My e-book has gone to press and will soon be available for downloading on line. Hard copies will also be for sale. This is the new and improved version of The Only One, my novel about an interracial love triangle that will put the advice of self-appointed relationship guru, Steve Harvey, to shame. It might also make prudes blush. This is not "your grandfather's book". It's your grandmother's hot novel. What this quick-read also has going for it, is that it's a delicious slice of black life, serving up conflicted characters with appetites for lust, and cravings for love. Watch for more details on how to check out this upcoming release!

How many times have you asked yourself what you are doing with your current partner, yet continued to settle for the same situation? How often do you remind yourself that you can do so much better than the men you settle for, while you continue to lower your standards and date the same toxic guys over and over? Aren't you tired of singing along with and relating to all those sad, broken-heart songs on the radio? In a casual sex-fueled society, many have fallen into complacency. Women all over have lowered their standards in order to have a man by their side. In this book, author Karlicia Lewis gives women all across the globe great insight into the epidemic of settl…

Based on true events, What of the Ranch is the story of a group of poor, inner-city African Americans that travels from Chicago to rural Michigan to establish a Christian commune. The men and women who form the community find their new surroundings present both opportunities and challenges. It is their long-awaited Promised Land, but it is also a place that is isolated and foreign. This story is an intensely personal one because I grew up in the community and have just now begun to make peace with the unusual nature of my upbringing. That said, the work is in no way heavy or dark. It is simply a quiet requiem.

Patricia Joseph’s new book: “Raising Black Boys to Men: A Mother’s Guide to Raising Thugless Sons” was written to share a mother’s successes, trials, and errors, in raising her three boys, in a society that glorifies thug-life. Across America, in some city, some neighborhood, some home, a mother is crying over the loss of a son! A son lost, to yet, another senseless crime, or a penal institution. Patricia Joseph, author of Raising Black Boys to Men: A Mother’s Guide to Raising Thugless Sons refused to be one of those mothers.
