Of course the reason is the system of white racism. However, this video does offer a sensible overview of the differences. A Christian entity produced the video, but I think anyone can learn from it -- even @nels

To @Pioneer1's point, I find it interesting that white folks feel comfortable showing up @ AALBC a discussion forum primarily for Black folks. Whenever said white folks do post anything, it's mostly to criticize and/or point out the flaws in Black folks. The same white folks who show up here don't seem to offer anything positive or constructive nor do they provide a solution for what white folks will do to eliminate the system of racism white supremacy. I would dare not show show up on a white extremist or KKK or Duck Dynasty website talking about how white folks need to stop inbreeding, smoking crystal meth, mass killing each other …

At the Web site The Root, eminent scholar/historian/researcher Dr. Henry Louis Gates Jr. has posted a fascinating, provocative piece about genetic lineage of American descendants of African slaves. Link: http://www.theroot.com/views/exactly-how-black-black-america In this evidence-based piece, using genetic analysis research he explores and exposes lies and legacies of slavery, racism, and Jim and Jane Crow in America. In the process, he blasts Grand Canyon-sized gaps in longstanding myths and folklore, drawing startling but verifiable conclusions: (1) A whopping 35 percent of all African-American men descended from a white male ancestor who fathe…

Most guys they look up to are ether drug dealers or users. single mothers raising boys by themselvles. boy still crave they male image to look up to. There is no direction for our youths on a positive level. Look at china they have currulim for study starting they childern very young. knowledge instills disiplent and thats what our youths need.

In the real world, whether I'm at work or on the street....if I'm talking to somebody and I'm trying to remember something I often will ask them or give myself a while to try to remember it myself. Some people ask, why not just look it up on your phone? Because I don't want to. I like the feeling of REMEMBERING certain things and I'll sometimes wait a whole day trying to remember something and use the internet only as a last resort. I like using my brain. I usually don't use calculators for the same reason. I'll grab a sheet of paper and do it with a pen. A lot of younger people under 30 will crowd around me in amazement and wonder what I'm doing an…

http://aalbc.com/tc/index.php?/topic/2587-plug-in-to-this/?p=10802. I've been spending quite a bit of time, energy and even money trying to promote other business that promote and uplift Black people. This has been an UPHILL battle. Remarkably I've gotten more resistance than support. If I can't make anymore progress than I have in 2014. I think I will just join the fray; tell everyone to visit me on Facebook and start promoting books like, Why Every Black Woman Should Marry a Jewish Man. I post books information on Facebook almost daily. It takes a few seconds and brings a handful of people to the site, so I do it. Of course, all of positive stuff gene…

Why does Hickson ignore one of the most basic rules of netiquette: do not type in all caps. There are many reason one should avoid this; It is simply harder to read It is perceived as SCREAMING It actually trigger many email spam filters It just turns some people off The question remains: Is typing in all caps effective? I'm sure Hickson can tell if it is, but given that he has been doing the entire time he has been posting I suspect it is effective. The real question then is why it is effective? It is like asking why is Kola Boof effective, despite her unorthodox methods? I have my theories, but hopefully we will hear from Hickson himself. One clue we can…

“I stumbled across your website and I'm wondering if you can help me. I read a book a couple of months ago and I'm wondering if you can give me any suggestions about how to go about finding this book I do know that is written by a black author but I don't know the name of the book and I don't know the name of the author is there a way that you may be able to help me? I look forward to hearing from you.” My initial reaction was to suggest some Ginkgo biloba, Now 30 years ago, I might have been able to help; maybe even run the titles off the top of my head. I replied respectfully. Don't ask me why..

This sister breaks it down as to why she considers herself an American and embrace America as her country, and as a Black man I feel similarly. She makes an excellent point about racist Trump supporters wanting to take back "their" country. Hell, Trump's parents or grandparents are from SCOTLAND....most Black people have ancestors who've gone back 10 or 15 generations on this land! Also, listen to the West Indian who calls in around 15 minutes later who also articulates as to why Black Americans should embrace their country. Black people helped build this country, it's silly to let OTHER people (many of them children of immigrants or immigrants themselves) embrac…

I have nothing against Congresswoman Bass. She's an intelligent and professional sister and I'm sure she would make an excellent mayor for any U.S. city. However...... I was hoping she DIDN'T win that election. I was actually hoping that Republican White dude had won it. Why? Because like most elections in the United States today, I think it is/was rigged and I don't trust them. I think it's a ruse and a trick to further confuse AfroAmericans and give our people....especially in California and elsewhere...a FALSE sense of power. California....including the Los Angeles area....is racist as hell against AfroAmericans. Black people make up only a…

Why Insult the GWOAT!? This is another way this acronym has been portrayed and I like it much better than GOAT. Anyway recently, there has been much rhetoric about the track star Sha’carri Richardson both negative and positive because she was recently cut from being able to compete in major track events across the world but more so because she has been very vocal too, in speaking out against certain athletes one of which was Allyson Felix. But why? Like many other athletes, Allyson was asked to make a comment about Sha’carri and imo, she responded very favorably, however, Sha’carri went after Allyson which much indignation. Not only did Sha’carri insult Allyso…

Why do so many of these Black men like Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather INSIST on making these nobody White men rich by even acknowledging their existence? Nobody would even know who this clownish White boy (Jake Paul) WAS unless Tyson agreed to fight him. Then he ends up losing to him. Just helping White men make money. They don't want to fight another Black man and help HIM make a few million. Just pick one no-named White boy after another and prop them up on the world stage so he can win/lose and make a quick $50 million, and then disappear. Meanwhile they're really looking for a "great white hope" who can go down on record as having whooped the …

raised an issue about the reduction in participation on the AALBC.com discussion boards in recent years, suggesting that Facebook and social media was the cause. I have not taken the time to quantify the reduction, but anyone who has been observing our boards in recent years knows participation is lower. The life of a discussion board is a direct function of the level and quality of the conversation so this is an issue that I care about and since AALBC.com is a one man operation I typically have not had enough time to really delve in the causes and take more aggressive action reverse the trend. Over the last 15 years I've collected data on how the site is used as well…

N*tflix has a docuseries coming about OJ Simpson. The man was acquitted 30 years ago. He's been dead for almost 1 year. Yet, white folks still seem to be obsessed with the OJ thing. It unnerves them that as far as they're concerned, a Black man got away with murder. Nevermind there's no shortage of theories surrounding how those people were unalived. White folks refuse to let the OJ case go but tas soon as we brimg up slavery, racism and reparations, their response is that it happened a long time ago or they weren't responsible despite benefitting or it doesn't exist and Black folks should let it go. I believe Black folks s…

Why....in 2024....about to be 2025....is this brother "surprised" at the way Latino men feel about seeing Latina women with Black men? He's not the only one surprised, I'm surprised too. But I'm not surprised at THEM. I've known how most of them felt about that for decades. Since my early 20s. What surprises ME is how naive and ignorant some of our brothers STILL are despite 400 years of having to deal with the jealousy and hatred of their racist open enemies. Why are niggaz still walking around like dumb ass squirrels totally oblivious to the fact that most White and many non-Black men are jealous of and fear the sexual potency of Black men and hav…

I wonder if this is just happening to me or is this a new part this community. Every time I click into a thread, there is a little black and white 'X' box that appears. Even if I click on an icon at the bottom of a post, that 'x' appears. Sometimes, I cannot submit my post unless I click on that little 'x'. Even if I browse without logging in, that little 'x' will appear. If anyone knows why this is happening or if they are getting the same issue, please let me know.

There are so many reasons why there is not much participation on these forums, but there are many reasons why people do participate. Trying to appeal to people on the positives and downplay the negatives is challenging, but I'm open to ideas. I should be clear what I mean by participation: I mean people who post comments and start conversation There are currently 9,652 people who have an account on this forum, but only 917 of them have made at least one comment. Only 250 have made 5 or more comments--that is less than 3% people who have created account. 65 People have made 100 or more comments, but many of those people have not posted in years …

Keechant Sewell left the NYPD because she wanted to reprimand a senior official in the NYPD and the mayor opposed her. Adams said he loved Kechant Sewell but when she wanted to reprimand a high ranking official in the NYPD, the mayor opposed her. Yes she was not from the NYPD but a law enforcement agency in long island, but all the nypd people clapping for like friends or appreciative is bullshit, and adams is a liar. I learned this from local nyc news. I apologize I can't find a clip of this online and I didn't tape it nor do I see it coming on again. So for those looking for raw proof, I can't give it. Being a 23 year old black man splitting my 23 years btween a city that has a strong African American influence ( St. Louis) and another city that despite the growing number of African American the culture is weak and seems to lack roots (Phoenix), I have learned one main thing about black women and women of other races, most black women do not know there roles. Hear me out, the reason for the growing number of black men looking to marry outside of there race is do to the fact the a growing number of black men a being educated and finding out what they want in life and in women. No matter what anyone says about the white race, thewomen in it know there roles and stic…

With the latest headline-making scandal involving men in high places who succumb to the primitive gratification of forbidden fruit, I can't help but to again ask myself what possesses men to risk everything, - their careers, their family, their marriages, their reputations, just to indulge their sexual urges and fantasies? And are these high-profile men the exceptions, not the rule? I wonder. Gettin caught doing wrong seems to be the chief deterrent, as opposed to doing the right thing. Apparently, the penis is not satisfied with a good "hand". It prefers to trump the brain and gamble on winning. Women are still the big losers, whether they are the ones being betra…

I worked like a dog for him. I was standing on the mall inauguration day along with tens of thousands of others, thrilled at the prospect of the dawn of a new age. It was not simply that he was the first black man with a serious chance of being elected president. I would have been the first one in line to vote against a Clarence Thomas or a Michael Steele. He spoke in the language of a progressive who would fight to make the United States a fairer place—who would fight for universal health care, for public works programs that would put people back to work fixing road and bridges, for laws that would make it easier for workers to form unions and fight for their own rights,…

I still have not heard the President's farewell speech, but I have heard clips and I watched an Interview on TV last night. In each instance, I've heard Obama state that the country is better off as a result of his presidency. In fact, in the interview I watched last night, Obama said this was "objectively" true in any way you want to measure it. As an entrepreneur; educator; and someone who has been involved in a wide variety of industries including, defense, financial services, publishing, and technology the notion that the country is better off now, than it was 8 years ago, does not ring true. While it is true, based upon the data I have access to, that the…

This well help you understand why people like @Delano and 40% of Americans, some very well "educated," are deniers of man made climate change and why those who believe the science not not moved to do anything about it. There are many videos and books on the subject of why people deny science. They explain why people reject the efficacy of vaccinations or even evolution. I've taken a keener interest in this subject recently because when trying to explain the downside of say an Amazon monopoly or the adverse effects Facebook's dominance of internet, I fail. I tend to come at people with data and facts. You really have to find some common ground an…

One of my "bots" found this article, Why the Republican Party is a better fit for African Americans, and posted it on Facebook for me. I noticed it got a lot of clicks so I decided to check the article out myself. I'm not a Republican or a Democrat. I'm sure there are righteous and kind people in both parties as well as evil ones. I don't think either party really serves the people, so the whole rigid allegiance with one party over the other does not resonated with me. Because of the way I think, the whole idea that a group of people have so completely embraced the democratic party is something I simply can't fathom. White folks are free to be in either party ba…

There are a variety of reasons but one has to do with the nature of the conversations. I was on Lipstick Alley a few moments ago reading a comment posted in a thread I'm following. One of the trending conversation is shown below. The post tickled me because it was so absurdly shallow. There was a time which I was guaranteed to get a laugh visiting these forums, but this was years ago now. I listen to podcasts far more often than watch TV or read books. The Hidden Brain podcast is one I listen to regularly. This program (embedded below) made me think our discussion forum and why people believe what they believe despite strong evidence to the counter. More importantly, the program provides a compelling (at least to me) theory on why expert knowledge and facts that conflict with one's opinion doesn't lead to a change in one's opinion. I've seen it countless time here and it is fascinating, for it is not intuitive to someone like me. For example if someone, like @daniellegfny, presents me with data that reveals Covid-19 is the 3rd l…

Please read this carefully so as not to get the wrong understanding: Unless this planet gets hit by a giant asteroid or otherwise destroyed, currently AfroAmericans pretty much have 2 directions they can go to try and increase their success: 1. Keep Trump in office so that this society can continue to deteriorate and eventually collapse. 2. Or get Biden in office so that he can clean up SOME of the mess that has been made and maintain this society. Let's take a brief and practical look at both options, shall we............ 1. If Trump stays in office, unemployment poverty and destitution …

The poster also has a "Low Reputation" on Disqus (the commenting software I use throughout the website). They also used a restricted word "smegma." I see nothing wrong with the word, but apparently Disqus see it as a flag for spammers and the like. Why do some religious folks have to insist that the Bible is scientifically accurate. This is absurd on it's face. However just …

Why White People are Called Caucasian I came across this scholarly video a few years ago and believe that it is very informative! At about the 16:25 minute mark a Black American man gives his viewpoint on his experience when he lived in Moscow about how Caucasians are viewed today in that area. However, my research goes much deeper than this scholarship! Although what I am going to share is not part of this video but I do believe it is very important. For example, in this video it is brought out that the term Caucasians was applied to White people around the modern age of our history. But now, I will share…

As much as I actively try to avoid 45’s innate tweets, I can’t — unless I eschew media altogether. This video helps explains how Fox News helped destroy jounalism. I've always argued social media (i.e. 45’s tweets, Covid19 conspiracies, antivacers, etc) has put the assault against journalism on steroids. Many who reject the adverse impact of social media, in general, and Fox News in particular say, "It does not change the way I think." That may be true, but for too many others is does. Fox smeared Hillary Clinton over Pizzagate and the use of an unsecured email server, and Trump was tweeting objectively outrageous ideas. Mainstream "journalists" …
