping a brutha. One thing is for sure..... We already have a number of all White towns and cities in the United States, especially in the Pacific Northwest in places like Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Like most things exclusive to Whites, it's just not explicitly CALLED "White only". It just IS, defacto. As AfroAmericans, we need to establish a solid presence in every state and probably every county in this nation....just because. However I'd like to see us CONCENTRATE our economic, political, and social power in the South East in places like Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. That territory should be indisputably ours.

I've talked about several times one of the reasons I'm no longer religious. I expected things to happen that didn't. This recent war between Israel and Iran and what's happening in Gaza is a good example. It flared up...and died down. If I were still religious and believed in the Bible I probably would have quit my job and prepared for "the end" because of how things looked. It looked like the end of the world was right around the corner; only for them to be sitting around in cafes with their legs crossed in sandals sipping on coffee again. But now I know better. Some may think that's silly to even believe that in the first place...... However it's not for those who SINCERELY believe in what they espouse. Christian theology TEACHES that when you see these things the "end" is near. It's taught. And it's been taught for HUNDREDS of years. ....another reason I stopped believing. Whether it's religion or conspiracy theories, it seems as if a lot of people are so cognitive dissonant that they can stare contradictions in the face and not think twice about them and even promote them WHILE living a life totally opposite of what they're teaching and claiming to believe. They claim Jesus is coming back soon, yet their buying mortgages on houses and sending their children to college to get degrees and good jobs -yet claiming the world is going to end. It doesn't make sense to ME as to why they even hold on to doctrines they clearly deep down don't believe in. Human psychology is amazing.

What was there to investigate? I'm no lawyer but it seemed like he said and did things on live television (let alone what was happening behind the scenes) that clearly broke the law. They just CHOSE not to go after him for it. Just like the law clearly states he can't accept gifts from foreign governments but he just accepted a jet from Qatar anyway, lol. Troy This is a contradiction. A contradiction is asserting two directly OPPOSING positions. What two positions have I asserted that directly oppose eachother? Back in the day when Malcolm X was asked how he felt about White people supporting his organization he said that they could support it financially and in other ways -but they can't join it. There can be no Black/White unity until there's some Black unity first. That wasn't a contradiction, it was a specifically detailed condition of how they could support him and his cause. Things don't necessarily have to be ALL or NOTHING; there are levels and degrees. So you want Black people to be in charge bestowing the title of D.j. and MC, to decide who can call themselves an MC or D.j.? am I understanding you correctly? Yes. Black leaders in the Hiphop community. I'm not sure how likely this would be, but it's something I'd like to see.

It seems like we were far more united in the 90s. Minister Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton were pretty much the undisputed leaders for most AfroAmericans, including the grassroots. Never in a million years would you have thought there would be Black people supporting Donald Trump or running Conservative internet shows, lol.

What's disappointing is that despite the major 2024 Election loss, there STILL is no major push in the AfroAmerican community to form our own political party. You SEE the ship sinking, but instead of abandoning it.....you start grabbing buckets and shit trying to scoop up water to toss overboard.

It's simply a matter of categorizing them according to society's standards for Racial Categorization The most difficult part...especially in places like the United States...is getting most people in society to AGREE on the same standards. Thus you have: you don’t think Homer Plessey was black. You don’t think well to white was black. But but the nation, including the Supreme Court the Supreme Court disagrees with you. There in lays the problem. Different people with different standards for who qualifies for what race. In societies where most people agree, you don't have that problem. In the past in some parts of the South you had the one drop rule where ANY Black ancestry got you put in the "Black" or "Colored" Racial category. That was pretty easy. Do you think Barack Obama is black? No. How about the authors James McBride No and Colson Whitehead? Yes At the end of the day, the fact that there is no genetic test for race should be sufficient proof to you that there is no genetic basis for race. In a society where race is determined by skin color and other physical features, there usually is no need for a test because racial categorization is based upon PHENOTYPE...not GENOTYPE.

umbrarchist I am not going to dispute with you about YOUR REALITIES. I don't consider them just "my" Realities, so much as they are Realities period that others can access. To me, people who can Believe that a 200 ton airliner including the 34 tons of jet fuel (mostly kerosene) can totally destroy a 500,000 ton building without even thinking about the distribution of steel do not comprehend enough about Physical Reality to go into details about much stuff with. The scientific/physics laws of THIS Reality may not necessarily apply to OTHER Realities. Which is why some people can fly in their dreams or build entire buildings by simply moving their fingers; but when they wake up and return back to THIS Reality, it may take 15 years and 1000 men just to build the same structure.
