My reasoning is simple. I find in AALBc, we debate on the black community, but we often escape what the black community is in the usa or eslewhere, not what we want it to be, or what it was. So I am in Mexico for the next ten days. So far it has been an interesting trip. I see people that look Hispanic, Spanish, German and Indian. There's a real mix of looks. Facebook recently banned a little old lady and that reminded me of the regular emails I get from Facebook rejecting innocuous books that I've place on their site. Below are a few examples. This is not to say Facebook should not ban things, but it seems to me when it comes to Black things (people and books in this case) that their algorithm is pretty aggressive against us. I watched Gone With the Wind for the first time last night. I was a interesting film. Apparently, the NAACP boycotted it when it came out in 1940. (Does the NAACP boycott anything nowadays?)
