There was a tweet from Tariq Nasheed warning AfroAmerican protesters (tactics of which I don't agree with) in Louisville Kentucky that armed White Supremacists were going to attack the protesters there on Saturday and told the brothers and sisters there to get ready. Now this is early ON THE GROUND video of a Caucasian man shooting into the park where people are and there seems to be someone else (who looks like a man of color) with something in his hand walking toward the gunman before apparently ducking for cover. Shaun is spot on with this observation. It's been known for decades that the images of Jesus and even God being depicted as a Caucasian man has being one of the most effective tools of racism as it burns the idea of Caucasians being divine and god-like into the subconscious of many people of color who grow up around those images. Hi all The above is an opinion I have. In the wake of the BLM protest, I've noticed a lot of media have taken advantage of this situation to remove what they seem to be racially insensitive content. For example here in the UK a number of shows, mostly comedy, have had episodes removed where a white actor portrays a black individual. There is also more talk about giving black people more positions in companies, creating award categories for black people etc. My opinion again, we need equality in the law. What is most concerning to me about the topic and discussion of racism within the mainstream context is that no one, not black politicians, black commentators, or black entertainers, are talking about what racism really is and why it exists.
