Today, Americans exercise their civic duty in electing the leadership of the country up and down the ballot. Regardless of who one chooses to vote for and whether they do it early or by mail or in person, it is an exercise that comes around every 4 years for the national election. This American Life is my favorite "radio" program. Over the years I've found every program extremely engaging, some fascinating.
