Bots have been dominant on the web for a very long time. We know most of the posts on Twitter is generated by bots. Now that AI has demonstrated its power, things will just get worse, The following is a bot generated post which originated from a foreign language. I've seen spam before, but this is absolutely terrible. This type of crap regularly shows up on Richard's Blog. It does not get displayed live, but periodically I delete this stuff from the server. ......not more bullshit and wishful thinking. I met and had a deep conversation with a group of Hebrew Israelites a few days ago, and it made me a bit disappointed. None of these brothers were over 35 and infact most of them were in their 20s and they were very sincere about Black folks and Latinos being the 12 Tribes of Israel and even more disappointing was the fact that they believed slavery was a "curse" from God for breaking the commandments of the Bible. I was taking these brothers and schooling them not just with their own Bible that they hadn't read thoroughly but also with basic common sense and logic like if slavery was a "curse" then wh…

Hi all The above is an opinion I have. In the wake of the BLM protest, I've noticed a lot of media have taken advantage of this situation to remove what they seem to be racially insensitive content. For example here in the UK a number of shows, mostly comedy, have had episodes removed where a white actor portrays a black individual. There is also more talk about giving black people more positions in companies, creating award categories for black people etc. My opinion again, we need equality in the law. BLM is about police brutality. Not comedic acts no one cares about or given charity at the Oscars.

We can at least solve a large part of our border crisis . Take our violent inner city thugs who live off the system ( tax payers) and commit violent crime and then TRADE THEM for some hard working central and South Americans who actually work. I will take that trade all day long ! We can send the thugs to Central America and they can live with the cartels and ms13. That will not only solve a large part of the crisis at the border but it will reduce our violent crime rate by about 75% and will help our black communities greatly . We still need a wall in order to prevent bad people from coming in and also need to know the identity of those that come here. …

This is picking up on the Roots conversation started by Harry which segued into a conversation about Race. I still don't think remaking Roots was necessary given, as we've discussed the great many other stories which have yet to make it to the screen. It is curious The Atlantic failed to mention the fact the Alex's story was largely fictional, as if this does not matter. When Roots broadcast it was presented as truth. (@Sara, do you think Haley would have paid over $500,000, in an out of court settlement, for plagiarizing a single paragraph?) The Atlantic did mention Nate Parker’s record-breaking Birth of a Nation. I heard something about a film being…

This country needs more black tv commercials, we dont have enough. Hollywood isnt shoving blackness down our throats enough. Everytime I turn on the tv i dont see enough black tv commercials or black tv shows. Hahaha.. Im kidding . Its getting ridiculous! Every damn tv show or commercial is a bunch of blacks. What this tells us is that White people arent watching regular tv any longer. The garbage on mainstream Tv has turned off most white americans leaving most viewers as being black. Hollywood is going where they think the money is- black viewers. hence all the black tv commercials. Mainstream tv has nothing but garbage tv shows and so many whites have turned to alte…

@Stefan I remember you said in another thread we as AfroAmericans need to form coalitions and alliances with other groups as a political strategy but I forgot which thread it was. At any rate...... How are we gonna link up with other groups when we haven't even united (to a certain degree atleast) among OURSELVES first? AfroAmericans are one of the most divided demographics of this nation. Divided religiously, politically, socially, even sexually. There's even a massive divide and conflict between several GENERATIONS among our people....all pointing the finger and blaming eachother for current and past problems. When you're weak and suffering …

😏Lol....I know good and well I shouldn't be cluttering up the board with this excess thread but I guess I'm just trying to be cute. To those who feel AfroAmericans NEED to go out of our way to form alliances and coalitions with other groups outside of our community in order to be successful: -We are statistically tied with Latinos for the largest demographic behind White Americans, so we have the numbers -We have more political power than any other demographic except White Americans. -And although it's disproportionate, I "believe" we actually have more WEALTH than any other group outside of White Americans! Asians and Latinos have a lot of weal…

With all of this talk of UFOs, UAPs, and these "drones" flying around the Eastcoast, I look at it THIS way..... If you're coming here to help us...then HELP. UFOs existed...during Slavery UFOs existed...during the Holocaust UFOs existed...when the U.S. nuked Hiroshima UFOs existed...during the Genocide in Rwanda You OBSERVED these events take place, but you didn't stop them. Why not? What EXACTLY is your purpose for coming here? A woman is being severely abused by her husband. It happens over and over again and she cries out for help. I send a well trained well armed professional officer inside her home. Th…

You planned your cowardly attack since 2017. You shot ten people, terrorized all of New York City and thought little of it. But your oversized backside was never destined to escape the law. And that's coming, Frank James. You face life imprisonment on 10 counts for attacking the New York City subway system and a single count on discharging a firearm during the assault. I have no idea how much time you will get, but here's betting it's gonna be a lot. And it should be a lot. We do not need psycho knuckleheads getting all bent out of shape over their personal demons and then taking out their angst on perfectly innocent folks. There are too many of them try…

This has always true, but the web has made it far worse. A new poster to this forum with the counterintuitive moniker @Wide awake shared an inflammatory video (below). Wide awake has been bombarding the site with a deluge of racist and antisemitic memes and content. "Wide" shared so much content it was impossible to consume it all, let alone address it. One such obviously untrue meme stated a Black man was the first to own a slave in America, suggesting that this Black man single handedly started slavery in America. When I pointed out how the meme could not possibly be true Wide Wake accused me of cherry picking and ignoring the great number of…

This is a brief article from Publishers Weekly (PW), which is the largest publishing trade publication in the country, perhaps the world. The article mentions several Black-owned website -- all of which predate AALBC by at least a -- and AALBC is 25 years old! I have been interviewed by PW several times over the years. One has to recognize that PW is the best chronicler of the Black Book World that is still in print. There have been others, who did the job better, like the Quarterly Black Review (QBR) and Black Issues Book Review (BIBR), but these publications did not last very long, have both been out of print for years. We have lost many publ…

In 2024, 65% of all searches resulted in zero clicks! That is a staggering statistic. I read somewhere on mobile that figure was 75% in 2024. Of course, this will increase in 2025 as Google continues to increase its use of AI on its "search" engine. The crazy things is the reason that people don't have to click links is that Google's AI is providing answers to visitors from content taken from the website that Google used to send visitors to! Of course, it is far more efficient for the users to get answers from AI -- so users will never complain. However, what incentive do content creators have if Google is just going to p…

The biggest threat to the Black community are Wedlock, dreadlocks, and obesity. Its the top 3 along with the obvious ( Violent crime). Wedlock- no fathers, no family structure, and young mothers. dreadlocks- silly hair style goes hand in hand with tattoo’s, and silly clothing. No one will ever take you seriously. Obesity- particularly black women. Its an epidemic in the black communty as is diabetes. Irresponsible diets in the black community. All of these issue are Self Inflicted and our own fault as a black community.

Are you taking your vitamins and supplements? I was listening to Dr Oz on the radio the other day and he said to avoid eating junk food 🥘 on the road he kept nuts in the car. He said the body doesn’t crave calories, it craves nutrients. I think he is right. A few weeks ago I had started using vitamin patches to boost my Immune system. I found that the combination of drinking more water and using the patch it has caused a decrease in food 🥘 cravings. I just placed an order for the Complete package. I would love ❤️ to get more people responses about their experiences. Please visit my Instagram …

Well, my vote has been cast; though Hillary did not exactly need it as she will win my district and state by a healthy margin I'm sure. CBS reported that Virgina, Texas, and New York were are at risk of a terrorist attack by al Qaeda before the election. There were no details or instructions on what we should do in reaction. Cynical me says, CBS are desperate and will do anything for clicks. I think folks in the Deep South have more to fear from American terrorism after the election...

Slow day, half way through July and I'm really appreciating that where I am, summer is turning out to be genuine. Hot, blue-skied days, warm nights, balmy breezes, green lawns, blooming flowers, growing gardens, scampering squirrels, chirping birds - thunder storms punctuated with lightning. I love it all, because for the past few years, my summers haven't lived up to expectations. They would be tentative, sluggish, not sure they really wanted to heat up, and before I knew it the leaves were falling and a cold winter was forecast, leaving me to be content with watching the seasons change. Content, indeed, because there is something awesome about witnessing nature go thro…

@DelRegarding your current deconstruction of time, to me and some others, it seems as if time, or what I perceive as time, has sped up. Tempus fugit! It's like we just celebrated the advent of 2021 and in a blink of the eye, the year is almost over! This perception trickles down into other representations of time in my life. I identify a day as being Monday, and then before i get oriented, it's the week-end! Just recently, I lost a whole day! When I was getting my recyclables together to put out on what I thought was Thursday, my daughter informed that it was Friday. My advancing age probably has something to do with this and the fact that I have no schedule to keep.…

What do you all think about this meme? For some time now, well over a decade I've been thinking about the term "diversity" in the content of what it means to Black people. Basically the assumption is that if something is diverse Black people are included, but this is not true. I recall reading a brochure about a private school my kid went to, in which the school proudly described themselves as 20% diverse, but my kid was the only Black child in her class of 40. The same was true in most of the corporations I've worked for, on paper they were very diverse, but that diversity was not evident by the number of African Americans in the offices or cubicles. …

This Sunday morning while listening to some old Hiphop music I was listening to Onyx's "Slam" (stop tryna be as loud as ME cuz' you can't do dat) and one of the lines was: "Peace to the bruthaz on Ricker's Isle" Then I thought about these government officials who refused to drop the charges against Eric Adams and would rather resign instead to prove some sort of point or in the name of "justice" and then I thought about Riker's Island and the MANY THOUSANDS of men who have been locked up for month and months and in many cases YEARS in that fucking dungeon awaiting "trial". Many of them were killed or just died of natural causes in that jail not yet having their d…

interesting enough, everything that I find (researched) is that far more whites (41%) are killed by police each year compared to blacks(17%) however, far more blacks are arrested! Please tell me why our news reporters, political leaders and so many others are hell bent on portraying this to be just the opposite and lead others to believe that blacks are somehow being targeted and oppressed by our society??? Please do your research before you comment on this. Please!!

Why I Like White men 1. Many are the most handsome men (blues eyes are killer) in the world, more marriage and family oriented. 2. Many are ambicious, hardworking high achievers who believe in education. 3. Many are courteous, considerate, intelligent and logical. 4. Many are romantic, adventurous in bed and sex as hell! 5. White men as a whole have more capital, political power and status then most other races of men.

Biden recently nominated Ketanji Brown Jackson for the supreme court. Initially, I was proud that a black sister was finally nominated. But quickly I went from pride to disappointment when the cameras rolled over to her husband, Patrick G. Jackson, who so happens to be white. It did not help matters that Jackson stood on one side of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris (also married to a white guy) was on the other. I know many are not in favor of being told who to love but this matter goes deeper than that. For some odd, unknown reason powerful black women are migrating to white men seemingly without regard for the message this send to a black brother. Secondly, there is the uns…

Recently, archaeologists have found in a cave the skeleton remains of one of the earliest inhabitants of England(maybe Europe in general). He is called Cheddar Man because his remains were found in Gough's Cave in Somerset's Cheddar Gorge. It turns out the man had dark skin, curly hair, and blue eyes. I know a lot of white people must really be pissed off about this discovery because, if it is true, the earliest prehistoric Europeans did not have white skin, However, his features are not Africoid and he does have blue eyes. Cheddar Man looks more like he is closely related to the Australoid or Vedd…

@Pioneer1 and @Kalexander2 has been going at it pretty regularly for a few months now. I was just wondering what others (lurkers please chime in) thought about it. Is it entertaining, destructive, boring, an shame, funny, sad, or something else? I'm really very curious to read what others think. Battles like this are not uncommon indeed when there were more participants they were more frequent, though not as usually as protracted. The last ongoing battle was between Cynique and another poster. I maintained a hands off approach until the other poster wrote something that was really beyond the pale (at least in my book), so I deleted the offending post. The …

Many Black descended of enslaved complain that all black people do is complain, not enough action. But the articles linked at the end of this post, are complaints from two groups: one a gender race, the other a linguistic race, not the black phenotypical race. What is my point? Black people in the usa and elsewhere tend to complain that we are the only ones who complain and everyone else are great do-ers, the two articles prove by the words of those in other communities, they are not do-ers. I've been noticing that the SAME people who dye their hair blonde are usually the SAME people who celebrate Christmas, Easter, Thanks Giving, and any other day White people established for their "subjects" to celebrate. And both types usually use the same excuses for doing so. There was a time in America....roughly between 1965-1995....where Black folks were coming out of celebrating those pagan holidays and we were doing our own thing. That also was the same time period where Black women were more likely to embrace their natural hair texture and color! I don't think those examples are coincidences. And just like after around 1995 more AfroAm…
