It spewed anti-Semitic, Jew-hating, anti-Asian, anti-White bigotry. It was a racial cesspool of black bigotry which showed why black Americans in the ghetto can never make it: their leaders and informations sources are The Klan with a Tan." Read the rest of the comment. I actually approved the comment because maybe it will help people appreciate how important newspapers like The City Sun are...

The nature of reality is an ongoing enigma, a subject that is frequently explored on this board. It's a concept that I never tire of contemplating. Is reality an illusion? Is illusion a reality because it can be mentally perceived? When it comes to reality, does it matter whether something is tangible or intangible? Is deception the same as an illusion, and is one person's reality another one's lie? The 2 pictures below were taken a couple of days ago. The first picture was taken about 20 minutes before the second one, proving how external factors can embellish and disguise. Nobody embodies the mystique of reality any more than humans who create the paradox of faca…

I just saw a news segment about Jay Z and Meek Mill launching the new alliance and it already has star power. Money has been pledged and rich donors, such as the Kraft family who own the Patriots are on board. As a veteran/victim of the criminal justice system, I am elated. However, I have not been absent from this struggle to reform prison. Even now, I am in talks with individuals who are interested in my program, PROJECT UPLIFT, and pushing to secure a grant for the program. It deals with Drug-Dealer Addiction which has never been studied before in great depth so the tenets of the program are innovative and new. I had to start from scratch and that is what I wanted. For the past 25-years (as a personal project of interest) I've been reading, staying abreast of controversial arguments surrounding "THE PROTOCOLS OF THE LEARNED ELDERS OF ZION " contents of which continue to raise questions about world domination attempts by Jews. Reduced to notions of a worldwide conspiracy theory, questions abound, for me, as to how such an effort effect Blacks, globally. My question remains, could such a doctrine exist in today’s reality? Economic Wars, State powers and Methods of Conquest, Materialism Replacing human values and Religion, Despotism and Modern Progress, World-Wide Wars, ideas of Provisional Government, Re-education tech…

Just a few minutes ago I added a book to the site, C Is for Country by Lil Nas X. I have not seen the physical book, but after living in Oklahoma for a year and a half and attending my first Black rodeo, I learned there is what I'll call a modern "horse culture" that I did not recall seeing in a children's books, and felt it was important to have this book added to the site. I discovered C Is for Country after learning more about the book illustrator, Theodore Taylor III. Theo is a prolific children's book illustrator whose work was inadequately reflected on this site given his contributions to Black children's literature. I was already familiar w…

How things have changed and progressed since that sunny afternoon in 1933 when the doctor whose office was where my Daddy worked as a part-time janitor, hurried to the home of my parents and kept his promise to deliver his employee's baby instead of paying him his measely salary that week. With my mom's best friend, who was a nurse, in attendance, I was delivered at home, - like a whole lot of other "depression era" babies. I weighed in at 9lbs, - surprising since for most of the rest of my life I was thin. Over the years, I've been a witness to a lot of histo…

From time to time people provide links to songs they want to share with others for one reason or another. Since it's a slow day, I'll indulge my personal tastes. Music lovers know that good music is good music, and the passage of time doesn’t alter this. My first choice is a song that became popular around 1950. It is entitled “It’s a Blue World” and was a ground-breaking record because it set the bar for all the crooning male singing groups that came after, including The Temptations, who cited The Four Freshmen as the vocal quartet which had inspired and influenced them most. As is the case in all of their selections, the Four Freshmen’s 4-part harmonizing …

Upon his untimely death, to me, the most surprising thing revealed about this "think- outside-the-box college drop-out", - an adopted child raised by a white middleclass family, was that his biological father was Syrian, making Jobs half-Arab. Small world, made even smaller by how we have all become electronically connected thanks to the genius of Jobs.

The so-called national news outlets intentionally leave out the concerns of the cultural collective community of Black people every four years. The term “Black” is a legal term for the people assigned to the bottom of the ‘casted’ system in America. The Ancestors were designated to the term (Negroes) by the British Elites lawmakers, therefore the term was transferred to us. I hear about the power Black women supposedly have on Twitter all the time. The reality is that this so called power is a myth, because power comes from ownership, and Black women don't own Twitter. Or rather it was ultra rabid Obama supporters saying how Obama kicked Romney's ass last night. One thing I hate about Facebook is that I usually only get one perspective only. With 5,300 friends this seems unlikely. All of my friends, judging by my wall, are blind supporters of Obama. Walk past a group of Black youth today and you're liable to hear terms and phrases that used to be outdated, like "red bone" and "what you name iz" I even notice that the baggy pants many of the boys wear is forcing them to shuffle when they walk like Step'n Fetchit. By no means am I underestimating white power or it's destructive impact. And we know how large numbers of whites can be galvanized by racist appeals, But the monolithic notion of white unity is a fallacy. Talking and thinking about whites as a unified group ignores whites' self-perception as individuals. It also fails to take class and gender inequality into consideration. More importantly, it disempowers black people fighting for positive social change by focusing on some kind of unattainable " black unity" to counter racism and economic injustice. Because white people are so numerous and relatively well off in most ways as a group compared to black people i…

Even though slavery and the sale of humans by means of shipping happened in the old world, the prophecy written down in the Bible was about one main epoch: the Transatlantic Slave Ship Trade. Why though? What was so critical to write about this event to the affect that the very first author of the Holy Bible wr…
