  1. I'm in Michigan. That ship sailed a week ago...lol. Every winter we get windchills that low...for DAYS at a time. Not sure why the media is making such a big fuss out of it now. Hell, remember the polar vortex of 2013-2014? The national media is something else. Something can be going on in the MIdwest or down South or the Rocky Mountains area and it'll barely get headlines, but if it threatens to affect the East or West Coasts....they start telling "Americans" to brace themselves.
  2. I think China knows better than to put ANY type of ballistics or weaponry inside of anything they send over here....lol. They aren't stupid at all....let alone THAT stupid. I'm thinking it was one of 2 things: 1. China simply testing the waters to see how much they could get away with.....as most nations tend to do from time to time. or 2. That balloon actually belongs to the United States and they are operating THROUGH the Chinese government in order to spy on it's own citizens. In a global economy, there is no U.S. vs China....it's the rich vs everybody else. The same rich people who control the U.S. also control China, so it's not a stretch to believe that both nations could be working together to maintain control over their masses.
  3. Troy This is wonderful. I love it when intelligent Black folks come together. Shame it had to be in California...lol. I'd probably go to the event.
  4. Stefan (( )) Do you really think Black Americans could cross our southern border in the millions, show up in Mexican cities and demand services in English, hotel rooms, free access to regional buses, subways in the capital, free cell phones and an adoring army of English-speaking activists to tell Mexican residents to donate their clothes and other unused items? No. Great point. But I must admit, I'm kind of surprised to hear this coming from YOU...lol. I thought you were Team Democrat Party all the way and completely towed the line for every topic on their platform. You also stress the importance of building coalitions with Latinos and others so much, you'd be one of the last people I'd expect to read that from. Now, I wonder if Pioneer is going to order Black people to leave New York City as he did Black people in California. Only if YOU take up residence there....lol. It would be my responsibility to steer them away from bad influences. However if you keep talking like you did above, I may reconsider...lol. harry brown Black. People Might. Could Have. Community. Centers. For. Black ,Children. If. They. Stop. Taking. Money. To. Church. .Paying. For. ,These. Snake. Pimp. Preachers. To. Have. Cars.....Black. People. Pay,For. Their. Own. Enslavement...... Excellent point Harry. We have to start taking some responsibility for our own institutions instead of continuing to expect White folks to all of a sudden stop being racist and doing the shit they've been doing. You KNOW they're eventually gonna take money away from much needed public resources and redirect it elsewhere. You know this. They have a history of it. So why aren't we prepared????
  5. Stefan @Stefan I don't care how smart some people think you are, do you know what .50 caliber bullets will do a human body? It is not easy to depose an autocratic ruler who enjoys the support of a nation's military and police apparatus. If it were easy, there would be no dictatorships. Why do you think Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe lasted so long? It was only when the military was convinced he had to go - that he actually went. There are 57 dictatorial rulers on our planet, according to planetrulers dot com: While you're right and I agree with you that dictators rule many of these African nations, two things need to be kept in mind: 1. Most of the dictators around the world were PROPPED UP by the West and given the money and military hardware to oppress their people. 2. Not all dictators were propped up by Western powers, some of them.....as is the case in North Korea...are just naturally desired as leaders. Many if not most cultures actually DESIRE a dictator or strong-man to lead them. They're not down with so-called "Democracy" because it places too much responsibility on them. I'd go as far as to say that in some cases, a dictator is MORE natural than a president. Autocracies governed MOST societies for thousands of years right up until recently. ProfD @ProfD Folks run around the streets engaging in gangs and/or criminal activities knowing the risks. They might have to kill or be killed too. Well...MOST folks...lol. You got a lot of young pups out there who have bought into the "glorious" thug life they hear about in rap music and hood movies and although they know death and destruction exists in the streets, many are still naive enough to never think THEY would never end up hemmed up. The Russian military and its citizens are complicit in fulfilling the sociopathic designs of their dictator. The question is why won't they overthrow him I'm sure many people around the planet were asking the same question of Americans when Trump was in office. Rodney campbell @Rodney campbell Well said commentary on many of these "street" people. Most of them are absolutely a product of White racism. Monsters....Frankensteins...that have been manufactured by the powers that be through their self destructive music, drugs, and other influences that destroy the morality and intelligence of people. We can't expect much progress in our community as long as their is an abundance of them dwelling within. Dee Miller @Dee Miller I'm not in a position to judge, but my opinion matters, right? Well....uhhh...to keep it real: ONLY if it agrees with mine, lol.
  6. I said a couple days ago it seems that many in the media were trying to ENCOURAGE people to get out in the streets and riot over the Tyre Nichols beating video! It appears Tariq Nasheed has noticed the same thing: Clearly the media was trying to ENCOURAGE people to riot over this. Why? Not sure, but it seems to me the biggest factor is the fact that most of the cops involved were Black and the main stream White dominated media MADE SURE the world knew this. I believe a couple White cops....finally after pressure from grass roots organizations....have now been charged in Tyre's death but their pictures aren't being shown like the Black cops.
  7. Cynique That's not true. Speak for yourself. For instance. what are the other meanings of evidence? It IS true, and here's the PROOF of this from Merriam-Webster's dictionary: You've been supplied with atleast 3 different definitions to choose from. As for Del, unlike you, he's secure enough in his manhood, to concede a point. Secure enough to conceding points??? Know what that sounds like to me? That sounds like a man who's USED to losing.....but anyway, lol.
  8. "Inadequacies" sounds like a term you stole from White women who pinned it on chauvinistic White men with small penises....lol Most Black men don't have "inadequacies". Perhaps you should search for another term.
  9. Cynique because he realized that the concept of semantics accepts that there are 2 sides to every question, depending on how you interpret language, This has nothing to do with semantics or "interpreting language"....the disagreements simply came from us focusing on alternate definitions for the same words. As has been known by me and pointed out earlier, both "evidence" and "proof" have MULTIPLE definitions and mean different things in different settings. You two either failed to acknowledge this or simply ignored this fact for egotistical reasons to "one up" the other, but it got a little too heated for your boy....and he bowed out, lol. The cream puff melted...lol.
  10. If a machine is thinking and planning and calculating....it's not a machine. It's an intelligent Entity operating THROUGH the machine. Sounds like possession. Jewish literature called them "Golums" which was where the idea of Frankenstein came from. If it can think and plan it almost certainly is self-aware which means it can self-sustain. The question is...at WHO'S expense?
  11. ProfD All the more reason to take a stand, dig in, and fight for our land and resources right here. Not only being native to this land but citizens of this nation by right, we should try to achieve the highest positions we can in this nation and exercise our authority. I was having a conversation with a Haitian dude the other day and he THOUGHT he knew my politics. He pointed to a young brother in a Marine uniform, kind of joked around, and asked me how did I feel about Black folks joining the U.S. military...expecting to hear a particular type of answer. I said I was PROUD of the young brother and that more Black folks should not only join the military but go to West Point and become OFFICERS in the military, not just private grunts. He thought I was going rant and rail about a Black man being in a "White man's army"; but I have a different mentality. I don't see the U.S. military as the White man's military but MY military that's being currently managed and controlled by a mostly White officer class. It's our right and duty as AfroAmericans to move up in rank and replace them. Like you said, AfroAmericans have no other nation to run to and don't really need one. We should and can be extremely successful and prosperous in THIS one of some of these niggaz would just put the weed down, stop glorifying the street life, and start building where they stand. But speaking of Africans in America, here's an interesting discussion I've been watching this morning on AfroAmericans experience in Africa:
  12. Well your deductive reasoning is obviously flawed because I made it clear that the person I described was indeed YOU...lol
  13. Not unless you're a distant cousin.....lol.
  14. ProfD I'm not African (continental) so I can't speak for why so many of them do the things they do, I know most of the Africans I've come into contact with here in the U.S. are highly intelligent and industrious. Like I said earlier, they say their hard work and success "pays off" more here than back home. They may have 7 degrees including medical degrees....but they'd still make more money driving cabs in D.C. than being a doctor in Zimbabwe. Plus, they'll have more control OVER their money and where it goes here. I'm fortunate enough to work with and around a LOT of Africans. Something I've been wanting to do for years and having found a new job a year ago afforded me the opportunity to finally do it. They don't mind working 10 and 12 hours a day 7 days a week and sending a PORTION of that money back home to their families and communities; as opposed to being FORCED to work even longer hours back home and having nearly ALL of their money either go to family members....half of whom are NOT working for one reason or another or go to some corrupt politician who threatens to harm them or their family if he doesn't get the money. The West installs and supports these corrupt despotic regimes that oppress so many of the people over there so we can't fault them too much for wanting to escape and get a chance to breathe.
  15. And just incase anyone wants to laugh and talk about how funny Cynique's post was- You should know she got that picture from one of MY posts in my Evidence and Proof thread. Just saying......
  16. It's so wonderful that we both can relate to and enjoy the wisdom of brother Neely Fuller Jr. So I bring him up again......... He has said numerous times that he was living in Washington D.C. back in 1968 when they had the riots over King's assassination. He said while some Black folks were on ONE END of the block setting fires to the rowhouse they were living in.....he was on the OTHER END helping to pick up a fire hose and wet the building down and put the fire out to keep it from spreading. I found that not just honorable but so amazing because I haven't heard a story like that. I can imagine Mr. Fuller with his younger but still highly intellectual self out there in the middle of a riot, wrestling around with a fire hose trying to put out fires....lol.
  17. Cynique You were not totally agreeing with what i said about DNA, fingerprints, etc, because you No one IN here "totally" agrees with eachother or we'd all be quoting eachother's posts. It's not about TOTAL agreement, it's about acknowledgement where we DO agree and mutual respect and understanding where we don't. .....which is why I was so disappointed when Del all but capitulated to your badgering and down right bullying. You found a soft target. You wore the poor man down and he got tired and gave up and decided to agree with you, shake hands, and go home....lol.
  18. Delano Do you read Hindi and have access to the many many Vedic scrolls? ... or have you just examined a few transcripts that have been "translated" in English to come to that conclusion?
  19. ProfD I'm not sure what's going on in Africa as I haven't been there yet. From the people who ARE from there so seem pretty smart and most are well educated and could make a real difference there, they tell me that the governments are too corrupt and the societies are too repressive and oppressive for their personal success. Just like the United States and the West are highly individualistic....most African and Asian countries are highly COLLECTIVE. It has it's good points and bad points. One of the bad points is no matter how good YOU may be as an individual, everything you do and get has to be for "the team". Either your family or the community. And the wealth and things you accumulate....if it's not shared with the community or large family is often snatched by a corrupt government. Again, I'm not sure if this is true or not....it's what I've been told by many people. But that would make sense as to why so many smart and hard working Africans would rather come here to display their talents than stay at home.
  20. ProfD Neely Fuller Jr. said sex is the 2nd most powerful force in nature. He said people are spending time either ENGAGING in it, PLANNING it, or REMENISCING about a time when they used to have it.....LMBAO!!!!! "Nigga you betta stop...... You know your heart ain't strong enough for that no more"
  21. You can expect to get dissed pretty hard if you keep playing with me......
  22. I guess we gotta go back to middle school............. YOU SAID, and I quote: "Fingerprints, DNA, 911 recordings, security camera images, coroner's reports are objective,....." As a response I SAID, and I quote: "Fingerprints, DNA, 911 calls, security camera images, etc.....ARE objective as you say." I actually AGREED with you about what constitutes as evidence, but being the contrarian you are...in the very next post you turned around and said: "@Pioneer1i don't agree with anything you've said, and it's pointless....". So you didn't agree with ANYTHING I said, even my statements that echo your own! Just disagreeable for the sake of being disagreeable.
  23. ProfD From my years of experience both operating in Black organizations as well as working with them from the outside, it's best to have most of the ethical rules and laws of conduct CLEARLY established and agreed upon by all parties involved as early as possible to avoid misunderstandings as well as fights over power and control.
  24. But how many blockheads are being snatched up, eaten, shitted out, and forgotten about????
