Has anyone ever considered what all this negative/violent programming does to one's psyche? I can't image there is no adverse impact. I think about this as I watch HBO's programming from True Blood, The Wire, The Soporanos, Game of Thrones, Broadwalk Empire, etc all this evil can't be good for you; can it? I just sat down to watch some YouTube videos while eat my dinner and decided to watch the NBC nightly news. Now I never watch local or national news broadcast, but the flooding in Houston piqued my interest. 90 seconds in I can tell why so many Americans are stressed out. College tuition is going through the atmosphere. Student loan debt is ridiculous. Non-STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) degrees will become less valuable especially as technology takes over jobs that do not require human hands. Okay, I just broke down a begin my first foray into TicTok. Everyone is telling me I need to be on the platform. So I'm starting in earnest today. I still can't image it helping, but I hope I'm proven wrong. My goal is to post a short video several times a week. I'm open to any suggestions. The video is raw, I did not bother to shave or wear anything special -- if I did it would be too much work. Well, I didn't actually go there. I listened to their live stream (Friday, July, 2010). I received an e-mail announcing the departure of Al Goodman of The Moments. Oh yeah, love on a two way street. In the e-mail there was a link to the station in Harlem (WHCR 90.3 FM). They played my kind of music. I even called the station and asked for a special request.
