i have been following the coverage of Trump's controversial nominee for the Supreme Court. Observing the dramatic "he-said-she-said" testimonies of the woman accusing Trump's choice of sexual assault, and the denial of these charges by the accused, has been not only riveting but rather depressing. America is bordering on shambles. Dr. Christine Ford alleges that 30+ years ago, Brett Kavanaugh and his friend, Mark Judge, accosted her at a high school house party. She relates how a drunk Kavanaugh pulled her inside a bedroom where he pinned her down, tried to undress her, and nearly smothered her before she was able to get away and lock herself in a bathroo…

Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap - Eminem - Clip Hey Nah'Sun if you are lurking out there Ice-T said this about Eminem; It is amazing the a white boy is the greatest rapper of them all (I've paraphrased Ice-T but that is essentially what he said). I'm not saying I agree, I'm just saying.... He did have Bam in his documentary, but overall I'd give the documentary which I'd give 2.5 stars (out of 5). It was a very biased and shallow treatment of Rap, but I'm sure most youngins and hip-hop fanatics will love it. It was good to see so many different artists provide a sample of their lyrical skills.

Please explain to me how brotha Jordan Neely was executed by strangulation on a subway train at the hands of a white guy. I find it hard to believe there were no AfroAmerican men on the train. If AfroAmerican men were on the train, why didn't they intervene and save Jordan Neely's life. The AfroAmerican District Attorney took his time bringing charges against the murderer. AfroAmerican elected leaders haven't shown any outrage. AfroAmerican people are silent. Every time one of these white folks kills a black person it sends a message to the rest of them that they can get away with murder. Black folks need to get…

The 13th The title of Ava DuVernay's extraordinary and galvanizing documentary refers to the 13th Amendment to the Constitution, which reads "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States." The progression from that second qualifying clause to the horrors of mass criminalization and the sprawling American prison industry is laid out by DuVernay with bracing lucidity. With a potent mixture of archival footage and testimony from a dazzling array of activists, politicians, historians, and formerly incarcerated women and men, DuVernay creates a w…

Again, why is it 99% of the third parties in the usa, since the two party system, never choose to actually grow from the bottom to the top? the People's party first campaign is this one for Cornell West. Their first campaign. How can you expect to win a majority of 50 states when you have no presence in any state? Cornell west and many others before him, like Ross PErot, have differences in many ways, but all of them , regardless of their knowledge, clearly lack erudition in terms of government. The people's party has a website that is willing to accept money, has a bunc…

  10. I went to see Perry's film Temptation last night. In general the critical reviews of this film (save the one I published on AALBC.com) were horrible; so much so I was reluctant to check it out. Considering some people, not me of course, can easily check out two or three flicks for the price of a single movie ticket the risk can be minimized ;-) At any rate, the film was not bad at all. Sure it was the typical drama laden "Tylerperryesque" flick, but it was also a story that relates the complexity of marriage, and is sure to resonate with many people. Sure the situations were over the top, in the plausibility department. But it was far more plau…

Apparently most of you don't know what an ALLEGORY is. An ALLEGORY is basically a symbolic story. A story used to conceal certain historical events and facts that weren't meant for the public to know. It's not the same as a myth or a fable, it has a specific purpose and that's to conceal truths from the general public and put it in symbolism so that only those in certain societies with the proper "keys" of understanding can figure out the true meaning behind the message/story. The Bible is full of ALLEGORIES. The Bible is a book made up not only of many different books stitched together over thousands of years by different authors and authorities, but e…

Most of the Jews of today are White and of European descent who took the land from the Palestinians after WWII. Most of the Palestinians are mixed raced descendants of Arab and Greeks who invaded and took the land thousands of years ago from the Original owners. If you believe the Bible, the Israelites who USED to live on the land for hundreds of years before becoming dispossessed a couple times themselves took it from the Original owners. However, some of these plants also had mythological stories that spoke of their origin in the supernatural realm.
