I lurked on the old Thumper's corner. I think that the there needs to be better moderation on this forum because so far it is just filled with too much trolling and talking & trashtalking about *will not mention this person's name*. Those threads need to be deleted and more legitimate thread discussions should be created with legitimate posters. Maybe the adminstrator needs to make it so that you have to be registered in order to make a post because the trolling is getting out of h and. And if the trolling still continues then accounts need to be deleted. I hate what this forum has become.

From time to time people provide links to songs they want to share with others for one reason or another. Since it's a slow day, I'll indulge my personal tastes. Music lovers know that good music is good music, and the passage of time doesn’t alter this. My first choice is a song that became popular around 1950. It is entitled “It’s a Blue World” and was a ground-breaking record because it set the bar for all the crooning male singing groups that came after, including The Temptations, who cited The Four Freshmen as the vocal quartet which had inspired and influenced them most. As is the case in all of their selections, the Four Freshmen’s 4-part harmonizing …

  5. Oscar Predictions 2012 Who Will Win, Who Deserves to Win, Who Was Snubbed by Kam Williams On May 16, 1929, the first Academy Awards were staged in Hollywood at the Hotel Roosevelt. Wings, a silent film, won the Oscar for Best Picture that night, a feat which would never be repeated, given the impending innovations in sound technology that ushered in the age of the talkies. But, as they say, wait long enough, and everything comes back into style, and such is the case with The Artist, a nostalgic throwback that’s the prohibitive favorite to prevail at this year’s ceremony. Who’d a thunk that a black & white, silent flick from France would eclip…

. Lately I have been reading about time. It seems to be a hard thing to describe. I have also been thinking about the quality of time. Although we mostly think about time as quantities. It is paradoxical because it is the only resource we have at our disposal, yet we can neither accumulate it nor save it. And we trade it for money, fun and everything else.

Like many USA firms or industries outside military products, they are weak from the 1900s to today. DeepSeek said it cost 5 million dollars to produce a product rivaling any comparative computer program in storage/speed/calculation at 1/20th of the cost. So this proves the value of the usa firms is incorrect. which is my issue. Tesla was given such a high value. The USA's financial environment allows for a bloating of firms, like Nvidia, like Tesla that to be blunt, have each lost huge market shares which they shouldn't. The fact that the best…

Sharing this sentiment are the many others who are simply resigned to accepting defeat. The undertones of Trump's inaugural speech were "it's my way or the highway" - obviously his formula for making America great again. What's compelling about Internet Forums is what every contributor has in common. Although most preface their statements with an obligatory "IMO", let's face it, nobody enters a discussion with the idea that what they post is wrong . And when everybody feels this way, the stage is set for dissent. Who really believes that those who contradict you, know what they're talking about? No one thinks what their adversary calls facts, are that reliable. Everyone secretly places great significance on their anecdotal evidence. Meanwhile, coming up with a rebuttal takes priority over giving close attention to what is being claimed by your opponent. Plus, how people react or overre…

Idk. I just wanted to share my thoughts on this. When it comes to compatibility I find earth signs and water signs do well together and fire and wind signs do well together. I know there are more complexities to it based on the behavior of each specific sign, and I know there are exceptions, too. But typically, this is how I've seen it: Earth gives water a place to release and settle, while water gives earth life and reason to be still. Air gives fire expansion to gain more ground and fire gives air something to fan out and inspire. On the flip side: Earth and fire don't work well because …
