I've noticed a recent pattern in colleges: increasing numbers of non-Black professors as experts in Black studies (African, Diaspora, American). And I personally question my feelings about it. Well, the televised re-make of Roots came to an end and I, personally, was enriched and educated by ignoring calls to boycott it. Johnson but POTUS-elect was always behind him. No way Johnson was going to lose the gavel. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (Dem) won 215 votes. As customary, he handed the gavel over to the House Speaker. Rep. Byron Donalds received 1 vote. Of course, he's just happy to be the GOP chief water-boy. Remains to be seen how productive government will be with the GOP essentially controlling all three branches of it. No excuses in terms of opposition.😎
