Another mass shooting event in the US. 18 killed and 13 injured. The shooter is a marksman who just 2 weeks ago was in a mental health facility. Not only was this killer allowed to keep his weapons. He made a few statements on social media about killing folks. The FBI is at his house asking him to come out with his hands up. Considering what this killer has already done, the authorities should force their way into his home and take him down. Well, I didn't actually go there. I listened to their live stream (Friday, July, 2010). I received an e-mail announcing the departure of Al Goodman of The Moments. Oh yeah, love on a two way street. In the e-mail there was a link to the station in Harlem (WHCR 90.3 FM). They played my kind of music. I even called the station and asked for a special request. They were more than happy to honor my request. They got on the air and sent one to me. They even mentioned that I was way out in Iowa.

I can absolutely respect this.

Being a police officer, especially, in New York City is a difficult job. The work is stressful, your see the worst humanity has to offer on a regular basis. The job can be thankless. A role that is needed, desperately in some locations, but if a mistake is make the general public is all over you. That said I can not fathom a single justification for the senseless murder of a 51 years old Black man in broad daylight on a crowded NY City street. 12 shots fired by 2 officers, hitting the Brother 7 times (or so I've heard). I don't get it. They decided to execute kill this man. The police commissioner said the actions of the officers were justified. I don't see it.
